Margaritaville Cottages Orlando

Margaritaville Cottages Orlando's guest rating of 4.54 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“We had an excellent time. Loved our cottage. Very spacious and clean. Perfect for our family of 4. Shuttle was a great perk and we used it often. Pools and water park were highlights! The sunset walk had amazing restaurants. Can’t wait to vacation here again!!”airbnb

“The floors were very dirty and could feel sandy when walking around. The curtain blinds were all ripped and had wholes in them. The table was stained and had missing wood in it. Did not have all the kitchen utensils/items as described. When I requested assistance I was ignored and no compensation was done. I will never stay here again due to management and false advertising.”airbnb

“I have been staying at these cottages since they first opened. This was truly a terrible experience. Apparently they have smart thermostats and they control the air-conditioning. They have all thermostats locked at 70°. The problem is they do not use sensors in other rooms so only the room in which the thermostat is in reaches 70°. The upstairs what’s always considerably warm. The downstairs bedroom which had two double doors leading to the patio was very hot. For some reason, the air conditioning would reset itself and turn off. During my stay, I had to call maintenance twice and they seemed so annoyed and frustrated. I had to tell one of the maintenance people as much as you’re annoyed, imagine me, I’m on vacation. Something has happened to this place. It is such a nice resort, but unfortunately has poor management. The decisions being made here are going to end up hurting this place. There are too many resorts in Orlando to feel so uncomfortable while on vacation.”airbnb

“We enjoyed parts of our stay, but being without air conditioning for 3 days definitely impacted the experience. The most frustrating part was repeatedly being told someone would come right over, but nobody ever showed up. We understand maintenance issues happen, but better communication and follow-through would have made a big difference.”airbnb

“I got this home because of the location. It’s a great spot to get around. The cottage Itself was not as clean as I expected. Did not feel very relaxing or comfortable during our stay. Really expected it to feel more pleasant but it was not well furnished or cleaned. The resort itself is very beautiful.”airbnb

“The Neighbourhood of cottages was beautiful. The cottage design was well thought out, and the furnishing and rooms were well laid out. Plenty of room for a family of four, very comfortable. The requirements upon departure were easy. However, it was very dusty, a bit dirty, the floors were filthy. We needed to wear footwear, and there were hairs in the bathroom, perhaps from not being occupied and cleaned recently. Kitchen items dirty, missing scissors. Etc. The was dryer knob was partially broken and the washing machine had a terrible odor, even after running a clean cycle. The doorbell malfunctioned and acted as an alarm sounding off in the middle of the night. In the afternoon the pool area was cluttered with garbage. Not until arrival did we learn a car or shuttle was needed to reach the front desk, pool area and waterpark. We were unable to reach assistance arranging a shuttle and had to pay for parking at the waterpark.”airbnb

“Has potential if they deep clean the place, add additional seating and reprise the amenities they advertise.”airbnb

“Our stay at Margaritaville Resort Orlando Cottages had some positives, but overall fell short of expectations. The cottage itself could have been cleaner, there were crumbs and noticeable clumps of hair when we arrived, which was disappointing. The location of our unit was also quite noisy due to a busy road directly behind the house. The resort amenities were appealing in theory, but in practice, it was difficult to fully enjoy them. The pool area was overcrowded, making it hard to find seating at times. We specifically chose to book through the resort (at a higher price) because it included waterpark access and other amenities. Unfortunately, due to poor weather, we weren’t able to take advantage of those perks. While we understand the weather is out of the resort’s control, it was still frustrating to pay extra for benefits we couldn’t use, and some type of accommodation or flexibility would have been appreciated.”airbnb

“We were at 8053 lost shaker lane. The cottage was not as clean as it should be. Also things were broken. Mine and my husband’s bed was broke. My son’s bedroom door did not latch. Broken chair at dining room table. My other son’s Tv Was broken. I messaged front desk which is on record on this app with no response. We will not be staying here again.”airbnb

“We rented a cottage with a hot tub for my son’s birthday. When we arrived the hot tub was empty and it took 1 1/2 days to fix. We asked several times for extra towels and never received them. A little run down and there is barely anything in these cottages! I have stayed here before and had a great experience but this time you could tell it’s not like it use to be. The restaurant food was horrible at Euphoria but it was great at the Salty Run by the pool!”airbnb
