Manager Review

GH Hospitality

GH Hospitality's guest rating of 4.64 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with us, so we really didn’t get to enjoy much of the surrounding area. The place was nice. Main complaint was kitchen utensils/pans etc. are lacking. There was no cooking oil at the location as indicated in description. They had problems getting the place clean by the 4pm check in. I believe the cleaning tgg hr errors was rushed. Still had hair in main shower. Spider webs in corners. The hot tub was very cloudy and didn’t look safe to get into. Texted host and they said it was supposed to be like that, but we still were skeptical. Adirondack chairs were not suitable to sit in, arms were broken and unsafe to sit in. Didn’t use grill bc of weather so cannot comment on it. We really overall enjoyed the place. Beds and accommodations were as described and comfortable.

The space is really awesome. It has a lot of potential. But there are a few issues. 1. The space was dirty. Floors haven't been cleaned in a long time. Didn't even want to take my shoes off. The bed was made, but its clearly been a while since it had been washed. Their was a LOT of long brown/red hair on the walls of the shower. 2. Hot tub was awesome! But there needs to be something that guests can use to skim the water. The water had so many pine needles and dead bugs. 3. Water pressure. The shower head has seen better days. Really quite difficult to wash effectively. Definitely could use an update. 4. Towels. The towels were stained and not clean. Had to wash the towels ourselves prior to using. Overall, we did have a wonderful stay. I would absolutely recommend it. But the cleaning crew is not cleaning. They did, however, roll and lay the towels in a pretty arrangement with mini shampoo and conditioner.

Overall it was nice enough, feels a little overpriced for what you get though. As others mentioned, there is another house really close. Also, the place isn't maintained super well. In the master bedroom, the door knob kept falling off. Also, there is a window overlooking the pool and no curtains. As someone sensitive to light when sleeping, this is an issue. But if you have exhibitionistic tendencies, then I guess it is a feature. The keyless entry didn't work, but everything was unlocked when we got there. Also, it felt dirty. The place is older and has a little charm, but still dirty. We had some water spill and after wiping it up, the paper towel was black. There were no dish towels, one sink was unusable, just random little things like that. Each on their own not really a big deal, but overall it just adds up. Still not a terrible getaway if you're aware going in, but does feel a bit overrated and overpriced for what you get. The pool is nice though.

In the future I will continue to rent from individuals, not property groups.

Absolutely unacceptable cleanliness. Used bars of soap in bathroom. Chewed gum stuck to bed. Dirty dishes(mold). Grill was so dirty it caught fire multiple times. Hosts were inconsiderate. Do not recommend.

This place has lost of features and at first glance is nice. Things of concern are very dirty floors on arrival, two bedroom doors couldn’t be closed all the way, some cookware is so rusty we couldn’t use and stains on bed linen’s. Likely wouldn’t choose this place again.

Overall nice place, I did ask for firewood since they were out, and the shed they said to check was also empty and I never got any delivered to me during my stay.

The place itself not half bad. The cleaning is questionable. The grill, hot tub, and more were not cleaned properly. Hairs on bed and bathroom counter. The dish scrubber they expect you to use and they use for dishes was nasty. The WiFi was the biggest issue and they failed to resolve it the entire stay. Management never got back with me about it either. The WiFi password is incorrect on the listing. I finally got it from a nearby cabin and well then it would only work when you are outside the cabin because the router was located in the laundry room. They use that same router for 7 cottages. Terrible communication and expect no service or wifi unless outside or at the house located next to the laundry shed. Even then it is spotty. In this area you need wifi for phone service and maps. So I am disappointed by that entirely due to that being the reason I chose this place. Better to get a booking from an individual person rather than a company such as this.

We booked this for a bachelorette weekend and were told 6 hours prior to check-in that we could no longer stay there since the water “wasn’t working”. No other information was provided. We were staying Thursday through Sunday. We asked if we could at least stay there Friday or Saturday, as our bride paid extra money to be able to get her perfect airbnb since she loved it. She never got to see it, and we were given paltry excuses as to why it couldn’t be fixed in time for us to stay there at all. The place they gave us to stay was dusty and dirty. There was icing / cake smeared on the nightstand in one of the rooms, floors were dusty and dirty. The decorations were atrocious, all over the place and looked like they bought random stuff at hobby lobby. The place they gave us was a poor substitute and our bride was devastated. We spent almost $1700 and only received $200 refund for the joke of a place. Our bride was so disappointed and we will avoid ever using this management company again

Do not book this place. We typed in the code provided to for the lock to the unit and when we walked in someone else’s stuff was in there. I said loudly “hello”. Someone came out confused and asked what we were doing there. I told them we were Checking into the place. The host double booked, it could have been a dangerous situation if the current guests were unfriendly. I told the host to call me to which I didn’t receive a call for at least 30 minutes even though they were messaging me. They started blaming the current guests for staying in the wrong unit. The code they got was for the unit we were supposed to be in, so it was not the fault of the current guests. After some back and forth with the call center agent (yes, the host is a hospitality company), they said they had an identical unit above. They gave us the code to that one but when we got inside it smelled awful. I have never had an issue with a host or a unit, this is my first bad experience. We canceled same day
