Foxy Vacations

Foxy Vacations's guest rating of 4.69 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

This is the 9th time that we have stayed at different condos at the Sundestin. Check in is seamless and the location is great. The kitchen floor & the balcony was not cleaned prior to our arrival which was disappointing. I would stay again & recommend to others given the condo was properly cleaned.

I would not recommend this property for groups larger than four people. The listing states that it sleeps six, but in reality it comfortably accommodates only four guests. Another issue was the lack of towels. Only four towels were provided for our entire stay, despite having more than four guests. I contacted the host and was promised additional towels would be delivered, but they never arrived. The layout was also strange. There is a third bedroom that is locked from inside the house and can be accessed through a separate exterior entrance. You will not have access to the third bedroom. This was not what we expected and felt awkward for our group. If you are traveling with more than four people, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The listing does not accurately reflect the accommodations provided.

The good: -Golf cart was great addition -close to the pool -very clean and functional condo The bad: -broken door handle on balcony -missing fire alarm on living room ceiling with wires hanging down -pans were old and scratched up. Definitely not non-stick any more. -No salt, pepper, cooking spray. I hate when condos leave you with absolutely nothing. -communication was poor. Several times were told we will get back with you soon and either it was radio silence or we figured it out before they got back. You are dealing with an agency not an individual owner. -Beach access is not convenient. Deer Lake has entry fee and a long walk from parking to beach. Gulf Lakes has no golf cart parking. -Biggest issue is that we got a $125 parking ticket for parking the golf cart at Gulf Lakes. Owners should provide some insight about where to park the cart. The nearest legal parking is about 250 yards past gulf lakes on the left. This would have been nice to know before we got ticketed.

Beautiful location! Building just underwent an $8 million renovation- This unit has the potential to be spectacular with a little TLC- Bring your own beach chairs-and beach towels-and for that matter toilet paper-one roll per bathroom is provided-

Clean, great location near restaurants and grocery stores. Free parking. Some construction still going on but not obtrusive. Bed firm but comfortable. Microfiber sheets (bring your cotton top sheet). Beach chairs and boogie boards in closet. Hairdryer in bathroom. Unfortunately, management did not communicate well prior to arrival. Dishwasher not working, part ordered. When we inquired, they did replace dishwasher 2 days later. Large burner on stove not working, not repaired. Kitchen is very basic. Only a small frying pan available, limited pots and pans, one measuring cup. We enjoy preparing fresh seafood while in Florida and it was a struggle. As far as the resort itself, basic. No shade near pools. Hallways dingy. Elevators fast, rarely waited for one. Grill outside hot, free to use. No personal umbrellas allowed on beach. Rental for 2 chairs and umbrella was $52/day. Be persistent when attempting to communicate with management of this rental.

This is the first time we’ve stayed in this particular unit at the Palm Beach Club and it was comfortable, really beautifully decorated, with a very nice kitchen, updated bathrooms and tasteful but comfortable furniture. However, you really do have to bring (or buy) all your own amenities. There is no olive oil, salt and pepper, tin foil, etc. They leave you with only two dishwasher pods and two washing machine detergent pods. And they do not supply beach towels or chairs. So be prepared to buy all that stuff yourself. Personally, we felt it made the place feel chintzy and a bit unwelcoming, which is a shame because the space feels very luxe otherwise! That said, the location really cannot be beat. We think the Palm Beach Club condos are the very best spot on all of Pensacola Beach, with access to both the Gulf and Bay, and a pool. It’s really a lovely spot, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist drag. And there are great sunset views from the Bay side of the property!

Great location; close to the beach and restaurants. I would stay at this condo association again, but would look for a different unit. The floors were not clean, the top bunk was not made, and the AC unit couldn’t keep up with 73 degree weather. When I messaged the host, they said it was just that time of the year. I would consider this during summer months before booking.

The place was missing some amenities, such as corn hole, stove top did not work. The place was not clean. In fact it was probably cleaner when we left than it was when we left. There was food left on the freezer. I will not be back!!!!

Overall, the stay was good. However, there is construction going on every day starting at 8am and ended around 4pm. We were not made aware of this prior to booking. This created the balcony and chairs to be dusty every single day. My husband sat on the chair and when he got up, his clothes were all full of dust. We wiped down the chairs and table and the next day they were covered again with the dust. It was hard to enjoy the balcony with all of the noise. There should be a screen on the balcony door. Due to construction, the front entrance isn’t open so you have to go in through the side, which is awkward. The tub in the bathroom wasn’t draining so I reached out to the host. After waiting a little bit, my husband had to clean the drain and there was a ton of hair. I never heard back from the host or had a follow up. The condo is clean, but can use a few things tended to. The location is nice. I would stay there again but the construction needs to be completed.

An hour before check-in we got a call saying that the house had no power and the pool were inoperable they did offer another place without the amenities we requested and we were traveling with pets which left us without a plane to go out of state therefore my pets spent most of their visit in crates which isn't what we paid for. We lost one day trying to find a place to stay...Not professional enough the property should hands been ready!
