Manager Review

Foxy Vacations

Foxy Vacations's guest rating of 4.68 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

It was a cute house and close to everything around… however, there were multiple things that needed renovation such as shower handle in first bathroom, ceiling is warped due to water damage, AC unit doesn’t work to its full potential. Lack of utensils for cooking, no strainer, kitchen handle for sink couldn’t go all the way back. Some Airbnbs have books of things to do or restaurants to eat at, and there was a lack of that. Make sure you buy extra toilet paper and trash bags if staying for more than 2 days. Also no spices or salt and pepper. Little niche things you would find at other places were not at this one.

When we arrived, we felt as if they just turned the home around because there were a few things that seemed off— no comforter on our bed (it was still in the dryer), some of the blankets had stains and leftover hair, 1 bathroom had no tissue. When we reached out, mgmt seemed bothered we had but wanted to resolve it right then at 10p. We lost power 2x while there for 4 days. Not the biggest deal but what made it unfair was that they knew about it but never alerted us. We had to contact them. They responded “oh yeah a few of our properties did too”. 🙄 Pros: Drive to beach, grocery stores, & places to eat were not too bad. Washer and dryer made things easier for us. Had plenty kitchen items.

The best part was the big back yard and big pool. Screened in porch wasn’t the nicest. You may want to bring forks and hangers if you have more than a few people since they do not have dressers in the bigger rooms. Also, the hallway bathroom had a horrible smell. They did come and look twice, we stopped using the toilet and it was ok. I looked back and see that many comments said the same thing, I’m assuming it’s an on going problem. Was inconvenient for the short time and I did reach out, just kept saying sorry for the inconvenience.

Beautiful home and good location. The floors were still pretty dirty when we arrived, a lot of sand. Need to accommodate more toilet paper and extra trash bags. The walls are thin and the neighbors were pretty loud. Pool is nice with a pretty view @ sunset. All the remotes for the lighting/fans is confusing and some didn’t work.

very nice house, garage door access have to go in side gate open and close using button on garage wall, difficult when raining side yard flood. utensils in kitchen were low grade as far as serving cookware flimsy. parking difficult when 3 cars are brought. one can fit in garage one park leangthwise. on driveway one car in garage, there on a side street. trash pick up was suppose to be the and fri trash did not pick up fri.i did get my refund from early check in that didnt happen, and was stuck waiting to almost 4 to get entry to house. I had paid for early access 2 months ahead of time emailed and called to make sure the week before we left. was informed in route it would be after 3:00 due to a power outage , when told I was early check in at first person didnt realize . and many text and calls where employees and management were not on same page, for money spent I feel I should of recieved better service and I had to ask for my refund, to many excuses given.

The resort had different check out time than advertised. There is also no ramp to the beach which is a huge inconvenience, in addition to not being allowed to set up personal umbrellas at all. Location was great and clean.

I would not recommend this property for groups larger than four people. The listing states that it sleeps six, but in reality it comfortably accommodates only four guests. Another issue was the lack of towels. Only four towels were provided for our entire stay, despite having more than four guests. I contacted the host and was promised additional towels would be delivered, but they never arrived. The layout was also strange. There is a third bedroom that is locked from inside the house and can be accessed through a separate exterior entrance. You will not have access to the third bedroom. This was not what we expected and felt awkward for our group. If you are traveling with more than four people, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The listing does not accurately reflect the accommodations provided.

The good: -Golf cart was great addition -close to the pool -very clean and functional condo The bad: -broken door handle on balcony -missing fire alarm on living room ceiling with wires hanging down -pans were old and scratched up. Definitely not non-stick any more. -No salt, pepper, cooking spray. I hate when condos leave you with absolutely nothing. -communication was poor. Several times were told we will get back with you soon and either it was radio silence or we figured it out before they got back. You are dealing with an agency not an individual owner. -Beach access is not convenient. Deer Lake has entry fee and a long walk from parking to beach. Gulf Lakes has no golf cart parking. -Biggest issue is that we got a $125 parking ticket for parking the golf cart at Gulf Lakes. Owners should provide some insight about where to park the cart. The nearest legal parking is about 250 yards past gulf lakes on the left. This would have been nice to know before we got ticketed.

Location is very convenient with nice view and a lot of fun around but, place need to be update with better beds and TV’s in the bedrooms. A new refrigerator will be great. Need to watch maintenance and cleaning of the place before a guest come over.

The place was missing some amenities, such as corn hole, stove top did not work. The place was not clean. In fact it was probably cleaner when we left than it was when we left. There was food left on the freezer. I will not be back!!!!
