“Well if you like pictures and not being comfortable this is for you. On my arrival everything looked perfect but the bed was hard very uncomfortable to sleep in. The WiFi was just not working at all and if I did it disconnected 30 minutes later. They only want your cash I didn’t stay here one night i left and mind you I booked for 2 weeks asked for a refund and was told no I even explained that I’m a construction worker from out of state and the home was not what I expected at all!!! The place looked clean that’s about it the neighborhood also felt weird ppl kept looking out the window staring while I was moving my things in. So this place is not so private and they have strict rules for a bnb and for a city that allows you smoke weed but this unit won’t even let you smoke outside nor in your own car on this property it’s not worth it !”

“I told them that their toilet flush is not working properly its slow. But no one came to fix it”

“The Tibbs place was nice and clean. A little smaller than I thought. The loft is only for a couple small children. The Murphy bed is what you will be sleeping on. It was comfortable enough, it folds down in the main area, but, you have to fold the table down to fold the bed down. The river nearby was nice. The springs were unique. Be prepared, it's definitely organic. You have to be sure footed, there is slippery algae everywhere. But maybe you will like it. There was construction on a house nearby. Though the owner let us know, we didnt realize they would block us in in the morning. The trucks parked right behind us. It's a narrow dirt road. There was no way to get out unless we went and talked to the workers. We got in our car and started to back out, they ended up moving. Because of checking out 20 min late, we were told we had to pay $45 fee. Not very fair. There is not great cell service there. We wouldn't be able to reach the host. Kind of soured our experience.”

“All in all, the place was not worth the $747 I paid. 1st- Jill is a bit misleading with the description. It's being sold as a quiet, peaceful retreat, but they are building a house 500' from the tiny house. Jill did tell me about it after I had already booked & paid. That being said, the noise didn't really bother us. 2nd- Last Chance Rd doesn't exist any more. It's Goose Creek Rd now, so we had trouble trying to find a non existent road. 3rd- the hot spring is kinda gross. Algae is all over the bottom & sides, floating in the water. FYI. 4th- the murphy bed was hard to get down, we were afraid we'd break it. Very flimsy. So we left the bed down, which we were unable to use the table bc the bed & table occupy the same space. Last, the driveway is steep with no way to turn around. We did it once, after that we parked at the bottom of the hill. I'm sorry Jill, I really wanted to love your place but wound up feeling a bit ripped off. Definitely not a 5 star place.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the excellent location, quiet neighborhood, strong A/C, and the convenience of having two homes on the same street for our large group. However, several issues affected our experience. There were no linens or blankets for the sofa beds, and despite the host promising additional towels and blankets, they never arrived, forcing us to buy our own. The homes also need a deeper cleaning, with cobwebs, stained décor, and rushed paint repairs noticeable throughout. Kitchen cookware was limited, worn out, and inadequate for a large group. Furnishings, mattresses, and bedding felt inexpensive for the nightly rate. We also found the trash access inconvenient and noticed missing basics like a bathroom trash can. With better housekeeping, updated furnishings, and improved maintenance, this property could better match its price and potential.”

“The place was dingy. Carpet old and dingy. Had not been cleaned well and I asked for our money back for the rest of our stay. Host sounded very generic when she slowly responded. Very steep stairs and the bedrooms were upstairs and the air did not work. Nice big space but not clean feeling at all. A plastic glove and cobwebbed dirty entry way met us as we entered the back door. Do not recommend.”

“He assisted us in solving problems with the dishwasher and the blender that was not there, but from the beginning he did not want to be accessible with me in an inconvenience of guests and when we wanted to stay longer he told us that it was time to leave when he was sent a message that if we could stay a little longer since my flights are very late. Not very accessible”

“Four couples with years of rental, Airbnb ownership stayed in 2 units. Units offered convenient sleeping location, but overall lacking. Bedrooms: Good mattresses but broken lamps, no dresser for cloths, no headboards/footboards. Kitchen: Pans not usable (warped), fridges ok, but dated no water/ice, mismatched/missing kitchen bowls, pans, measuring cups, etc., appeared to be mostly from Goodwill. Garage: stored old carpet, paint cans, dirty, broken/missing garage door openers. Backyard: mostly weeds/dirt, not maintained, no outside furniture, not usable. Bathrooms: usable but dirty baseboards, wet shower mat hung over tub in one unit. Living room: mismatched furniture, futon for a couch, holes in wall from old TV, section of floor replaced haphazardly, carpet old/stained. Overall: This owner/mgr have 19 short term rentals. They should not be in the Airbnb business without reconsidering how they run their business. I would ask if they would enjoy staying here if they were the guests?”

“Horrible experience. Left after one night and only stayed that night bc it was late. House was dirty and there was a hole in the bathroom wall where tile was caving in. Hot tub did not work, as in it would not heat up. There was not a single smoke detector in the house despite listing stating there were. There were cobwebs on the ceilings. Would not recommend.”

“There were dirty shorts from a previous stay on one of the window sills. The lawn at both homes were over 2 feet tall so my son couldn’t play, we went inside to play and used dog bones and food were pulled out from under the couch from my son trying to retrieve his ball. The grill had old food in it as well as a bunch of spider webs. We were told we couldn’t get 30% refund for the issues after spending 80% of our time already in the homes. We travel alot and worse experience yet.”
