“It is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Beds were comfortable, very roomy and the kitchen had everything you needed. Our family loved our time here. Would definitely stay again!”

“This is an absolutely terrific place to stay. The cottage is very nice, well-maintained, and the location absolutely cannot be beat. The beach and ocean are basically in the front yard of the house. This section of Folly Beach is very quiet and peaceful. This is the ideal location for a family of 4-5 who want a quiet beach vacation. We will definitely book this again.”

“The place was very spacious and well designed. Access to the beach was not very convenient. There is a 2.5 foot drop from the stair case and you can't see your footing at high tide. This made it very difficult for my elderly parents; they had to use someone's private access to return from the beach. The sheets were malodorous, but the breeze on the porch was divine. I would stay again, but I'd wash the sheets first. I think the upstairs has children running amuck because there was a bunch of stomping around in the evenings. If you go to the restaurant across the way by the pool, get the key lime pie. It was one of the best I've had. They have an executive pastry chef that makes every part from scratch. My parents loved the wings. I'm not much of a drinker, but I tried the piña colada and it was fantastic. Not far from the condo is a great seafood restaurant, The Salty Dog. Every dish we had was amazing. The portions were large, so you could probably feed 2 to 4 people from one dish.”

“We arrived for our 6 night summer vacation and checked into the home. Upon entering we felt it was warm inside and we checked the thermostats. Unfortunately, the upstairs thermostat was reading 89 degrees and the lower area thermostat was reading 77 degrees. We recognized multiple mobile AC units in the upstairs bedroom and in the living room. When we reached out to the host, we were given multiple instructions on how to diagnose the HVAC issue at hand. We have some knowledge, however we did not feel comfortable working on someones units. We requested they send a technician out to diagnose, but they did not. Though our stay was short, the hosts seemed to have little regard for our situation, and we had to find new accommodation at the last second. We did receive our refund after multiple attempts to contact the host and eventually being helped by AirBnB support. We hope this is a one off situation and does not reflect the hosts/owners mindset to running these short term rentals.”
