“The rugs were dirty and stained. The towels were not clean at all. It had public hairs in it. My wife had to go buy us new towels and washcloths. The Mortal Kombat arcade game didn’t work at all. This area is a few blocks from the beach which is the safe side. But where this property is, there’s a lot of construction going on and it’s in a ghetto poor area. I did not feel safe with my $100,000 cars being parked there.”

“Our selection of this property was primarily influenced by its spaciousness and the availability of a pool. Upon arrival, we discovered that the adjacent property was undergoing extensive renovations. The construction activities commenced early each morning, significantly disrupting our ability to rest, particularly after a fourteen-hour journey. Another discrepancy concerned the advertised pool and hot tub; access to a heated pool required an additional daily charge of $100. Overall, the amenities provided were none existent. There was not even a dishrag for dishes and the experience did not meet our expectations. The host only relied back with a AI text and never resolved any of my issues with the property. I would not recommend this property or the host.”

“The place was beautiful and had everything you needed from beach towels to everything you need in the kitchen. Perfect for a small family. The pool was amazing and love all the sitting areas they had.”

“House was clean and comfortable. Great neighborhood. Pool was nice although the pavers around it need to be repaired. Inside the house was nice, few things need repairs. Overall good visit but overpriced for the state of the home.”

“Just a lovely spacious and comfortable rental. Soothing understated decor. However, and this is the Cleaning company's responsibility: Garbage bins filled. Bagged dog poop in yard beside house. Also had difficulty getting sign in code. Suggest another management company? The concierge was delightful and tried to help way beyond her assigned responsibilities. Overall a thoroughly pleasant stay. Please feel free to edit, but really think that Ellen James Mgmt Co should do a final walkthru before guests arrive to address any issues.”

“Great location, easy to find. Kitchen tools were still dirty. For a space for 10 guests, they did not provide enough dish soap or paper towels. Also, me and other guests woke up with itchy insect bites. I️ informed the owner and sent multiple images of the bites. Still waiting on a response from the owner about this.”

“Kitchen and pool were lovely. The host uses AI generated responses making it very difficult to communicate. Upstairs of the house took a long time to cool down to a comfortable level making the first night with infants challenging. Lastly, no window coverings in top floor bedroom and no window covering downstairs so major lack or privacy.”

“We had a small plumbing issue that took some time to get resolved. But other than that, the stay was great. Great house & location!”

“The house was not clean and it was very hot due to the unit being set on heat. It took a long time to get it cool. My son’s eyes got infected from sleeping on the linen on the bed and was unable to go to work. This house needs to be sanitized and exterminated . I took pictures of the dead insects that I saw in the house.”

“Absolutely terrible experience and one of the worst Airbnb stays we’ve had. The property was dirty on arrival with rubbish under the bed, stains throughout, and an overall lack of cleanliness. We had to ask the host to have it cleaned. The patio screen then fell onto my partner, which was a serious safety hazard. We reported it several times, but nothing was properly repaired. Instead, the screen was removed completely, meaning we couldn’t even open the patio doors without insects getting inside. We also found cockroaches in the property, which made us question the hygiene standards. The host was rude, dismissive, and showed no concern for our safety or comfort despite repeated messages. We lost confidence in staying there and had no choice but to involve Airbnb, who helped us terminate our stay a week early. The property is also very isolated, with lizards and iguanas constantly around the accommodation. I would strongly advise others to avoid booking this property.”
