“The location is great. The beach in this area wasn't at all crowded. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable, but the rest was disappointing. The patio door in the primary bedroom whistled in the wind and the other one was difficult to open and close. The weather stripping was falling off the front door and the keypad wouldn't lock about half way through our stay. The microwave above the stove wasn't working so there was a small one on the countertop. There was water damage/mold on the ceiling above the microwave and also in the primary bathroom. I was also disappointed that there was no beach supplies. I've never been to an Airbnb or VRBO at the beach that didn't at least have beach chairs. I asked for an early check-in by 2 hours. I figured that since I knew they weren't booked the day before our stay (they offered me a discount to come a day early) it wouldn't be a problem, but they charged me $35. It wasn't horrible, but not the best either. Overall, I did enjoy my stay.”

“The chairs they have are completely not usable if you sit In them you’ll need a tetanus shot. The fridge went out and ruined $200 worth of groceries. We messaged they never came. Lucky for us my fiance was able to fix. It is small very small. The towels had make up all over them. They told us we couldn’t even be on property early which wasn’t so. You can the staff was happy to let you pay for your parking pass and come use the pool and beach. They offered zero help we had small kids and coming home 25 mins with tired kids with to no food and having to rush back to town and spend that money over was less than ideal. Will stay at kiva dunes again but not with this host.”

“Are hot water was turned off for some reason when we arrived. There was a lot of sand on the floor and under the couches. It was overall a pretty nice place and was a nice spot next to the beach. Did provide very many essentials and had to pay extra for parking.”

“Had to wait until 5 pm for check in. Then it was cleaned properly. It is outdated and only had one teaspoon. Low on silverware missing shelves in the refrigerator. Two plactic bowls and dustynon top of the refrigerator and the tub is a yellow dingy look. It was not worth the money. This my 1st bad experience in Orange Beach in over 30 year's.”

“My kids got sick told the host had to go to emergency room to leave there to go to another emergency room my brother been shoot and was dying they charged me the full $2,200 no refund I begged and begged for something back even though didn’t use the place so I could pay my rent and light bill and get a hotel for me and my kids so we didn’t have to stay at the hospital because it was out of town and not close to home and denied me over and over and over never returned and message or phone call was told all my money was non refundable STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FAR AWAY no consideration can careless I left it in God hands you will reap what you sow”

“This is a nice place to stay in a great location. I was uncomfortable with having to send the host a selfie as part of the check-in process and did not appreciate that at all. I also did not appreciate the note from the host: "On very hot days (90+ degrees) please be aware that the A/C units will NOT cool below 20 degrees... avoid overfilling the refrigerator. It can take up to 24 hours for the fridge to cool down when filled with food." All of these issues with the unit should be communicated before paying a non-refundable deposit. The unit itself is described accurately and we enjoyed our stay.”

“This condo was well decorated and a great location, with a great view! With that said, We were very disappointed in the lack of cleanliness throughout the unit. It needs a thorough deep clean! We especially the floors and baseboards. In the master we had 1/2 a roll of toilet paper upon checking in and we were out of TP before we even had a chance to go to the store for more. The bottom of the fridge had a big spill that was never cleaned up. Some of the pans were dirty as well. Also There is currently mold on the ceiling above the shower of the master bathroom, and that tub faucet drips all night. Finally, my kids found someone’s vitamins on the floor under the kitchen cabinets from the last renter. Happy to share photos of all mentioned here.”

“It was Absolutely the WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD in Orange Beach and we have been coming here every year for the last 15 years. We walked in and the smell of DEAD FISH PERMEATED THE ENTIRE CONDO. I called the the office and they proceeded to tell me it was the trash-shoot I said no way in hell that smell would be in every bedroom, bathroom, kitchen or living room. They then tried to tell me it was something WE put down the garbage disposal…..I told her NOT possible we just arrived and our GROCERIES hadn’t even arrived yet. I told them the tiny fans inside the light fixtures wouldn’t stay on and they said no idea how they work. Their SOLUTION to the DEAD FISH SMELL was for us to open all the patio doors and the front door and let the breeze take it out? I told her they were out of their ever loving minds I was NOT leaving the front door open so ANY FUCKING PERSON COULD WALK IN. We were leaving because the SMELL WAS SO NOXIOUS it was making my youngest sick to her stomach.”

“Horrible. Had a horrible time getting in. 5 codes till I got a code to work , bathroom tub filthy, Cockroaches! Asked for compensation! They would not give any!! Would not recommend!!!”

“My wife and I have had a lot of great experiences with AirBNB, but this was the furthest from a great experience. We were never notified that we would need a $66 parking pass to be able to access property. We were provided unclear instructions for parking on property and had to wait for 45 minutes on side of highway to be able to get into the property at check in. Once inside the home we noticed a strange smell, found a cockroach in the kitchen, and a dirty pool. We were provided a single roll of toilet paper for our three night stay and customer service stated they recommend bringing some. Who brings toilet paper to a Airbnb? Not a great experience, would not reccomend.”
