Manager Review

MTM Premier Property Management

MTM Premier Property Management's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

This review is not reflective of the owner or the property but of the property management company—unless the property management company owns the property. In order of items of annoyance: 1 - All the emails. You’re going to get emailed multiple times prior to the stay, during the stay, and oh my goodness prior to the checkout. Everything they feel they need to communicate will be placed in a separate email for each item. Probably automated, but needs fixed. Why can’t they just message through the app like every other Airbnb does? 2 - Requiring IDs for check in. This is something we already do for AirBnb. So to request IDs on a 3rd party site, is a breach privacy and simply not safe. 3 - 70 Decibels!!! This is a rule that’s not on the listing but will be emailed to you. If you’re louder than 70 decibels. Here is a list of things about 70 decibels: •Vacuum •hair dryer •Washing Machine •a running shower •A car interior while driving at high way speed. There’s more. But you get it.

Good getaway place. The bathroom is a bit small as well as the second bedroom, but doable for a night or two. Chores include taking out the trash and cleaning the dishes which is odd since we are charged a cleaning fee. Wouldn’t come again but not bad.

We understood we were booking a cabin in a campground. The issue wasn’t the campground, it was that the main listing and photos created the impression of a quiet, peaceful setting. When we arrived, the cabin was immediately adjacent to an interstate and active train tracks. 3 trains went by in 15 minutes. There was a man tweaking walking down the road. Your view is a dirty pond and old campers with tarps on them. This place is more low income permanent housing than a campground. I’ve stayed at plenty campgrounds before and never felt uncomfortable. We left within approximately 15 minutes because the actual environment was dramatically different from what the listing led us to expect. Between the railroad track noise and the interstate and the barking dogs running up to ours….we felt very uneasy at this place. It is not a place I would ever spend the night.

Our time here was pretty good. We enjoyed the hot tub the most. One of the better looking houses in an otherwise fairly rundown neighborhood. We noticed an odd smell when we arrived which seemed to fade after an hour or two of the windows being open. The downstairs sleeping accommodations were very noisy. We heard every creaky floorboard and rush of water through the pipes that happened throughout the night. Overall, an adequate housing option, not super far driving distance from the beach.

Good property and excellent beach equipment choices, just wish it was a bit cleaner when we got to the house

The patio view was beautiful and the pool was fun! The property management team was very responsive, but had more than usually papers to fill and sign. The place needs renovation especially the kitchen and the flooring (nails poking out). It doesn’t have some of the usual airbnb items, no coffee machine, extra paper towels, toilet paper, pool towels, or basic kitchen needs like salt, pepper, and sugar. The shared bathroom’s lock was not working (big inconvenience for a big group), the bed sizes aren’t as listed. The beach near by was very nice and the kids enjoyed it.

The house is inhabited by the owner and they did not take any of their belongings out of the way for us. We had no closets or dressers to put our belongings in. Even the bedside table had the owners stuff in it. The kitchen was filthy. The washing machine smelled of mold and the kitchen appliances were filthy. The place smelled like it had t been cleaned in ages. The bathroom was filled with thr ow era items including a dirty razor and tooth brush. Super disappointing and I hope they fix these problems before they list the property again. We had planned on staying 4 nights and hardly stayed 12 hours. It was inhabitable it my opinion.

Albeit the lodging was nice and as advertised, there was an attempted break-in. While the management company was accessible, they were dismissive of my concerns over safety. The local law authorities were contacted, but the management company did not do much to appease my angst. A handyman did come to fix the broken locks, but I was told that the METAL locks and latches were broken by wind and natural disasters.
