“My family really enjoyed our stay here. It was the perfect spot for our group of six and we still could have accommodated more. My favorite part was the screened in-porch with a beautiful view. The kids loved cruising around in the golf carts. We loved that there were two so we could split up for different activities. My husband who’s a professional chef was impressed by the fully stocked kitchen. Lots of seasonings, pots, pans, and appliances to work with. We plan to make this an annual family trip!”

“This property is nestled in the woods with deer right next to us. Very private and relaxing. It’s a great location as it’s right down from the BHI Club, the beach and lots of streets to walk. The golf carts were a must for all of us so having three gave us all flexibility during the trip. Great set up!”

“Our stay was amazing! As other reviewers have noted, the beach is the biggest selling point. Just a few steps out the back door and you’re on the sand. Very private only one other family about 100 yards away in mid May. Only a few homes on that strip have direct access everyone else has to use public access, which is a ways down the beach. The house was clean and organized and the kitchen was very well stocked. Four of the bedrooms have king beds and a private bathroom. The fifth bedroom is just bunks with a shared bathroom. You can tell the house was one of the originals built in the 70s, slightly outdated and a little “weathered“ but it suited our family well especially for the price. There’s lots to do on the island.. we loved eating at Jules and Jailhouse Provisions. The 3 supplied golf cart were a blast and we also rented ebikes. Make sure you check out the wildlife overlook on Stede Bonnet Wynd. Overall, a great stay!”

“Very happy with our stay at Top Deck. Kitchen was very well equipped for our needs. Large TV's made movie watching very enjoyable. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms nicely updated. Our favorite part, however, was the outdoor spaces. We enjoyed our coffee on the lanai in the morning and our glasses of wine in the afternoon on the top deck. All the outdoor furniture was in great shape and clean. Would stay again.”

“Beautiful clean home. Communication with host was excellent. Ice maker gave out while we were there so we had to buy ice.”

“The place is great—clean, well-maintained, and very conveniently located close to the beach. It’s a good fit for a family of four, and we had a really enjoyable stay overall. A couple of areas could use some improvement. The beds and sofas feel a bit worn out and might be due for replacement, as they tend to sink when sitting or sleeping. Also, the bottom floor could benefit from some maintenance, especially the washer room doors and locks. That said, we truly had a great time here. With a few updates, this would easily be our go-to place every time we visit Carolina Beach.”

“A great location with an amazing view! A few things: I saw other reviews about a confusing check-in process and thought, nahh, I won’t have a problem. Well I did. It was confusing and impossible to find the code that was never actually sent. It cost us about 20-30 minutes after a long car ride with kids who just wanted to be there already. The unit has an AMAZING view but it is three flights up with no elevator. It was hard on my elderly mother to do more than one trip up and down a day. Just be aware before you book. There are some great restaurants and ice cream within walking distance, which is great. Lastly, parking is a bit annoying. If it is busy you will either be parked in or you will park in other guests. You leave your unit and number on your on your front windshield and you call people or get called if you/they need to get out. Everyone we dealt with was fine and decently responsive- but it could imagine it leading to some issues. Just be aware…”

“We made our booking last minute for a wedding weekend we were invited to on the island. At first the price stood out as i have paid much more for "hotel" experiences with half the value and luster of this home. Everything was clean, the home had everything that a visitor would need plus a whole lot more. We will be coming back to Bald Head Island for sure, and will be staying with ITrip NC Beaches for sure when we do so. I do not have a negative thing to say about the service, the property, or the attention to detail that went into getting this home in such beautiful shape for our visit. The only reason we may stay in a different property would be so that we could be on the water, as this happened to be on the golf course, which was awesome as well. Either way, we will be calling ITrip NC Beaches for our hospitality needs. Exceeded all expectations. Thank you for makingour "quicky trip" such a memorable one......
