“The property is in a very nice neighborhood. There was a party in the unit above us that went on all night long. Also, the unit could use a chair, there is no place to sit down, other than the bed.”

“Booked last minute to stay while visiting my son at Connecticut College. It was a great spot since we spent time in downtown Mystic both nights. We’d definitely stay here again!”

“Great spot for beach for young people. Building needs a lot of updating for the price.”

“Nice place. Smaller than we expected. The HVAC system made a lot of noise. Had a very musky smell every time we entered the unit. Bathroom was ok but the toilet seat was very loose. Water was leaking from shower head but that did not prevent use of the shower.”

“Great location, close to Mystic. Can’t beat the price for what you get. Needs a little “attention to detail”. For example; Rug needs to be cleaned, shower handle needs to be replaced, Nail in the wall to the left of the window. Guess a picture used to be there and there are holes in the wall above the window. Also, there was water coming out from under the refrigerator. Slow leak from refrigerator? Three out of the last four times I’ve stayed at that location. I’ve stayed in the Rossi. Was hoping that these details would be noticed and fixed. It’s the little details that get a 5 star rating.”

“Overall we were disappointed with the hospitality and the experience. My wife and I were traveling with our 1-year old daughter and trying to arrange a night stay on the shoreline with another couple and their 1-year old son. Needless to say, life with toddlers flips on a dime. Less than 24 hours after we booked the other couple alerted me to a scheduling conflict and needed to back out. I immediately asked if we could cancel, but was rejected by the host - so my wife and I had to shoulder the entire cost. Given the mere hours that I was booked, it is not as though I prevented someone else from booking. The hosts simply had leverage over me and exerted it. When we arrived two of the access streets were closed and a vehicle was in our parking spot. Inside, certain rooms smelled of smoke and the bathroom door lock mechanism was defective and literally locked me inside. I will not be renting again.”

“Great place and location. Only complaint was check in at 4:00pm is very late.”

“It was a beautiful spot, nice and quaint. The apt was clean and appeared as seen in the photos. No noise disturbances from neighbors. All in all worth the stay to be a 2 min walk from the beach! Only thing I’d recommend is a change in the bed. The bed creaked loudly with any movement or rolling over. Great place though for a short trip to the beach!”

“The location was great for what we wanted and the space had potential. However, communication could have been better—the host asked us to reach out the morning of check-in about early check-in, but didn’t respond until after check-in time. We also noticed mold around the shower window, and the automatic lock unexpectedly unlocked while we were inside, which was concerning. Overall, an okay stay, but there are some areas that could use improvement.”

“Difficult to get to the location, once there the condo had an overwhelming smell and was generally noisy. Couldn’t bring ourselves to stay the night.”
