“Me and my friends definitely enjoyed the stay ! I will say the couch could’ve been cleaner, but we had a ballll ! Shoutout Vincent we definitely would stay there again!”

“ROCAHES ROACHES ROACHES!, Rented this house so my wife can recover from a recent transplant surgery she had. . We ended up leaving early because it was disgusting and unsantitary to constantly see roaches crawling inside/outside the kitchen atop of all the food. The host Vincent was notified of the roach issue numerous times. The exterminator sed they were German cockroaches and that the house would need to be treated multiple times to see a difference. This became too much for us to deal with. We physically checked out on Sept 16th. We had this rented till October 24th. The host Vincent REFUSED to refund us for NIGHTS we did NOT stay ( Sept 16th thru October 24th) . The host , Vincent is the most callous , heartless, unprofessional individual, knowing my wife had a transplant, he declined to refund any money. Vincent was still going to charge us for nights we weren’t staying there. Thankful for AMEX who did the right thing, they refunded us and fought with Air BnB.”

“Don’t stay here, the photos of the listing show a sunlit apartment with a nice view to the city, in reality this apartment has all of its windows blocked by new buildings next to it, there is not a single window where you can look out and not see a brick wall less than 4ft from the apartment, the description says “construction nearby” but it doesn’t tell you that you will need to have the lights on 24/7 because sunlight cannot get in because of the new buildings, the wifi is bad because it depends on cellular signal and the buildings make it so that the signal strength is weak. Bathrooms have windows without curtains that let the workers from the other buildings see inside the toilet and shower area. One of the beds had a hole in it and the other is more inclined to one side, giving you a blood rush to the head. We decided to rent out another place because of the awful conditions this apartment is in.”

“Unfortunately I had no power/no electricity in the unit and no resolve for a whole day. My food in fridge and freezer went bad and melted. The meds in fridge were spoiled. And I was gaslighted and told someone was coming for a whole day and no one came. Couldn’t charge my phone or medical devices since I was there with my kids and elderly mother. Unacceptable and disappointing. I had to get AirBnb supervisors to assist and the r host still pushed back”

“I don’t leave a bad review unless I feel it’s absolutely warranted, and it’s the first time I’ve been disappointed in an Airbnb apartment/home. The apartment itself is in a great location with a lovely view, and the bedroom has nice decor, however, the rest of our experience let it down massively. I understand that things can become worn especially when so many people visit, however, we were met with multiple cases of unwashed cutlery and pots which clearly still had the remains of food, unwashed glasses, as well as a chopping board left with pieces of food on it and flies crawling over it (bear in mind this was in an enclosed cupboard space, not left out in the open). The hob still had pieces of food and dirt wedged down the side of it, and the spices holder had fluffy mould spotted around the top of it as well as mould on some of the pot lids. This apartment is located in the financial district of Miami (Brickell), which in itself implies a high standard - How untrue this is.”

“Great location for everything we wanted to do. Communication was good! However, not the cleanest home as we found a dead bug and the floors weren’t very clean and also we were provided with 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 people and asked to have more and nobody ever addressed it. Overall, it was a good stay.”

“Overall the Airbnb was nice, especially enjoyed the pillows on the bed. However, there was miscommunication of fees. The vacation rental agreement did not state that there was a $50 mandatory amenities fee per person or that the front door automatically locks (that then could result in a $50 emergency open by the front desk). I reached out to the host to cover the cost due to this miscommunication and he refused.”

“I had to cancel close to check-in due to an unexpected personal emergency and contacted the host about a day in advance to explain the situation. I made a genuine effort to handle this responsibly and early, hoping to find a reasonable solution. Despite the notice, there was no flexibility—no option to reschedule, no partial refund, and no willingness to explore alternatives. I was repeatedly instructed to cancel, even though the unit remained unused and there was still time to potentially rebook the dates. While I understand policies exist, the handling of this situation felt extremely rigid and entirely one-sided, with the focus placed solely on enforcing terms rather than considering a fair outcome, giving the impression that the priority was simply to retain the full payment. If you are considering booking this property, be aware that no changes will be accommodated, even with prior notice. Only book if your plans are completely fixed. —Antonio”
