NW Vacations

NW Vacations's guest rating of 4.69 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The location and views from this Airbnb are incredible. It was nice having enough space for our group of 7 and we enjoyed the porch and the private beach. We received two different door codes prior to cushion, so that was a bit confusing but we eventually figured out which one was correct. The outdoor furniture was very dirty and we spent time cleaning it before we could use it. If you’re planning to cook a lot, I recommend bringing your own knives. Also, bring your own beach towels if going in the water. We also couldn’t find any extra bath towels, despite the fact that the manual said they would be in the closet.

The house and the view were absolutely amazing. It was a short drive to the restaurants and shops of Friday Harbor and had easy access to any attraction on the island. Everything in the home was clean, functional and comfortable. I could spend hours just sitting on that deck drinking in the views of the San Juan Channel. I would absolutely stay there again. The few small items we didn't like were what I would consider management company issues. There were only 2 kitchen towels, which just isn't enough for 3 nights for a family of four that loves to cook, add to that the paper towels made the bargain 50 cent rolls at the dollar tree seem luxurious. They literally ripped apart in your hand trying to get them off the roll. The upstairs shower didn't have hot water for some reason, and the basement shower didn't have soap.

The home was delightful and exactly what we needed, but beware of the amount of light in the summer as the loft beds are not able to be shielded (this provided great light and sunsets from inside though!). The hot tub was lovely and overlooked the ocean and there was a short walk to a small beach. The home is located accessibly from town, but on a quiet road making it feel far removed. We had a challenging time with the check-in and out instructions as information came in multiple texts (not from the same number), links that had different information than some of the signs posted inside the house, and none of which was accessible on the AirBnb page itself It would be helpful to collate all this information into one area that is consistent. Despite that, would highly recommend staying here.

Great access to downtown. Good views of the lake. However, we had consistent issues with our key card not working for the gated amenities (pool, hot tub) and we had to make several trips back to front desk anytime we wanted to use them. Additionally, the second day we tried to use the hot tub the water heater was clearly broken. The place was ok but outdated and small for the price we paid.

We love this location right on the shores of Lake Chelan. The property is well situated for easy lake access, enjoying sunsets from the terrace as well as a 4-5 minute walk to the heart of downtown Chelan. Plenty of parking and easy to find by car. The unit was a studio set up with good room to maneuver and generally well appointed. Although we weren’t there to watch TV, it’s an older flat screen and quite small and for a few hundred $$$ should be upgraded. We had three problems with our stay: 1) the bed needs a new mattress. Others have written about the bed issue in their reviews. We read and noted the mattress bed problem and elected to stay at the property anyway. The bed is definitely an issue. Again - for a small amount of $$$ - upgrade the mattress. 2) There is no WiFi access placard in the unit. 3) At 3:45 am the second night the fire alarm started going off. It took us 45 minutes to disarm it and remove from ceiling. Management was indifferent.

Condo is right in front of the pool and has a view of the lake. Decor is lovely and condo looks like the pictures. The only issue we had is that the AC did not work for our entire stay and NW Vacations didn’t seem to care. I reached out twice via text, once on Friday and again on Saturday, but didn’t hear back from them until Sunday. I ended up calling them on Saturday afternoon and a maintenance guy said someone would come by Saturday night. We completely changed our dinner plans to accommodate a technician who then decided to not come by. We were then told the technician would come on Sunday, but again, that person was a no show. In the end, we were hot and did not sleep well during our stay. If you are okay with not getting any help during your stay if something goes wrong, then this is a great place to stay as it’s right next to the tennis courts, pickleball courts, it has beautiful views and it is walkable to restaurants.

the room we rented was kind of nice, but overpriced for sure. the shelf for the mirror in the bedroom wasnt even secured to the wall on the bottom, my cologne slide off the unsecured shelf and broke. the tv in the bedroom only had 1 chanel. remote didnt even work. the wall decor inside the room was hung unevenly. eye sore for sure. large hole in the wall outside. terrible drywall repair in living room above sliding door. we arrived at 10pm. they left our room key in a lockbox which was fine, but didnt find out we needed wristbands and a parking pass until the next day. there is 0 service done for your room while you are staying, so if you stay for longer than 1 night you need to take your trash downstairs into the parking garage, which is also not explained at all. same thing with towels, if you need more you have to take the old ones to the office and MAYBE they will bring you more. I did not get any replacements. not worth the money i paid for 2 nights.

Unfortunately, we had been eagerly awaiting this trip for our anniversary, to say I was less than impressed is an understatement. The overall experience much left to be desired. For starters, the pricing of the condominium stay rivaled that of a high end resort; the only thing lacking was the top of the line experience. I would have much rather upped the budget a tick for a stay at a proven lodging establishment, than what we were ultimately subjected to. There were no modern appliances, the bathroom rug was dirty/drab, the carpets in the hallway were filthy and weathered. The kicker? We were required to wash our own dishes, empty/take out our garbage across the property, and clear out the fridge. They did in fact have a coffee maker, we were merely too anxious to use it with the fear of it somehow getting damaged and the blame lying squarly on us. To say I will always remember my anniversary is one thing, to say it was for this bad of an experience, is something entirely different.

Pictures are different from what the room looks like. Too expensive for a hotel with bare minimum amenities and bare minimum maintenance.

Was absolutely beautiful and truly a magnificent property. Loved everything about it. Hubby and I had a great stay and totally wanted to give 5 stars and knocking one off because on the day of check out we were panicking to make sure we had things out of the other huts as the property had switched the door codes at 9 in the morning. We still had an hour till check out and was totally locked out of rooms. Hoping we had everything and didnt seem to be missing anything. Would highly suggest not changing the locks until the 10 am check out. Thats my only suggestion.
