Explore Poconos's guest rating of 4.79 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“We had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely beautiful, and the surrounding area was just as lovely. It was the perfect setting for our families to relax, spend quality time together, and create lasting memories. One of my favorite moments was enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning while sitting by the lake, taking in the beautiful, peaceful view. It was such a relaxing way to start the day! We also enjoyed boating, kayaking, relaxing in the hot tub, and simply spending time together surrounded by nature. Our weekend was filled with laughter, great company, and unforgettable memories. This getaway was everything we hoped for and more. We would most definitely return and look forward to making even more memories here. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!”airbnb

“It is a clean and lovely house. However, not being allowed to use the indoor fireplace was a very disappointing experience; we had specifically chosen the place for that experience during the rainy weather, yet we weren't permitted to use it. Also, there is no dishwasher. Had we known these two things, we wouldn't have chosen this place. But overall, it is a nice, clean house Thank you”airbnb

“Too many strict rules,Restrictions on everything you think of doing in camping.I don’t recommend at all not only this house all the houses in this community.”airbnb

“Although the host tried to guide guests toward leaving a 5-star review afterward, I still wanted to leave an honest review so future guests know what to expect. Great location, but unfortunately we were disappointed overall. Check-in was very late (5 PM), and the entry code was only sent right before check-in time, which felt stressful and honestly a bit disrespectful and distrust toward guests. The property had many strict rules and warnings about penalties, while basic essentials expected especially in short-term stays were missing (salt, shampoo, body wash, etc.). These are basic accommodations that most Airbnb properties already provide. The grill also barely worked and most burner knobs did not work properly and there was not even a lighter in the house. the outside lighting was extremely poor, At night the entire area became very dark and it was difficult to comfortably enjoy the outdoor space and the heating inside is not sufficient especially for colder weather.”airbnb

“This house was extremely clean and well taken care of. We couldn’t beat the price. There was only 3 of us so we only used half the house, but we had plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed watching basketball games on the big screen tv. It was also a great location for skiing and hiking. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you! The only downside is that they send messages and emails every hour or more. I know information needs to be read, but I had read everything beforehand. I received at least 20 messages and emails about various things. It got annoying after about the 5th one. But I’ll take that for a nice place to stay, I guess.”airbnb

“The home was beautiful and spacious at a great location. The weather didn't quite cooperate so we didn't get to use the dock or fire pit, but that's only mother nature's fault. Overall very satisfied with our stay. The only cons were the late check in and the number of rules.”airbnb

“Disappointed. Positives: clean and cozy. First issue was getting into the gated community - it took over an hour. Part of the delay was that the host did not send our information to security, and we had to proceed to the back of the line of cars. Host was quick to respond when called. Biggest issue is that I searched for a property with a hot tub. Even the title of the property said that there was a hot tub on site. Before arriving we even received CDC guidelines from the host about hot tub safety. Upon arriving, there was no hot tub. I informed them and they said it’s too cold for the blow up hot tub. So I suggested they remove this amenity from their listing. Instead of owning the issue, they then doubled down and I was blamed for not reading the “small print” that indicated that there was no hot tub on the property during the colder months. I then again said that guests will filter properties and this should at least be removed when not available. 48hrs later no change.”airbnb

“This rental does not deserve more than one star. The driveway was icy and unsafe, making it dangerous to get out of the car. Inside, the house was very cold because the air conditioners were still installed in every window, even though electric heaters were provided. The dishwasher did not work properly, which was inconvenient for a large group. Gate access was extremely frustrating—we waited an hour for a pass, and every time we return was same thing The couches smelled unpleasant and were uncomfortable. The listing claims the house accommodates 10 people, but with only three bedrooms, that is misleading. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable, unsafe, and disappointing”airbnb
