4.53Visit website
Landmark Vacation Homes's guest rating of 4.53 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Home was plenty big enough for 16-20 people. 4-5 cars only. Should be able to park in garage to help with parking instead of parking on the street to minimize traffic. Was not allowed to turn down thermostat below 72, which was a disappointment, especially with the entire home having zero ceiling fans in any of the bedrooms, so if you stay here bring or buy box fans! The pool was nice. Home and kitchen is nice. Also, not enough towels and wash clothes for large groups so bring your own. We were told no parties and no large crowds but multiple cars parked at peoples houses every night. Also, people sneak in at night behind you after using code for gate, should probably have security guards there every night. The club house area is nice. Fitness center should be open 24 hours at least. Club house food is good but expensive and they add 20% gratuity no matter what.”airbnb

“Very mediocre visit. No top sheets on majority of the beds, no hand towels, broken microwave and can opener. Cannot recommend this as a worth while option.”airbnb

“The place was as described and all the amenities were included. The hosts were responsive and the place was tidy. The only problem with our stay was a plumbing issue that started our first night and lasted until mid afternoon the second to last day. Usually I would not have taken away stars for a plumbing issue because things happen. However, a week after our stay we were sent a bill for the plumber. Seeing as the problem was the main drain line and not an issue inside the house it was a shock. At no time were we warned that we would have to pay for the plumbing. It is very upsetting that we are expected to pay extra money when we could not even use the bathrooms for a day and a half and we had to buy cleaning supplies to scrub sewage out of the showers, tubs, and kitchen sink after the plumber left.”airbnb

“Unfortunately, this stay did not meet expectations at all. We arrived to a home that was visibly unclean, with dirty walls, bugs inside the property, unclean bed linens, water issues in multiple bathrooms, and a hot tub that never got hot during the stay. Communication and response times from the host/team were also delayed throughout the trip, and despite multiple complaints, none of the issues were actually resolved before checkout. What was most frustrating was being asked to rearrange our plans and return early so cleaners could come after we had already checked in. As paying guests who booked in advance, the home should have been properly cleaned and prepared before arrival. The trip itself was still enjoyable because of the people we were with, but the condition of the property and overall customer service experience were disappointing and not worth the amount paid. I truly hope improvements are made for future guests.”airbnb

“While the house itself is nice and the host did address a broken refrigerator, we experienced serious safety and hygiene issues. There was a pest infestation in the upstairs bedroom that resulted in insect bites to my guest. Pests were entering through a large gap in the front door, and basic essentials like washcloths were missing. The house looks good, but the pest and safety issues were unacceptable.”airbnb

“House beautiful but filthy. I told them and sent pictures and I was not offered a discount or anything. I need to post the pictures”airbnb

“We stayed here over the holidays. Emily and Kevin were kind and responsive, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the home was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. Walls were stained and damaged, carpets had holes, stains, and a bad odor, and the couch was dirty, ripped, and broken. The listing was also misleading—there were no couches upstairs as shown. The furniture, especially the beds, were a disaster. Most were slanted, broken, and very noisy!! In one room the bed was only about 2 inches off the floor, which was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. There were also maintenance issues, including a broken pool screen and bedroom/bathroom doors that didn’t lock. Bathroom walls were stained, lighting was very dim, and there were barely any towels or hangers. Although the hosts responded, no real solution was provided. We ended up paying out-of-pocket for a deep cleaning, and they never followed up or sent their cleaning crew as promised. Overall, Very disappointing stay.”airbnb

“Arrived almost three hours after check in and the place was gross. No one had been there to clean from previous tenants but also the house itself needed repairs and a deep clean. The back door was broke and there was food and stuff on the walls. We drive from many states away and arrived in Easter. Had to cancel the reservation, which they gave refund , but then sit in a car for five hours to find a house to accommodate us. The only solution given was a refund never once anything else said. Neighbors also deals no one had been there in days so there was plenty of time to at least schedule cleaning before we arrived.”airbnb

“Our experience at this property was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, the house had a strong smell of fresh paint, and it was clear that recent touch-ups had been done on the walls. This was especially concerning since one of the guests was a baby, making the environment unsuitable and potentially unsafe. Additionally, the overall cleanliness was below expectations. The rugs did not appear clean, and several areas of the house showed a lack of proper maintenance. The photos in the listing did not accurately reflect the actual condition of the property — the bedroom decor was different, and some spaces did not match what was shown. Several advertised amenities were also missing or in poor condition. There were no cushions on the terrace, the rackets were broken, and the furniture in the movie/living room was damaged. There was no grill available, and the pool did not have lights, which made it difficult to use at night. Overall, the property it align with what was advertised.”airbnb
