InJoy Vacations

InJoy Vacations's guest rating of 4.73 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Booked this place for my bachelorette party. It was nice having the protected condo with locks and security especially given the homeless people in the area. The Nashville Rescue Mission is at the end of the block. There were usually people handing out goods in the parking lot across the street during the day time. We utilized the complementary luggage storage since we arrived earlier than check in. We walked to Ole Smokey for lunch and played lawn games before checkin. I had noticed there was no one booked an entire week before us, so I inquired about checking in early. The best they could do was 2 hours. I even offered to pay for even earlier but was told that was the best they could do even though no one had been there for weeks before. The place was stuffy when we first went in because of that. Some items were damaged. Mirrors were broken, walls were scuffed up or had paint chipping, and the shower faucet and rod were down not attached to the wall (we were able to resolve this)

Pros - The place was clean & nice. Desk managers were very friendly. It was close to the Gulch area 8-10 min & Broadway was an easy 20 min. We did take an Uber twice. We were never woken up by the train. It slows down a lot when passing the complex. Cons - The property is located by some homeless support buildings or something, many homeless everywhere. We saw drugs & had one lady scream out that she was the daughter of God as we passed. It's uncomfortable & we had a young women in our party that was working & would meet up with us later & we had to sent someone to walk with her as we did not want her walking alone. The biggest problem was the automated entry. You had to download an app to access the property/unit. After 12 hrs travel my phone was dying at arrival, I left it in the room once & my sons phone died once. Not good. It took many texts/emails to get it set up & the gals doing it had no customer svc & were snippy, despite my kindness, not Airbnb. We will not stay here again.

Run down couch and furniture. Old and worn. Hard cheap mattress. Towels had hair. Seems owner cut corners at every possible step. Not impressed and will not be booking again

Cute little place. Had trouble with the elevator lock getting in one of the nights it wasn’t working at all and I went on a little mission getting someone to open it for me. Also walls are super thin the neighbors didn’t stop having very VERY LOUD SEX they were literally banging on the walls where I slept. The bathroom shower has half of a door very weird the floor would get wet. I almost fell coming out the shower twice! The fridge had 3 great value water bottles not sure if previous ppl left but I didn’t feel comfortable drinking out of them.

instructions were not clear, wristbands worked half the time, and the smell of weed was everywhere.

My stay at Laketown Wharf Resort was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. This place is completely overrated and nothing like what’s advertised online. It felt more like a neglected, run-down property than a “resort.” The cleanliness was unacceptable. The patio was filthy and clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Inside, the decor is extremely outdated and worn, making the whole place feel cheap and poorly maintained. To make things worse, there was visible mold on the vents and even on the shower heads, which is a serious health concern. Basic amenities didn’t even work. The WiFi was unreliable and barely usable, two of the TVs in the unit didn’t work at all, and the wristbands they give you for access constantly malfunctioned. It felt like nothing in this place was properly maintained or checked. The elevators are a disaster—slow, overcrowded, and the elevator areas were literally infested with gnats, which was disgusting. Getting to and from the room was fru

The kids all enjoyed that there was a lot of pools at the place. The room was fairly nice dishwasher didn’t work, nor the ice maker. The ac stayed on 74 the whole time so it was kinda hot in the room the whole stay. As far as stuff to cook your own meals with, they had 2 tiny frying pans hardly any pots and just not a very good selection of stuff to cook with in general, that disappointed me..

The Wharf was over nice place. But I would never go back nor would I recommend it to anyone. This resort was nothing but party central. Loud parties all night long. This is a very large complex and they only have 5 elevators and my family was there for 6 nights and 2 of the 5 never worked. We waited 30-45 minutes every single time we used the elevators. There was a homeless person sleeping in the staircase that’s why we didn’t use the stairs. We reported this several times and no one addressed. There were so many people parting on the beach that they closed the private beach entrance for the Wharf beach several times a day which meant we had several Days we couldn’t even go to the beach. There were cops out at your complex all day and evening each night we were there.

ROACHES!!!!! Infested with roaches!!! Not once did the host apologize for the inconvenience or anything! The house wasn’t cleaned at all! We was greeted by an unpleasant smell, the comforters were dirty with spots and hair, in which I made a special trip To Walmart for cleaning supplies and candles to remedy the smell and laundry detergent l!!! Do NOT book unless you want to live with roaches!!

This was the THIRD time I reported homeless people living in the garage nothing has been done. If you are a female, go somewhere else, a homeless man was naked waiting by the door from the building to the garage. I called the police, told the host and the very next night, the same homeless man was there doing drugs. Completely unacceptable and like I said, if I had a daughter there, I would move her out immediately. And, a door from the parking garage into the first floor lobby was unlocked. This is something really bad waiting to happen. Buyer beware and I will never stay here again.
