Manager Review

GH Hospitality

GH Hospitality's guest rating of 4.65 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

This place has lost of features and at first glance is nice. Things of concern are very dirty floors on arrival, two bedroom doors couldn’t be closed all the way, some cookware is so rusty we couldn’t use and stains on bed linen’s. Likely wouldn’t choose this place again.

Overall nice place, I did ask for firewood since they were out, and the shed they said to check was also empty and I never got any delivered to me during my stay.

Location was great because we spent a lot of time at Hocking Hills State Park. The cabin was just as described. Read some of the reviews before booking and they were accurate, fluctuating shower temperature, wifi was hit miss and cell service was spotty. A larger supply of shower soap and shampoo would have been nice and only a partial roll of paper towels was supplied.

The place itself not half bad. The cleaning is questionable. The grill, hot tub, and more were not cleaned properly. Hairs on bed and bathroom counter. The dish scrubber they expect you to use and they use for dishes was nasty. The WiFi was the biggest issue and they failed to resolve it the entire stay. Management never got back with me about it either. The WiFi password is incorrect on the listing. I finally got it from a nearby cabin and well then it would only work when you are outside the cabin because the router was located in the laundry room. They use that same router for 7 cottages. Terrible communication and expect no service or wifi unless outside or at the house located next to the laundry shed. Even then it is spotty. In this area you need wifi for phone service and maps. So I am disappointed by that entirely due to that being the reason I chose this place. Better to get a booking from an individual person rather than a company such as this.

Outdoor seating around the fire pit needs updated along with the lift for the hot tub cover. Trash cans were down at the road and not by the garage as stated which was inconvenient

Do not book unless you want to stay in an unclean home. The dishwasher had “sludge” in it and was clearly dirty. There was dirt on the floor, handles missing in the kitchen, the kitchen chairs were filthy, one room didn’t have a remote but there was a tv, there were crumbs on the couch, every dish was dirty and we had to rewash them all. When we arrived, there was a technician working on the garage door. He worked for almost two hours and did not fix the door so we couldn’t open the distillery door when playing on the golf simulator. The concept of this home is great and it’s spacious. We could not get over the lack of cleanliness. The renovations were done cleaply. I’ve never left a poor review on any review platform but I could not go without saying how terrible the home was, although the location is extremely peaceful. I reached out to the host during our stay to share pictures and the team denied the home being dirty, even after seeing the pictures I took. Do not recommend.

We booked this for a bachelorette weekend and were told 6 hours prior to check-in that we could no longer stay there since the water “wasn’t working”. No other information was provided. We were staying Thursday through Sunday. We asked if we could at least stay there Friday or Saturday, as our bride paid extra money to be able to get her perfect airbnb since she loved it. She never got to see it, and we were given paltry excuses as to why it couldn’t be fixed in time for us to stay there at all. The place they gave us to stay was dusty and dirty. There was icing / cake smeared on the nightstand in one of the rooms, floors were dusty and dirty. The decorations were atrocious, all over the place and looked like they bought random stuff at hobby lobby. The place they gave us was a poor substitute and our bride was devastated. We spent almost $1700 and only received $200 refund for the joke of a place. Our bride was so disappointed and we will avoid ever using this management company again

Terrible experience. First off the check in says after 4pm. Arrive a little before 4 and had to wait 30min for cleaning people to do a quick clean. Once inside it was ok. The cleaning guy told us we couldn’t use hot tub because it was very dirty and needs to be drained and cleaned. None of the windows open. The place is next to a busy road which is not shown in pictures. I had a dog with me so not very safe. The air conditioner upstairs started leaking and made a puddle in the upstairs bedroom. The host took a long time to respond once arriving after hearing all the problems. Was told eventually that they called maintenance and we would have to wait for the issues to be taken care of. It was the worst Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Not a good experience at all. Do not recommend.

Do not book this place. We typed in the code provided to for the lock to the unit and when we walked in someone else’s stuff was in there. I said loudly “hello”. Someone came out confused and asked what we were doing there. I told them we were Checking into the place. The host double booked, it could have been a dangerous situation if the current guests were unfriendly. I told the host to call me to which I didn’t receive a call for at least 30 minutes even though they were messaging me. They started blaming the current guests for staying in the wrong unit. The code they got was for the unit we were supposed to be in, so it was not the fault of the current guests. After some back and forth with the call center agent (yes, the host is a hospitality company), they said they had an identical unit above. They gave us the code to that one but when we got inside it smelled awful. I have never had an issue with a host or a unit, this is my first bad experience. We canceled same day

I rented this one because we were looking for something larger because we had more family this time and I was disappointed, fourth time in Hocking Hills and always have had a perfect adventure, but I guess I should have stuck with renting from individuals and not a company it seems like they cared more, I don't know but the only good thing was the hot tub so I guess that's something but I could've spent money better somewhere else, there was trash all in backyard, I should have checked out my previous hosts first I guess and did better research I guess
