“The home that I selected from Helios vacation rentals look very much like the images that is listed. I was impressed by the cleanliness as my family and I entered the home. It is a nice sized home that fit my family comfortably. The pool was nice and we enjoyed the outdoor space. The rental group was very responsive and made sure to check in during our stay. I would recommend this home. It’s about a 30 min drive to Palm Springs but it was was worth it.”

“This was the ideal home for our family trip. The property was spacious, child-friendly, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was within driving distance to the Palm Desert Zoo which our whole family enjoyed. The host was responsive to all our questions. We would absolutely stay here again!”

Communication was excellent, the home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. You can tell a lot of care and attention goes into hosting. “We stayed here for a bachelorette trip. The property was beautiful and exactly as the photographs show. The open concept house was great for hanging out, making meals, and enjoying our time together. The seating area outside shelters you from the blaring sun and the Palm Springs wind gusts. The backyard was huge and had so many areas to sit and relax. All of the bedrooms were a good size and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. The closets are well equipped with hangers, dressers, and cloth bins to help you organize. I appreciated all the fine touches such as the steamer in the master bedroom closet and the luggage stands for all the type B people who don’t want to unpack but also don’t want to have to riffle through their suitcase on the floor for the whole trip. The host was super responsive to all messages so I was never concerned we would be stuck waiting for help with anything. I would highly recommend this specific property and the property management company.”

“Do NOT book here. I was told to extend for 1 it would cost a certain amount. They ended up charging me 3x the amount. I’ve been sent to multiple people to try to resolve and get refunded but they have NOT DONE A THING!! The host and Airbnb have continued to deny me. No one calls back and each keep saying it’s someone else’s problem. I’m beyond frustrated and therefore do NOT recommend this place. So disappointed!! They took my money right away but choose not to pay me back. What a ripoff! Most unpleasant experience I’ve had”

“They need to do something about the infestation of cockroaches. They need to fumigate. Also not enough toilet paper for the last day. They need to clean on detail. The upstairs restrooms was not clean enough.”

“This rental was fine for what we needed, however really needed more kitchen supplies. Severely lacking on pots and pans, cutting boards, etc. Difficult to cook meals for 8 people. The entire place needed a deeper clean than what was provided as well.”

“This place was just OK, I don’t think we will stay here again. Location is good — 5 minutes walk to Ralph’s is great. Many rooms, comfortable beds and spacious living spaces. Design is functional if uninspiring. Oven is extremely frustrating — it automatically locks and is very difficult to unlock, even with food inside, which becomes a safety hazard. At this price point we should not have to clean up so extensively before checkout. $100 a day to heat the pool and hot tub is exorbitant. From 6-7am on Fridays there is a very loud garbage collection process which woke us all up — not the fault of the Airbnb but definitely negatively affected our stay. Very loud gardeners / leaf blowers beginning 8am on Monday as well.”

“This place was very nice, homey with a great backyard! My group of 8 had a good time here. Check in and out was easy. We also had a lot of cars because my group had people driving from all over, and there was plenty of space to park. Heads up: The room that was advertised with 2 queens was actually 2 twins - wasn’t a problem for us but might be a surprise for those with bigger groups.”

“The house is great, lots of fun stuff for kids to do. The neighborhood is not the best, a little sketchy, next to a mental hospital. My biggest problem was with the picky rules and up charges. Just give me one price w/everything included. $75/day to heat the pool but that doesn’t include the spa, the spa is an extra $25/day which we didn’t find out till we went to turn it on. Also, they control the thermostat, won’t let u go under 74 degrees, they capitulated for at night when I contacted them but just one more task for me. Late checkout was the last straw, when I booked & clicked late checkout for $100, I assumed it was confirmed when the reservation was confirmed. My fam and I were enjoying a game of monopoly when I get a call that it was not approved, they sent an e-mail at 11pm the night before and get out now and "oh can the cleaners come in while your packing up?" No, they can't. We got out within 30 min and they still want their $100. I will not be renting from Helios again.”
