“This is our 3rd location we have stayed in mountain village. This one had all the views, big windows, very clean, kid friendly, and my wife’s favorite thing at this house was the built in nugget ice machine!! That was a huge win! More houses should do that!!! Only small thing I found odd was the water pressure was horrible. I couldn’t get warm in shower. Maybe there is a water ordinance here or something? But I would still HIGHLY recommend staying here!”

“We booked our stay at the peak of the fall leaves and were in awe of the picturesque backdrop. The surroundings were breathtaking and the home was beautiful. We would definitely stay again!”

“The property itself is stunning, featuring extraordinary views, an impressive layout, and immense potential. Unfortunately, our week was significantly disrupted by severe maintenance and management failures. Early on, a major top-floor leak flooded through the bathroom into the garage, forcing us to locate and shut off the main water valve in the middle of the night, preventing catastrophic damage to the house and our vehicle. While the emergency line responded, the agency never replied via Airbnb—I had to visit their office twice just to get updates after being told they don’t monitor Airbnb comms. They did send a few updates to my cell, but ignored all Airbnb comms entirely. Despite 5–7 contractors rotating through, they left a hole in the ceiling for the remainder of the week long stay. Despite the lost sleep, stress, and lack of resolution, no partial refund was offered. The home is gorgeous, but poor oversight made our stay more stressful rather than relaxing.”

“The place was wonderful. Walkable to everything in downtown Telluride. We were there in the prime week to see the leaves changing color and the weather was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place was just perfect.”

“The good: The condo itself is nice. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bedrooms are nice. It’s extremely close to the gondola and is a perfect spot for mountain village The bad: Exceptional stays is a mediocre management company at best. I asked to shorten the 5 day trip by one day. I was denied due to their company policy of no changes within 60 days. Alright you have extremely high standards, you have set extremely high standards for the rest of this trip then. So then when I come back one night to someone parked in my parking spot, which they say you’ll be towed if you park elsewhere, I called their 24/7 line. We left 4 separate voicemails with no where to park. We didn’t hear back from them for almost 12 hours. I was promised the car would be moved which it wasn’t for another 12 hours. So i worried about my car getting towed for almost a day because of?? I’m all for high standards but when you’re going to hold me to them, i expect the same. stay elsewhere.”

“Wonderful condo. Perfect for 5 of us. Great location and very walkable to other end of town or to the gondola to head up to Mountain Village. Clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!”

“We had an absolutely incredible stay while visiting for the Telluride Mushroom Festival. The house was in a beautiful and peaceful location. There was plenty of room for everyone and the beds were extremely comfortable. A wonderful deck to watch the stars at night and conveniently had shuttles to take us to and from the gondolas. I highly recommend and would love to stay again.”

“The location was excellent—quiet, walkable, and just steps from the gondola. Unfortunately, the stay did not match the luxury experience advertised. We knew there was no A/C, but the patio doors and most windows didn't work, several screens were broken or missing, and management already knew about these issues before our arrival without disclosing them. We also experienced numerous maintenance problems: broken hairdryer, no dish soap, toilets that wouldn't flush properly, an unreliable dryer, cable TV that never worked, and slow communication. On our final morning, sewage backed up into the master bathroom through the toilet, shower, and tub, making it unusable. Most disappointing was management's response—they blamed us for not reporting every minor issue during our stay, promised a manager would follow up, and never did. Great location, but not worth the price.”

“Great location. Nice beds, great linens. Very comfortable , very nice. Poorly stocked kitchen. We paid very high price to attend the Bluegrass Festival ( $ 9,000 + for 4 nights). As we were bringing a 2 yr. old, we needed an early check in . We were charged an additional $170 for a 3 hour early check in- after paying the above mentioned price for 4 days. Also, the Condo President gave our adult children a difficult time while they unloaded vehicles.”
