“We felt like being the project managers of the necessary maintenance of the house. The AC was broken, pool beds were broken, bath rooms were stinking. Everything was settled during our stay but kept us busy the first days. A five star house is ready and well maintained to host guests. The house itself is very spacious with a lot of living space and well equipped bedrooms. The pool is deep and nice for kids to play in. Location is also good. Quiet neighborhood and good to explore LA from.”

“This property could become an amazing place if it was updated and professionally maintained. There were a lot of things neglected, like a few doorknobs were broken, front door could be more secure. Spiderwebs all over the place, shutters should be replaced because they are discolored. Holes in the flooring, missing thresholds on the floors, stovetop was extremely dirty. It is a nice place and had adequate space but definitely needs to be updated and an extreme cleaning.”

“The view of the city was great but the house was very dirty and very poorly managed/maintained. It was not worth the price I paid. - floors were absolutely filthy. Soles of my feet were dark after an hour - most things in the house had a coat of dust all over them - all windows were white residue dirty - gas stove would not light (had to use a lighter each time) - broken appliances (coffee maker, microwave carousel) - dirty kitchen utensils in disorganized, unthoughtful manner - cabinet shelf surfaces were oily and dirty - AC didn't maintain consistent temp, swung wildly - missing things all around the house - broken security system that beeped unceasingly - one sink didn't have cold water - one shower didn't drain water very well and pooled”

“Very disappointed with this stay. We experienced repeated electrical problems that made our stay extremely uncomfortable. The master bedroom lost power, the outlets kept turning on and off, and we were unable to sleep there. We ended up spending the night in the living room because of the ongoing issues. Although the host responded after we reported the problem, the disruption had already ruined our night. We requested compensation for the inconvenience and lack of sleep, but our request was denied. I understand that unexpected issues can happen, but I expected more accountability and better customer service given the circumstances. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet our expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again.”

“Me and a group of friends come from Fresno ca, we booked this air bnb thinking the best of it from looking at the reviews. I notified the host the time of arrival and asked if we’re able to check in at that exact time they said yes and agreed to us checking in at the time I had notified them. We arrived to the place the lockbox was already opened and no key in there, contacted the host they said they would give us the instructions once they received 2 emergency contacts so I proceeded with that, they had us waiting outside in the middle of the night mind you I had my baby with me. The host said to give a few minutes and they’d instruct us. The instructions never came through there was no communication at all, called and called til we eventually got tired of it, waited almost 2 hours just to find out people were already staying there, so we had to look for a hotel and pay extra. The stay was 310 & I have yet to get a response nor my money back. The worst experience ever.”

“We booked this Airbnb for 13 people for 8 nights. Although some issues were addressed after we reported them, many essentials and basic cleanliness standards were missing at check-in, which was disappointing for a group our size. Only 8 bath towels were provided for 13 guests. The kitchen was poorly stocked—just 6 coffee mugs, no spoons, 1 kitchen towel, 1 extra paper towel roll, and 1 extra trash bag. Cleanliness was also a concern: cutlery and utensils were not properly cleaned, there were spider webs in the kitchen window, and the microwave was dirty and smelled bad. The gas chimney wasn’t working, and the stove area was unclean. Closets were dusty, insinkrator didn’t work, although 2–3 air mattress, only 1 was provided and was unusable. The upstairs bathtub was clogged and the sink was leaking. These basic items and maintenance issues should be resolved before guest arrival. Better preparation, thorough cleaning, proper maintenance checks, would provided better experience.”

“When we arrived at the home it was HOT . . . the air conditioning wasn't working. We had a sleepless night tossing and turning. They came and repaired everything the next day. When we nicely asked for a refund for the first night they only granted 20% off of one night. We did not think this was fair.”

“Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. The space was extremely cramped and did not feel properly maintained. Several items were dirty when I arrived, including the towels and dishes, and the towel rack was falling off the wall. The fridge also did not freeze properly, which caused some of my food to spoil during the stay. Communication was very difficult throughout the stay as well. After I lost the key, I was locked out for over 12 hours before being let back in. Even after the door was opened, I still was not provided with a replacement key for several more hours, which made the situation very stressful and inconvenient. Overall, I would not stay here again.”
