H2H Rental Services's guest rating of 4.66 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The biggest issue we had was the garage pass not working. We followed instructions but the pass kept saying “access denied” so we had to take a ticket and pay $25 to park the first night. We messaged the host right away and followed up during the 5-day stay, but nothing was fixed before we checked out. Minor, but the hall bathroom door didn’t lock and there was a strong fragrance smell inside the unit. There was also a VERY loud trash pickup every morning between about 5:30-7:30AM which made it hard to sleep. The host was polite, but the communication about the garage pass was not helpful and we ended up parking at the far lot using the parking tag. It was inconvenient with a baby, stroller, bags, etc. Also, wouldn’t suggest this stay if you’re sharing with another couple. There’s only one fob and you need that to get on the elevator and access hallways. Overall, the unit was clean and comfortable but the logistics with our car and sharing the fob with the other couple was frustrating.”airbnb

“There's an ant infestation. Also, I booked for my kids to be able to swim. I wasn't made aware until after check-in that the pool was closed. I'm not sure there is even a pool at the location. I couldn't find it and he refused to give me directions to it. The place was overall dirty with food in the sink, ants, and dishes still sitting in the dishwasher. We were supposed to stay 2 nights, but ended up cutting our stay short.”airbnb

“Overall the place was clean but I would never stay here again because the parking is horrible. The complex has five spots with one spot on the street. We arrived on Friday evening around 10pm and it took us approximately 45mins to find parking. It was pouring raining and we had to walk two blocks away from our car in the rain. We ended up paying a private lot $20 to park overnight which wasnt bad but trying to find an available spot was the issue. The host said we had a parking pass for the unit but Im not sure why, if the parking is rarely available. Additionally, I booked the stay for two people and the home only came with one bath rag & two towels. After getting soaked in the rain, we had to improvise and use clothing to take a bath with because of course we had already paid to park so we could not go to the store. I informed the host and he never delivered another rag for the duration of our stay, instead he delivered a bath rug, not sure how that solved our problem.”airbnb

“Tom's place did not match the pictures of the inside. Noticeable stains, broken blinds in both bed rooms, a horrible smell coming from the kitchen refrigerator area. No handle on microwave, shower curtain was hung wrong and very thin. Stains on wall including blood. I mean were in the ghetto here, and we didn't have very high hopes to begin with, but this place was bad and didn't meet any of our expectations. I asked for a partial refund to no avail. We had to turn off the refrigerator to keep the smell down. Definitely needs to fire his maintenance people, and clearly nobody has checked on it from the company. The positive was great walking distance to Sonic Temple. But next time ill Uber from a better place.”airbnb

“It was nice overall but the tv’s would not work everytime we tried to sign it, it would just sign us right out after about a minute. Other than that the place was fine.”airbnb

“I would not recommend this location due to the noise coming from the neighboring apartment, which led me to leave a day early.”airbnb

“We never were able to get inside the place. Had to cancel with no refund. The pin didn’t work and Tom never responded. Do not rent from him”airbnb

“This is the perfect affordable option if all you need is a no-frills spot to sleep and shower in the Short North. I really appreciated the large bedroom with a wide desk and premium bed linens. Another reviewer complained about street noise, but I didn't think it was bad at all and had no trouble sleeping. Wi-Fi was kind of spotty. The connection was strong and fast, but certain websites and apps just wouldn't load. Sometimes I had to disable Wi-Fi on my phone and tether my laptop to my cellular connection to get work done. Power cycling the cable modem and wireless router didn't seem to help. The biggest thing I would change is the early check-in fee: $25 to check in 2 hours early, $50 for 3 hours, or $75 for 4 hours. That would've been 11-32% of the total cost of my reservation, so I opted not to check in early even though it would've been really convenient. Hosts who let me check in a little early for free get my gratitude and repeat business.”airbnb

“Had a parking issue that started day 2 and was unresolved. Aswell we had to pay out of pocket for something that could have been handled. Host didnt do anything to correct the issue.”airbnb

“Place was right on campus which was just what I wanted. Be aware place gets loud because it is right on high street, but hey, that is what you are there for. OSU! Snafu with no parking pass that took longer to get resolved than should have. It is also FCFS for parking, but I always had a space. Super cute with lots of space and a full kitchen. Shower could take 20 minutes to get hot, so you need to plan ahead. If you are looking for location at OSU, this is the place to be.”airbnb
