Five Star Luxury Travel's guest rating of 4.77 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Dirty towels, dirty pillowcases, broken blinds in main bedroom from last guests not fixed until last night of trip. Confusion from their own employees on the description of airbnb regarding the twin sleeper causing us to book a rollaway which wasn’t needed. Beds were quite hard. Location is great if you want to be in South Beach as well as the amenities at the W. Would suggest booking direct with W though.”airbnb

“They gave me the wrong room and were unresponsive. They would not reply to messages. I called multiple times. An operator took my message and said that someone would call me back. Nobody ever called me back. I was placed in a different condo than the one I booked within the 1 hotel during my stay. Still have yet to even be contacted by the host.”airbnb

“DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY!!!! UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE unless you want to pay double or triple what is listed for a mediocre property. These hosts are absolute crooks, and they know it! I advise you to take your money ANYWHERE ELSE!!!”airbnb

“The 1 Hotel & Homes has always been our preferred place to stay in Miami, which made this experience especially disappointing. During our stay, the unit’s Wi-Fi stopped working and remained down for most of our trip. As remote workers, reliable internet is essential, and the outage significantly impacted our ability to work, stream TV, and stay connected. We reported the issue multiple times, but there appeared to be little urgency in resolving it. Unfortunately, the internet was not restored until about two hours before our departure. Because this unit was too far from the main hotel to reliably connect to the hotel’s guest Wi-Fi, there was no practical alternative during the outage. While we enjoyed the unit and continue to value the overall 1 Hotel experience, the prolonged outage and lack of timely resolution were frustrating enough that we’ll likely consider booking directly through the hotel on future visits to avoid similar issues.”airbnb

“Staying at the 1 Hotel & Homes is a cheat code!! The condo is spacious and in the same building as the hotel, so we got to use all of the hotel amenities, restaurants and more. The experience is truly top tier luxury and we’d highly recommend staying here! We did have a couple minor issues during our stay (ie. Master bedroom/bathroom lights going out), but the staff were super kind and professional in response. A couple things just to be wary of is that 1. The restaurants and bars throughout the hotel are extremely pricey if you plan to take advantage of them despite the great deal on the condo price and 2. There seems to be ongoing construction above us every morning at 10am. Otherwise we loved our stay and would love to come back!!”airbnb

“The apartment was very nice but there was an issue with the toilet being clogged, that was making loud noises which you could hear all the way to the bedroom for the 5 days I stayed there. Even though the concierge team did send someone it was an issue that went on throughout my stay and was not take care of properly, even though I did report it on a daily basis. For a luxury property I would have expected at least something complimentary to make up for the inconvenience.”airbnb
