My Perfect Stays

My Perfect Stays's guest rating of 4.73 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Very nice place but very cramped for 4 people. Once the sofa bed is opened there isn’t really space for anything else. Was also very difficult to navigate keeping the place clean from wet and sandy stuff. No place to hang or keep wet stuff.”airbnb

“We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this Airbnb to others. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. We especially appreciated how close it was to the beach and enjoyed spending time at the pool. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to many local attractions, restaurants, and shops. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we would definitely choose it again on a future visit!”airbnb

“Our unit was spacious with a beautiful view, but we were disappointed not to be told before arrival that the split A/C was broken and portable units would be used. The bedroom portable A/C did not cool well, and because of the hose the shade could not fully close, leaving little privacy. We also found small beetle-like bugs each morning in the sinks or on the floor. The property itself is well maintained, and the groundskeeper was friendly, hardworking, and professional. We appreciated that he allowed us to use the BBQ grills for our Little League team and explained the rules. However, some permanent residents made us feel unwelcome, and the atmosphere did not feel family-friendly. On our last night, our kids were treated as if they were causing trouble even though they followed the pool rules and were out by 8:20 p.m. Overall, the views are great, but families should know this may not be the right fit.”airbnb

“Overall the unit was workable and well equipped, and the view was accurate. But there was a temporary floor AC unit in the living room because that minisplit was broken, but it wasn't mentioned on the listing. It turned out the bedroom mini split AC unit was also broken, and there was no temporary. When I contacted "the team," they couldn't really provide me with answers; it was like an answering service and all they could do was "contact the local team" for the next ~4 hours. I asked if they could provide a temporary (they're for sale at hardware stores nearby for US$300). They could not provide a temporary or an alternative. Eventually we asked for a refund and didn't stay there, as we expected and paid for a listing with AC and the main bedroom was simply too hot. I'm sorry it didn't work out.”airbnb

“We had a terrible experience here and stayed for a couple of hours before checking out due to safety, we paid for 7 nights and respectfully requested 1-2 nights back which they refused. Do not recommend. Unit had ants, complex looked like a jail , pool was the size of a bathtub with a rusty gate and chairs, patio wasn’t remotely private and beach features a homeless camp. Not safe.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, we experienced a significant roach issue during our stay. Multiple roaches were observed throughout the unit, and there were numerous roach bait stations already in place. While management attempted remediation, the problem persisted. Based on our experience, we would not stay here again.”airbnb

“We booked our condo so that we could celebrate our wedding day on Maui. For the two nights prior to our wedding day, we were awakened at 4:40 am by a stream of water hitting our open bedroom louvered window and sliding door, waking us up and drenching our patio. We were unable to utilize the patio until sometime around midday, after the chair cushions and floor coverings eventually dried out. We used the Airbnb app several times during our stay to communicate our concerns with the “my perfect stays team”, and while we received prompt email responses saying that Maintenance had been notified, after three days, the issue had not been resolved. This is especially disappointing because when the issue first occurred, I let the team know via the Airbnb app that this was our wedding stay, and would appreciate being able to sleep in past 4:40 AM. I would’ve preferred if the team had gotten back to us and said that nothing could be done… then at least we could’ve made other arrangements.”airbnb

“The Condo is situated in an area we really enjoyed. Every morning I strolled down to Bad Ass Coffee which is adjacent a good bakery for those who enjoy that. Folks out on the road were friendly and almost always said good morning. A great vibe. You can walk straight out from Condo to the pool, which is adjacent the beach which is visited by many turtles. A mid April visit and we saw whales in the distance and a Hawaiian monk seal happened by in the water. Unfortunately at the time we were there, the condo had an unacceptable infestation of cockroaches and we stopped using the kitchen as a result. I've never complained about an airbnb before but this was too much. If they get that under control, then it would be a great place to stay.”airbnb
