Magicway Villas

Magicway Villas's guest rating of 4.71 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

3/5 Stars The house itself is beautiful and the location was great, but unfortunately there were several issues that made the stay less enjoyable, especially considering the premium price we paid. The oven was not working, which was a major inconvenience because we had kids to feed and had already purchased food that needed to be cooked in the oven. The pool light was also broken, making it unsafe to swim at night. On top of that, we were not made aware ahead of time that there was an additional fee to use the pool and spa heater. I feel that this should have been clearly disclosed in the listing, especially given the price of the stay. Overall, the house and location have a lot going for them, but these issues should be addressed and communicated more clearly to future guests. They tried to fix our problems but they couldn’t before the time we checked out. So my family and I were a little disappointed.

Terrible experience. I would not recommend staying here. Multiple people in our group, including our children, were covered in bites from bed bugs during our stay. The most upsetting part was that our 2-year-old son’s bites became so severe that they got infected, and we had to take him to the ER. He was prescribed antibiotics because of the infection. This was extremely stressful and completely unacceptable, especially when traveling with young children. No family should have to worry about their children being bitten throughout the night or needing medical treatment because of the condition of a rental. We expected a clean, safe, and sanitary place to stay, and unfortunately, that was not our experience at all. I would strongly caution other families before booking this property.

The member of the host team that called me was extremely rude about me having a service dog. This made our whole stay uncomfortable. I did love the location and how easy it was to walk to Disneyland.

I'll start with the positives. The location was great for Disneyland, about a 15-minute walk to the parks. The downstairs area was clean, well-maintained, and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Unfortunately, the upstairs was a different story. The carpets and rugs were noticeably dirty, and the rug in the bunk room appeared to be nothing more than a dirty blanket laid on the floor. There was mold present in the showers, and the shower curtain rod in the hallway bathroom was barely attached. Another major issue was the air conditioning. It did not cool the upstairs effectively, and the bedrooms, especially the master bedroom, were uncomfortably warm. On our first night, a persistent chirping noise started in the master bedroom wall. We called maintenance, and they responded quickly, which we appreciated. However, the technician was unable to identify the source of the noise. After consulting with his supervisor, they suggested it could be a small animal, possibly even a

Our stay at MagicwayVilla was okay, but I would probably choose a different place next time. The home is spacious and comfortably fit our group of 15, and the neighborhood was quiet, clean, and great for the kids. The location was a huge plus—we were less than 10 minutes from the Disney parks. The biggest downside was the number of house rules. While I understand the need to protect the property, the parking rules were confusing, and fitting two cars in the garage wasn't realistic. The $1,000 fine mentioned for extra driveway parking also felt stressful. The quiet hours (9:30 p.m.–9:00 a.m.) made it difficult to relax with a large family, as we were worried about accidentally breaking the rules. If you're comfortable with the restrictions, it's a good home in a great location. For our family, though, the rules made the stay more stressful than enjoyable.

Only disappointment was the fees to warm the hot tub. You’d think it would’ve been included with the rental as it was the main commodity in the advertisement. I didn’t notice in the ad that there would be a separate charge but you had to find it and it didn’t specify the amount per day. The hot tub was the very main reason we chose this house and was sort of blind sided after the purchase.

The place matched what it’s in online. The only thing that I thought was extreme was the rules. This house is only for people that are just looking to sleep after a Disney trip you’re not allowed outside after 9:30 to enjoy the pool was dirty and cold.

Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Smaller than expected though and would have been nice to at least have some coffee/sugar. Used the garage to to store our bags which was nice but when we opened it cockroaches scattered. Lastly, our walk to Disneyland was 24 minutes on average everyday. We specifically got this place because we had young kids and elders and it stated it was a 10 minute walk. It definitely wasn’t. Overall, I give it 3 stars.

House is old had some kind of old home smell. In one of the bedroom found simi dead cockroach which I had to pick up and throw it outside. one bathroom stand alone shower had very low water pressure took longer to shower. Another bathroom shower facets was hard to turn. Water heater stop working while giving shower to kids that was painful, kids crying due to cold water. You can not park two cars inside the garage as they say because they put L shape sofa set inside. Garage code was not provided in initial instructions. You can't park additional cars in driveway or on street in front of the house. Sofa's in living room had some kind of sweat smell. Jacuzzi in backyard did not work, kids were bombed about that. some walls have furniture stain markings. Beds frames were making noise every time you turn while lying down. Stand alone shower is very small with very low water pressure from shower head. Would not stay there again or recommend
