4.18
Lark's guest rating of 4.18 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION! This is a motel room with a fresh coat of paint on it, you are on the first floor with a window that faces the parking lot, and from that window you will have a lovely view of homeless men defecating 20ft away from your parked car. You will have trouble being allowed into the unit because the people outside the door who are smoking pot will ask that you pay them for the privilege to enter, and if you get inside they will stay outside your door and try to look inside of your room from that window placed perfectly at eye level. There is no hangers to hang clothes, no furniture to store clothes, above and around you are other units with incredibly loud individuals so sleeping or working in this unit is out of the question. And finally when you contact the host with these concerns and let them know that you are feel unsafe staying here, they will let you know that your safety is not their concern and not something agreed on. DO NOT BOOK THIS UNIT.

My daughter stayed here for 3 months while working at an internship in Colorado Springs. The location was walkable to coffee shops and downtown! And convenient to so much. We had a little trouble communicating with the mgmt company at the beginning. But not enough to reduce the overall experience!! We would definitely stay with this group again!

I stayed here for a two-month reservation during the summer and while it wasnt a vad location or place I was still disappointed The biggest problem was that there was no in-unit air conditioning when I arrived. During the summer in Colorado Springs, that made the unit very uncomfortable. I contacted the host right away, but it took several days before a window A/C unit was installed. Even after the installation, and with a fan running, the indoor temperature still stayed around 80°F, so it was never really comfortable. I wouldn't recommend staying here during the summer but id you do being extra fans so youre not suffering from a heat stroke I also found out the place had a mice problem towards the end.

Nice interior with a clean bathroom and fully stocked kitchen. Unfortunately, the bed was a pain due to the boards underneath not being properly screwed down, the backup linens were stained, and the on-site laundry wasn’t available. We made frequent trips to the laundromat nearby. The area outside also felt very unsafe due to daily dumpster diving and apparent drug activity around said dumpsters. Overall, it was okay, but these issues made our stay less enjoyable.

Great location if you’re a traveler at the hospital. Communication could’ve been better but I believe staff has changed recently. Some days I got an immediate response, some days I didn’t get one at all. The building itself is old and could use some repairs and better upkeep but overall was fine for short term housing

Overall stay- good. Amazing location, walkable to the lake and restaurants. Stayed for two months, but a few things to note. The house does not have central AC but has window units so can get a little warm. Response rate is low. We had a few issues in the beginning of our stay with the electricity and the shower but took 48 hours to a week to get fixed.

Honestly, we had a terrible experience here. We lived here for 3 months and would have left as soon as we possibly could but could not get out of our agreement or afford to change places. There were too many bad experiences to name, but the living conditions were unsafe and miserable with terrible communication from management. I've always enjoyed staying at Airbnb places, this was the first experience that made me rethink staying in them altogether. For just one example, when we arrived to our apartment there were extremely strong odors of cigarette smoke and pet urine. Upon further inspection, there were puddles of dried urine, uncleaned feces on the couch and smeared all over the walls, and trash all over. Lark and Co then tried to pin all of these issues on us and our pets even though we reported immediately upon getting in. We spoke on the phone relentlessly with Airbnb and they refused to get us other lodging. Lark eventually switched us to the unit next door, still terrible.

This has been the WORST Airbnb experience I have ever had. I should have realized this is just another negligent management company that puts profits over good business practices. Arrived at the unit to find that though “free parking” was advertised- free parking is only for 2 hours at a time, or you can pay for a permit. I unlocked the unit and was met with the smell of dog - The furniture in the unit did not match what was advertised, the lamp shown in the pictures in the living room was no where to be found and the living and kitchen areas were very dark - After pulling out a flashlight I discovered that there were LARGE dog pee stains on the rugs. The bed was broken and the host refused to fix or replace the bed. Neighbors would get drunk and fight until the cops came. laundry room is dirty - the code didn’t work - the host said she didn’t need to deal with the complaints and lied and said I personally insulted her - screenshots prove I never did anything of the sort.

The price was appropriate considering you have to provide your own soaps / toilet paper / dishwasher soap. We had only towel provided for a two month stay . Paid laundry room $5 to wash and dry. The location was noisy because of the hospital across the street. Homeless people dig through the shared dumpster. Dumpster was over full and trash accumulated for a while on two different occasions.Neighbors apt was broken into and our Christmas packages were stolen off our porch. They did have a slow response time . When we arrived we had to wait 2 hrs for someone to come unlock the unit bc the code didn’t work. Up side- the unit was clean. If your looking for something budget friendly it was and location was close to downtown , but not worth all the other issues we had. They do not offer military rates which was disappointing.
