Lark
4.10
Lark's guest rating of 4.10 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Great location if you’re a traveler at the hospital. Communication could’ve been better but I believe staff has changed recently. Some days I got an immediate response, some days I didn’t get one at all. The building itself is old and could use some repairs and better upkeep but overall was fine for short term housing”airbnb

“We loved our stay at the Baby Benton! We stayed for about six months, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The home is cozy and you have great restaurants, coffee shops, and bars all in walking distance. Everyone on the Lark team was super helpful and friendly. I’d highly recommend!”airbnb

“Host was very responsive to our needs during stay and extremely accommodating. Any issues we had were resolved and the space had everything me and my husband needed while we waited for our home to be ready. Decent bang for your buck and so much to do in the surrounding area. :)”airbnb

“Overall stay- good. Amazing location, walkable to the lake and restaurants. Stayed for two months, but a few things to note. The house does not have central AC but has window units so can get a little warm. Response rate is low. We had a few issues in the beginning of our stay with the electricity and the shower but took 48 hours to a week to get fixed.”airbnb

“Honestly, we had a terrible experience here. We lived here for 3 months and would have left as soon as we possibly could but could not get out of our agreement or afford to change places. There were too many bad experiences to name, but the living conditions were unsafe and miserable with terrible communication from management. I've always enjoyed staying at Airbnb places, this was the first experience that made me rethink staying in them altogether. For just one example, when we arrived to our apartment there were extremely strong odors of cigarette smoke and pet urine. Upon further inspection, there were puddles of dried urine, uncleaned feces on the couch and smeared all over the walls, and trash all over. Lark and Co then tried to pin all of these issues on us and our pets even though we reported immediately upon getting in. We spoke on the phone relentlessly with Airbnb and they refused to get us other lodging. Lark eventually switched us to the unit next door, still terrible.”airbnb

“Very cozy and much needed during a large life transition. I felt very safe and right at home in the neighborhood. There are SO many good restaurants, bars, shops, salons, a movie theater all within a 10-12min walking distance walking distance.”airbnb

“This has been the WORST Airbnb experience I have ever had. I should have realized this is just another negligent management company that puts profits over good business practices. Arrived at the unit to find that though “free parking” was advertised- free parking is only for 2 hours at a time, or you can pay for a permit. I unlocked the unit and was met with the smell of dog - The furniture in the unit did not match what was advertised, the lamp shown in the pictures in the living room was no where to be found and the living and kitchen areas were very dark - After pulling out a flashlight I discovered that there were LARGE dog pee stains on the rugs. The bed was broken and the host refused to fix or replace the bed. Neighbors would get drunk and fight until the cops came. laundry room is dirty - the code didn’t work - the host said she didn’t need to deal with the complaints and lied and said I personally insulted her - screenshots prove I never did anything of the sort.”airbnb

“The price was appropriate considering you have to provide your own soaps / toilet paper / dishwasher soap. We had only towel provided for a two month stay . Paid laundry room $5 to wash and dry. The location was noisy because of the hospital across the street. Homeless people dig through the shared dumpster. Dumpster was over full and trash accumulated for a while on two different occasions.Neighbors apt was broken into and our Christmas packages were stolen off our porch. They did have a slow response time . When we arrived we had to wait 2 hrs for someone to come unlock the unit bc the code didn’t work. Up side- the unit was clean. If your looking for something budget friendly it was and location was close to downtown , but not worth all the other issues we had. They do not offer military rates which was disappointing.”airbnb
