Family Time Vacation Rentals
4.54Visit website
Family Time Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.54 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The property itself was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. However, in hospitality, small details matter. The listing included a BBQ grill, but I discovered only a day before check-in, through the fine print, that propane was not provided. We still planned around it, only to find at check-in that the grill itself was nowhere to be found. Around 8:45 PM, we were informed that it had been moved to the garage and were given the access code, with the expectation that we would move it ourselves, by which time we had already made alternate dinner arrangements. Similarly, amenities like the coffee maker were listed, but no coffee was provided. We were also asked to personally haul trash to an off-site dumpster about 8 minutes away, which felt unusual for a guest stay and could likely have been handled by the cleaning staff. Overall, the stay itself was good, but these details impacted the experience far more than expected. Will not return!”airbnb

“Perfect mountain cabin with a great space for having a couple families together with fun ping pong for kids and the hot tub for the adults.”airbnb

“Host was very responsive. Condo was clean. Location is NOT ski in/out. In no way can you ski to the lift. It’s flat and the snow tubing area blocks you from skiing to the lift. You can ski IN if you are at a level of skiing down a steep black diamond hill. Listing says there is a washer/dryer. It’s located in a separate building and you need coins. Listing needs to clarify that logistic. No basket to carry clothes through the maze getting to other building. The king bed is terribly uncomfortable and pillows are flat. May as well sleep on the floor. No wine bottle opener, that should be standard. Lack of attention to detail seems to be this listings short fall. We won’t rent again.”airbnb

“We experienced some cleanliness issues immediately upon arrival that were disappointing. There was dog hair all over the couch and carpets, and we also noticed hair on the bathroom sink counter that appeared to be either facial or pubic hair. Additionally, when we went to get into bed, we found a long black human hair in the bedding. None of the people in our party have long black hair, so this was clearly not from us. We were out on the mountain most of the day, so thankfully we only needed the space to sleep. However, the condition of the home made us uncomfortable, and we didn’t feel clean enough to use the kitchen or spend much time there. Overall, the stay was manageable for our purposes, but the cleanliness needs significant improvement.”airbnb

“when originally making a booking I thought it was one entire place but it was actually two separate units which was not in the description or pictures. Was kind of bummed because not everyone would be in the same space. When trying to get into the place the keyless entry was not working and ended up using the manual keys, however the locking system was extremely finicky. Over all place was pretty clean other than the carpets possibly needed a good shampoo. The company seems to use a third party system to send updates and instructions however I kind of got lost in the whole other system and ended up using the message feature on airbnb to reach out about the keyless system not working and check out instructions. All in all the kitchen had everything we needed, and the location was great for our trip, just a couple hoops to jump through in the process.”airbnb

“This place was great for a location close to Brian Head and near skiing. The amenities are fine and fit our needs okay. We were quite disappointed because the hot tub was not working and we had really been looking forward to that. Also this Air BnB is listed as a ski in ski out property and that is NOT the case. You can not get to the lifts from the property without taking a shuttle (which doesn’t always show) or walking. This is fine but we really were disappointed to find out AFTER checking in that there was absolutely no lift access from our location. The fireplace worked well and the beds were fine - the kitchen was stocked decently for an Air BnB. So a solid stay for accommodations but nothing fabulous like we were expecting.”airbnb

“The main/banner photo for this property clearly shows a front unit - which it is not. It is the rear unit you can see on the left with only a partial view of the mountain. As for the unit itself, the photos are at the very least, out of date. The living room furniture is a mix of very weathered couches or lower quality reclining loveseats. The beds shown in the photos were beautiful, complete with bedspreads, bed runner, pillow shams and dust ruffles. In reality, the beds were as basic as those in my son’s dorm room - just two pillows, sheets and a blanket. Not even a dust ruffles to cover the box springs. Other issues we encountered were related to bathroom showers that had not been wiped down and had long hairs stuck to the walls. The towels were a mix of new, plush white towels and others that were older, gray, and rough. The dinnerware was also a mismatch of ceramic and basic plastic plates and no more than four matching glasses. There were no potholders or trash bags either. Ugh”airbnb

“The heater in the main area didn’t work at all. We would have frozen if there wasn’t a fireplace. The communication was not good. Pretty sure I was either chatting with someone in India or the Philippines or maybe an AI bot.”airbnb
