“Awesome infrared sauna, hot tub, and steam room! Excellent books, games, kitchen, and peaceful backyard. Very comfortable! My only suggestions would be Kleenex, an end table for the chair on the right, and updated blinds and paint for the tobacco smell. Otherwise, one of the best places around FoCo! It was just so serene and felt calming!”

“There are many wonderful things about the home- it's situated within easy walking distance to old town, was clean, nice backyard. However the communication with the host was bizarre - I asked for extra towels and was told there were 9 towels sets for the max of 9 guests (there were only four of us). When I reported there were only two towels in the bathroom I was told to check the towel rods. With searching I was able to find extras, but there actually weren't 9 full sets that we could find anyway. We looked up the management and they manage over 100 properties and I wondered if I had gotten chat bot responses because of how rude and strange it was. It made me concerned about how anything would be received and discouraged me from reaching out again. Everything else about our stay was fairly pleasant, although it won't have the cozy touches Airbnbs often have. Scratchy towels and horrible toilet paper, no Kleenex, but very clean and pleasant otherwise.”

“Loved our stay here! The perfect location and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the backyard and the front porch was a real treat. We accidentally left a valuable item behind, realized it two hours after check out, and were unable to get it back, so that’s why we can’t give it 5 stars (a hotel definitely would have given it back, especially just two hours after check out), but we would recommend this stay to anyone.”

“This home is HORRIBLE! NOT CLEANED AT ALL, SPIDER WEBS EVERYWHERE, stains on the carpet very dirty and dusty. The house smells very unpleasant. Messaged the home owner and no big help called the number they provide you with and all they said was we will be in touch with you shortly to resolve issue and no response back. The home is an older home understanding cracks here and there but the home is in BAD SHAPE OVERALL. NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES NOR THE DESCRIPTION!”

“The trash was very disheartening as we told the owner that there was trash all over the front yard and driveway when we arrived. It wasn’t our trash. We were picking it up and noticed used condoms so it just was not hygienically safe in my opinion to continue to pick up the trash. There was a bear in the area. I told the owner all of this and nothing happened. Nothing but automated AI replies for the price, they treat this very business like and not like a place they take pride in or they would have had someone out quickly to pick up the trash not leave it the entire stay all over the yard and driveway. Unfortunate.”

“Please note they charge a $35 a day fee for hot tub usage on top of their $500 a night rate. It is notated in the original listing but not in the house rules or confirmation so once you book it, it will be hard to find the additional fee listed and may come as a surprise. This location is NOT close to the lake as advertised, and does not disclose that the lake has been closed for swimming and water activities unless you have private lake access, which this location does not. Also, there is an additional charge for pets per night, but the pets cannot be on furniture, must be leashed in their fenced yard, and cannot be left unattended in the home for any reason. The neighborhood is also rough, with disreputable characters about at night. Lastly, we had taken the bikes around the neighborhood and one of the neighbors called me a “spick in the neighborhood” and that racism ultimately made me feel unsafe and couldn’t stay. Stacey refused to give me my refund after expressing safety concerns”

“The outside area was nice and we enjoyed relaxing there. The house was good for accommodations for our family. The issues we had were a storm door locked us in because of a malfunctioning lock. We had to call somebody to come fix it. Their response time was not quick so we could not leave due to that being the door with the padlock. The upstairs stays very warm even when you drop the temperature. The light and fan in the downstairs bedroom never worked. Also they need to add a full length mirror somewhere in the house. Overall it’s a nice place and area even with the few issues.”

“The listing claims lake life, lake access, and a lake view. It does not provide any of these things. The house is across the street from the lake, but only houses on the lake itself have access. In my message chain with the host, she said that there was a private dock. There is no dock nor any access. The house sleeps 12, but there were only 7 chairs in the whole house and 2 barstools. There were only 10 forks. It says that there is children's dinnerware and children's books and toys, but there were no toys or books or dinnerware for the kids inside the house. It claims there are two full baths, but the bathroom for the children didn't have a tub stopper so that they could take a bath. There were no extra towels, so we were doing laundry every day. The touch surfaces of the home were clean, but the vents were filthy, the doors near the handles were dirty, the corners of the floor were not clean, and there was popcorn left over from the last guests under the couch.”

“Do not stay at this house or with this host at Mountain Time vacation rentals. We are locals who needed a place to stay during our move. The house was dirty upon entering, dog hair, left over dog treats in several rooms, orange goo under the trash on the floor and hair in the bathroom. But that's not the worst of it the house is infested with earwig bugs. As a local I know earwigs are not a typical pest and are attracted to moisture. They were constantly in the house at night in our bags, in our dogs food bowl, on the walls, in the shower, & the porch had probably 50 of them at night which means an infestation. The owner even told me that home was 'recently remodeled' which means they didn't mitigate properly. We left early after 3 days due to the bug problem & our kids being freaked out. The host sent a 'technician' to investigate while we left & he even sprayed which is acknowledging a problem. Even with several photos the host refused to refund any of our stay. Horrible company.”

“I forgot clothes there and told them the day after. They said they cleaned and didn’t find them! I told them where to look because I knew where I left them. They said they weren’t cleaning for a few days! I checked back on the 14th and they said they didn’t find them! Either the host took them or they didn’t clean good after us and the other guests after us took my clothes. These are important and expensive custom clothes that had my name on it!”
