Gulf Coast Lifestyle Vacation Rentals
4.64Visit website
Gulf Coast Lifestyle Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.64 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Prime location on the beach, recently remodeled, but cheaply furnished with uncomfortable couches, beds, and a “bare bones” feel. Property management mentioned a “new owner” which made sense given one set of silverware, no toaster or coffee pot. Being 100 yards from the beach makes up for some of this, but not the most “comfortable” place if you spend any extended time inside. Expected more comfort and consideration of guests given the nightly rate paid.”airbnb

“This condo was so disappointing, filthy furniture and floors. Despite cleaning people coming back to clean the floors because our infants legs and hands were black from crawling on the floor, it was still disgusting. Cleaning crew made us aware that the tenants before us had smeared fecal matter in the walls and in the showers which made us even more uneasy. The couches and chairs were disgusting and stained, we wouldn’t even sit on them. The pullout bed did not have sheets and mattress was covered in dirt and pubic hair and stains. Dust and sand everywhere when we arrived. The pool was full of hair and trash. There were very few towels. The washer and dryer were filthy. I would never use this rental company again!”airbnb

“This condo is fantastic. We loved the building and all of the amenities. We will definitely be back. The only issue we had was checking in. We came after hours and it was dark. We were not told that if we arrived after hours that we would need to go to a different property to check in, so it was very confusing as there are multiple properties with the same name. If that had been conveyed in messages prior to checking in, it would have went much better. Other than that one issue, it was perfect!”airbnb

“The bathroom shower didn’t drain. You would have to stand in water up to your ankles. The humidifier was moldy. You could only use one light in the bathroom because the fan makes a super loud screeching noise. There were gnats everywhere.”airbnb

“Beautiful decor! But… Nasty floors, dirty comforters, kitchen needs more pots and pans.”airbnb

“We really wanted to love this condo, but it was just “okay.” The floors were super dirty and there were several maintenance issues that needed remedied. We ended up checking out two days early. I communicated the issues to Cody and he apologized and said they’d be taken care of. Also, a few of my kids got their toes cut up from the pool, which isn’t anything to do with the unit, but just be aware that your kiddos might need water shoes. The location itself is great and the view is top notch. I think we might try this unit again, but I would want to be sure that there aren’t any unresolved issues first before booking.”airbnb

“I guess the negitive would be you cann not check in early. Especially when you fly in and its raining out. Lol. Other wise the place was in a great location. Right on the beach, lots of shops, restaurants, bike rental, and in general there's a lot to do. We would go back.”airbnb

“On the cleaning it wouldn’t let me choose something else! It was clean but the floor needs to be mopped & sanitized with Clorox! We all had dirty feet from walking on the floor! Also, you need some new mattresses for both beds & couch! Other than that it was a great place to stay! Thank you!”airbnb

“This condo is directly on a wide stretch of beach with nice views from the balcony. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Beach service is available for $45/day for two chairs. We chose not to do this because of the added expense. We arrived an hour after check-in and the inspector was still there - somewhat disconcerting. The condo had an old grease/fish smell that would not go away. The freezer, although clean, smelled of fish. Maintenance promised to change out the air filters but that was never done. We thought the internet was very slow (took up to 30 seconds to load a popular site. We asked Cody about it, and he said this speed was "normal" for the complex. We ended up using our cell phones (Verizon service is best in the area) as hot spots whenever we needed to work on our laptops. TV was standard satellite service. No issues. The master bath sink was missing a stopper and if you taller than 5'9" you will have to stoop while in the shower.”airbnb

“The room and location was great, however there was construction going on, loud enough to not talk, watch tv or nap. We were not informed of this ahead of time. Cody said they were just doing touch ups. There was drilling, hammering and workers on the balcony.”airbnb
