“We enjoyed out stay on Isle of Palms. The house is in a fantastic location with just a two block walk to a beautiful and quiet section of the beach. The house had everything we needed (towels, beach chairs, well stocked kitchen). The outdoor shower was also a great feature. Some things to know - the downstairs living room is very small and the furniture is not very comfortable. We didn't find it to be a usable space. Also, the noise from the neighbors in the duplex is a lot. The folks renting the adjoining unit were very respectful and quiet and still we could hear word for word conversations through the wall. It was enough to wake us up in the mornings. The listing is very upfront about it being a duplex, but we were not expecting just how much this would actually impact our experience. Overall it was a lovely trip and a good rental.”

“House was just as described. Beds and linens were comfortable, house was decorated nicely and we had everything we needed. The house was stocked with plenty of linens and amenities. House and neighborhood were clean, pool was in a perfect location with easy to enter directions. Hosts were responsive, almost immediately, with any questions or concerns. If I’m ever in area again I would book this place without hesitation. Great find!”

“We were 5 adults and 2 teenagers. Everyone really enjoyed the house, including the dog. We love the location of the house, near the community center and park. It’s about a 10 min walk to the beach, not bad. The closest access was really nice as well. Admittedly, we drove to the beach to drop off all our stuff and were able to park there (easy during the off season). The house is beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked and had an awesome stove/oven. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the dog loved the yard and squirrel watching. The pool didn’t get used much. It’s a bit tiny for the 11 and 13 year old but would prob work great for adults who want to do more lounging. We had a couple senior citizens with us who found the stairs (into house and within) a bit intimidating at first but they did comment the stairs were not very deep so it was easier than expected. Highly recommend!”

“This condo was perfect for our family vacation. Very nice and all appliances/ electronics were upgraded! Very short walk/ close to the beach. Also very affordable compared to other rentals in the area. This place exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back!”

“I've been happily using AirBNB for 10 years. That streak ended with this booking. All the walls and trim were dirty. There was a large mold/mildew ring around the upstairs bathroom light. Water stains in the upstairs ceilings. Extensive mold, mildew and white fungal growth in the outdoor shower. Parts fell off of a ceiling fan when I used the pull chain. I have pictures of everything! I could go on but I will run out of allotted characters! The conditions were so disappointing that I contacted AirBNB and let them know I did not want to stay. They gave me two options, fulfill my stay and get about a $100 refund or leave the next day and get about 50% of my money back for staying 1 night of a 4 night trip. I did not find either option appealing. We did decide to stay and try to make the best of it. On our last night, the bathroom shower wouldn't turn off. We had to turn off the hot water heater so the shower wouldn't run full blast. It trickled cold water all night long!”
