First Choice Lodging Company's guest rating of 4.59 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“We were in town for a funeral to be close to family. Everything was very clean. We came with 3 kids that were 4 and under and felt very comfortable in this home.”airbnb

“We booked this property SOLELY because the listing specifically advertised and pictured a “fenced-in area” that would provide a safe environment for dogs. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the yard was not actually fenced at all. As pet owners traveling with our dogs, this was a major factor in choosing this Airbnb, so it was very disappointing and extremely inconvenient. We spent over 3k and traveled 7 hours to specifically be at this air bnb with a large fenced yard. We Would never have came here otherwise. Because of this, our entire weekend became much more stressful and difficult than expected and made it hard to relax or fully enjoy the weekend. We brought our concerns to the host, and while they offered a $100 refund, it does not nearly make up for the inconvenience or the completely inaccurate description and false advertising.”airbnb

“We loved our stay! It was very private and peaceful! Sat on the front porch a lot and enjoyed the view and wildlife while eating grilled steaks. Even during a downpour it was nice to be able to sit out there. Everything was as described.”airbnb

“Cute little cabin with some nice restaurants and a convenient grocery store near by. Give Rhapsody Music and Dining a try if you're around and don't miss out on Hocking Hills state park for some great sights and hiking. Tha cabin itself was very clean and cozy. My only issue, which isn't even an issue I guess, was that the hot tub was not private. It does seem to be shared with the bed and breakfast the cabin sits behind. If you don't mind that then it is perfect. Would definitely come back again and also use Adventure Pros for kayaking and ATV rental.”airbnb

“it wasn’t it kind of sucks that you have to use a key because they only give you one key but our group pretty much stays together so it never really was an issue but it could be for others. The hot tub jets didn’t really work but again wasn’t that big of an issue for us and when I notified the host, they were very responsive about it. The furniture was outdated, but it wasn’t too bad. I slept pretty well. nothing that is a big deal to us. they were very responsive and pretty flexible for us. I would definitely stay here again if you wanted a quiet getaway and it’s close enough to everything but also far enough to where you’re not in the middle of a bunch of traffic they provided a lot of kitchen supplies so that was nice. You definitely have to bring your own seasonings, but there our stores maybe 10 minutes away so if you didn’t bring something you were able to find it”airbnb

“Overall it was a great stay. The cabin is huge. The pictures don't do it justice. Each floor is like its own cabin. Everything was clean. Great view of the woods. It was really relaxing. A few things we didn't like. The hot tub didn't get over 90 degrees. In hot tub land that's lukewarm bath water. Only half of the jets worked and those barely worked. The spiral staircase inside was very very narrow and steep. I couldn't go in the basement because it hurt my knee with how steep and narrow it was. When using The shower upstairs it would leak water in the basement. I reported it and they said they would note it. Didn't come look at it just let it run through the ceiling.”airbnb

“I’m not sure where to begin. This cabin looked very nice in the listing but it was far from it. Upon arrival, we walked into our unit and noticed it was pretty run down. Cabinets would not close, ceiling tiles all were sagging and lights outside were missing from their sockets. When we went into the kitchen, we found a disgusting amount of mouse/rodent droppings EVERYWHERE. On the countertops, in almost every drawer, in the sink, on the silverware, in cups and bowls and in the kitchenware drawer. There was also a triggered mouse trap in the open part of the closet with mouse/rodent droppings and matted hair all around it. Also, our sheets were all imbedded with black short dog hair as well as all of the carpets and on the coffee table/everywhere. We spent our entire first day cleaning the unit after they offered to move us to another cabin…. But they said, and I quote… “We can’t guarantee there won’t be signs of rodents or bugs in the home.” Do not stay with this company. Just awful.”airbnb

“This cabin seemed great based on the listing. However, that all faded away as soon as we got settled. Every bed was extremely uncomfortable, to the point that we could not sleep for multiple nights and left early due to this. The dryer did not work, so we had to take home a huge bag of wet clothing. The listing is advertised as dog friendly, but there isn’t a fenced yard and the road is busier than you’d expect given the remote location and not very safe to walk dogs on. There were dirty clothes and shoes left from previous occupants under the couch. Overall, the place is showing its age and could use some touchups and repairs. Not worth the price.”airbnb
