Manager Review

Myrtle Beach Resort Realty

4.47
Myrtle Beach Resort Realty's guest rating of 4.47 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Avoid booking through this realtor company. I've stayed at this resort before with a different host and had a great experience, so I know this wasn't the property—it was the management. The unit (RT1205) was poorly maintained, with visible damage throughout and even a blood stain on the bed sheets. Check-in was frustrating because the company provided unclear instructions, security directed us to the wrong building, and multiple messages went unanswered. Reaching anyone required leaving a voicemail. When the female employee finally returned my call, she was rude, impatient, and acted as though I was an inconvenience instead of helping resolve the company's mistake. There was no apology or concern for the situation. The unit is also much smaller than it appears and is not comfortable for more than two people. Overall, poor communication, poor customer service, and poor maintenance. I would not book with this company again.

They need a map and better simplified instructions for check in and out process coming in we had no idea where to go and 1 roll of toilet paper ? Don’t you think you’re a bit stingy ? Beyond that we really liked it.. besides not telling us about the beach construction… and it being shut down when we paid money to vacation to have that access.

My wife has a service dog when we checked in at the gate they saw the dog asked if I had the papers show them all the paperwork they went in the office for 20 minutes, looked over it gave me my gate pass and said I was good after I had maintenance bring me some batteries. The guy reported me for having a dog in the room. Spent the next four days of my vacation being told I’m gonna have to leave and then having to run back-and-forth to try to prove my dog, which is actually not a dog it is a service animal and they had no right to ask me no questions at all legally, but I was more willing to cooperate to move things over during half of my trip on the way through. Got there on Sunday, finally Wednesday got the OK that we were not gonna get kicked out lost half my vacation and wondering if I had a place to stay or not because of my wife’s service animal I felt like was very disrespectful and they need to know the laws of ADA dogs and their registration papers.

The coffee pot was not the one pictured, caulking around tub pulled away and cracked, exhaust fan would squeal and then the fan would kick on after 5 minutes, elevators broke during peak move in and out hours, gang fights on the beach 10:45 pm to 12:30 police called every night couldn't walk the beach at night because entrances from resort to beach blocked with young people with their "UFC" fights, concern for our safety, signs on beach no fireworks on beach, fireworks on the beach and shooting off the balconies...staff didn't do anything so why bother to call them...some of the fireworks fell over and live fireworks flew into the people sitting on the beach.....asked for refund, partial or full and they had no intention of granting our wishes. charged 10.00 a day for parking that you didn't know about until you booked the resort.....we didn't even use the beach we drove to NMB and Surfside the beaches much safer and cleaner. I would never stay there again..warrants a REFUND!

In description of amenities either did not say or I missed it that they were spread over entire property and buildings were not labeled. Not real easy for person with limited mobility to access amenities or even accommodations as elevators were at one end, had to walk long distance to rooms, and then back and forth again to access amenities. Parking was limited handicap and quite a distance from entrance. Stove was very small.

Properly was nice but the condo itself left much to be desired. Limited bath towels for guests and the sheets provided for the pullout were stained and unusable. Fortunately we brought extra blankets otherwise we would not have had enough. The walls are VERY thin so our upstairs neighbors coming in at 2-3 am was not fun with young kids. Outside of the unit washer and dryers were awful, wouldn’t work 1/2 the time and take your money at the same time, ugh! The property staff was very bothered with questions as to where to find the things on the property (laundry, mail room, etc.). Will not be returning to this particular property but Myrtle Beach was fantastic, as always!

I don’t write bad reviews but please check this place completely. My biggest problem was it was on the second floor and it wasn’t listed as such. No elevator. Not ADA compliant and nowhere did it say that. The pictures didn’t match what was on Airbnb

We reserved our stay months out. 2 days before our arrival date. Resort called said had to relocate us. We were supposed to be in the tall building with beautiful condo big ocean view. I got moved to a parking lot view , with a glance of the water 🙃. Condo was nice, building smelt weird. Other than that, everything was fine. They would not discount my stay or even give us a free parking pass for the major inconvenience. Hard to shop around for a different resort, with less then 48 hrs of notice

it was a nice apartment...the balcony is the best place. The only things we got some problems were: that the elevator was crowded sometimes, the cleaning supplies like the broom and dust pain are not good for clean. and the bed sheets were wet and dirty with some hairs. I saw that when I changed those after 3 days of stay.
