The place was all we expected. It was beautiful and comfortable. However, we understood that they do not want trailers on the property. When we were parked completely out of the way unloading an owner showed up. They started saying you can't park there and we're very snarky. After telling them what unit we were in they changed there tune a bit and was like oh ok, it should be fine. We unloaded and parked truck and trailer in a long spot that held both out of the way. Then 2 days be fore we leave that same owners wife complained, again if we parked our truck in that same place without the trailer attached which is a legit space, it would be fine. As we headed out to move the truck and trailer the wife was there grinning ear to ear. The owners are snarky and not helpful at all. We were staying during a time when there were very empty because of off season. The space we moved from stayed empty the rest of our stay. I understand no trailers in that small parking area they have.

I am writing regarding my recent reservation at the Smyrna Beach property (Confirmation: HMMCQY5HEY), which resulted in a $2,502 charge. Due to a medical emergency involving hospitalization and cognitive challenges, I accidentally booked this Daytona property instead of my intended location on the Gulf Coast. The property management team, Florida Vacay, initially offered to reopen the dates for rebooking and refund any portion that was filled. However, the property was never made available on Airbnb, denying me any opportunity to recover my funds. Furthermore, my request to move the reservation to a future date was rejected, despite these documented extenuating circumstances. I am disappointed by the lack of flexibility and the failure to follow through on the promised rebooking assistance. Given the severe medical issues involved, I hope you will reconsider and issue a refund.

After getting home - being charged $100 for a bunk bed that was already broken is ridiculous

Beautifully furnished condo with exceptional views. I wish the entire condominium had been smoking free, but sadly you’re allowed to smoke on the balcony in other units. The bathrooms were a bit dirty with hair in the tub, but a quick wash down remedied that. The floors were sandy upon arrival so we had to vacuum. I wish they had offered a swiffer wet vs a mop and bucket as I’m not mopping on vacation. For the price you pay to stay here I would think they would offer you more than 2 dishwashing/laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, and 4 toilet rolls for 2 weeks. I also wish they would have offered some Clorox wipes and windex wipes for easy cleaning after meals. A mattress topper for people that like soft mattresses would be a nice addition as well as better pillows. While we enjoyed our stay and the condo itself was nice - these finer details kept it from being a five star stay for us especially considering the price you pay for two weeks.

The condo was beautiful and sparkly clean! We really liked the building as well. Everything felt clean and well maintained. The location was great as well. We liked that it was a no-drive beach. We were within walking distance of a grocery store, liquor store, gift shop, ice cream shop, and three restaurants! We had only two complaints. We were not warned about the broken refrigerator, which did not cool and smelled fishy on the inside. We were left with a small RV-size refrigerator, which didn't have as much space. We shopped for groceries prior to arriving expecting enough space to hold everything. We were disappointed to learn that we had to try to pack everything into this small refrigerator. If we had known, we would have bought less food. Also, we did not like that the primary bathroom toilet seat was broken. We messaged about these issues, but we were told that a work order was placed. Nothing was repaired while we were there.

Great place looks recently renovated great job on interior styling well stocked kitchen with everything you need beds firm great nights sleep tvs with cable we’ve been coming to Fla and the Daytona are for years and this was one of the best places we’ve stayed. The only negative was the hard check-in time like we got there 15 mins early and I had to wait outside the unit until exactly 4 and I ended up peeing in my coffee cup. Not ideal so you should build on some flexibility

My husband is in a wheelchair, which was an extreme challenge in the master bathroom and also on the property in general. Apparently, having two grab bars in the shower is the bare minimum needed to get a wheelchair ADA rating based on what we found. He needs grab bars by the toilet and enough room to maneuver his chair in the bathroom, but there was neither, so we had to use the 27th Avenue beach facilities more than once. Getting down to the beach or by the pool was also extremely challenging. My husband had a lot of bruises and scrapes by the time our five-day vacation stay was over, and we wouldn't have been able to enjoy either without the help of my son-in-law and the kindness of other vacationers. On the plus side, the July 4th fireworks on the beach were amazing!!!

Overall I mostly enjoyed my stay. But I had to buy pillows because the ones provided were lumpy and flat. And when I requested new ones I was told no. Also the bedsheets were in poor condition- pills etc/ cheap. And when I asked for a change I was told no. Once I had to leave the beach to let a handyman in because there isnt a backup or master key. And some of the time the rental company was slow to respond. Also, significantly, one of the two elevators was broken 90% of my stay and the rental company had no info on why/ how long etc. And a couple of times both elevators were down and had to climb many flights. I even had my husband come to help me (he wasn’t staying) the night before check out because I was afraid I’d have to carry my heavy suitcase and make many trips up and down the stairs (I stayed for 3.5 weeks).

Condo was on no-drive beach with great views of the water. Upon arrival condo smelled musty and dehumidifier was running. We had to continuously empty it. The AC was not keeping humidity out of the unit. Two members of the party who are allergic to mold, started reactions of sneezing, sore throats etc. We discovered a few hours after arrival that the refrigerator was not getting cold. We froze water bottles to put in the fridge to keep our food cool. The warning light to replace the water filter was on. The TV sound system went out. Texted FL Vacay, was told the office was closed and to call the office the next day. Were told someone would come by, which they did but knew nothing about how to fix the fridge or the TV. Said a ticket would be put in. The owner brought a new TV to the unit but didn't install it. Was still in the box when we left. Upon running the dishwasher, it leaked all over the floor. People smoking at pool. No maintenance staff on site for days and trash cans full.

Beautiful condo right on an undriveable part of the beach, which was perfect for us. Welcome bag was a nice added touch and included the basics. There was also hand soap at the sinks which lasted the duration of our stay. Unfortunately, we had a problem with the thermostat in the condo and the responsiveness of the staff.. The thermostat was scheduled to only cool to 82 degrees overnight. While we were able to override it every night after 10pm, for the price that we paid, this is a problem that should have been fixable in short order. Instead, despite contacting someone about it on day 2 (and multiple times on subsequent days), we had to put up with it for the entirety of our 13 night stay. We also killed at least 4 or 5 cockroaches during our stay, including one in a kitchen cabinet. Guess we had higher expectations for the overall experience based upon prior reviews.
