Emerald Coast Destinations's guest rating of 4.53 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Great place & location. No gym access even though they have a full functioning gym onsite.”airbnb

“The place was exactly as listed. Beautiful spot and lots to do. The outdoor pool was freezing to the point we couldn’t get in it and the hot tub wasn’t heating, but the indoor pool was heated and indoor hot tub was working so it wasn’t too bad. Short walk to the beach and 24 hour security. The only true complaint is that there is an $85 + tax fee for parking and resort wristbands that you must wear the whole time that was not listed on the booking page. The wristbands also do not come off once put on and you only have a certain amount of extras if you lose/break one before you have to pay $100 for a new one. We weren’t made aware of the charge until the day before we checked in. Overall though, we had a great week and will definitely be booking again for next year!”airbnb

“The stay was beautiful, rooms were clean but the host barely responded on AirBnB. I did most of the communication through a random text and link which seemed like a completely different person than in AirBnB. Also there were not only $7.25 wristbands we had to buy per person once there but also $61.25 parking per vehicle. We had 12 wristbands and 3 vehicles(the max they’ll allow) to pay for that was not an expected expense. The wristbands and parking registration fees cannot be split up either so one person has to take that full bill instead of everyone paying for their own. The listing needs to include much more information before booking and the host should actually respond and only communicate through AirBnB app.”airbnb

“It was my 2nd time staying here. The environment is great for younger kids with the splash pad & the walk in pool. The unit itself needs a little TLC. It could’ve been cleaned much more thoroughly. My family’s feet were black after an hour in the condo. While the kitchen was well stocked with necessities, the cooktop knobs have basically been rubbed off and it makes it challenging to cook on. The gym was closed down last time we visited, and I asked Ryan if it was open now, to which he replied it was not. Therefore, I didn’t pack any athletic clothing. After we arrived, the gym was up and running so that was a little disappointing I received inaccurate information there. Probably won’t stay here again just due to the cleanliness and communication with Ryan. I also had sent a message about a couple things in the unit I noticed after check in but received no response back.”airbnb

“When we checked in, the condo was quite dirty. Floors were sandy and your feet became black as you walked around. There was also glass found on the floor. The condo could use a good cleaning on the floors. The walls could use some cleaning/fresh coat of paint as those seemed dirty. There was food residue left on some cabinets in the kitchen. There was glass found on the floor as well upon check in. Beds however were clean and bathrooms were clean as well. The host is very hard to get ahold of if you need anything and is not responsive. Had to go through Emerald Coast Destinations for any help during our stay. The codes to the pool gates that were provided were incorrect. We had to ask other guests for the code. Parking is a bit tricky upon arrival. Condo is in great location and has great views. Loved the big balcony. This condo has a lot of room and is great when you have a bigger group. Elevators are fast.”airbnb

“My family enjoyed our stay here. The view is amazing and we enjoyed using the pool, hot tub and easy walk to the beach. My kids loved getting ice cream at the corner market and the bar on weekends had live music which was fun! It never got too loud for us but we did bring a noise machine with us to use. During the first few days of our stay the heater for the pool was not on and one of the hot tubs was getting worked on but the last few days the heat was back on and the hot tub was back in order as well. The place was great, but we wished there were more house supplies available like dish soap, toilet paper, etc. One other thing was that when I had questions, I wouldn’t hear back from the host for a long time and sometimes not at all. Overall, it was great stay and would recommend.”airbnb

“Our family chose this condo due to the previous 5 star reviews. However, upon arriving there were so many broken things (dining chairs, couch, outdoor furniture, closet door and more) and also many things that need deep cleaned and new paint. We did let Ryan know immediately on check in day and there was no further response. We cleaned a good bit on check in day just to make it functional for the week. Finding the place and checking in were all extremely easy. The condo amenities were great at Grand Panama resort.”airbnb

“Everything was wonderful! The only suggestion I have is maybe add a few more trash bags and toliet paper. We didnt have enough for the full 5 nights. Also, the parking pass situation was frustrating when we first got there and security waa not educated on the process. but other than that we had a great stay! Thank you!”airbnb

“We love the location. Wonderful the outdoor pool is heated in February. We like the building. The unit needs better maintenance. Many things were in disrepair. Window view photos do not match the listing photos. The view was blocked by the improper installation of rod which blocks the view as shown in listing. The internet is very slow or poor or ? Our concern went unanswered when we requested a reboot. Twice our unit was entered unannounced while we were in it. We slept with a chair against the door to feel secure. The toilet was not bolted to the floor, safety risk. Someone came and bolted it down but did not cut the bolts. The top of coffee table in the living room is broken and putting hand on it caused the top to fall inside, we temporarily fixed it. The hair dryers do not hang in holder and are broken. So many things need fixing. Communication was inconsistent and after checking in took days to respond. We would stay at property again but not this host or unit.”airbnb

“The entire unit needs to be updated. The furniture is old and not comfortable. The mattress was unbearable. The kitchen was not stocked, barely had enough dishes for 1 let alone 6. No extra blankets. The refrigerator needs to be replaced, old and the handles were falling off. Definitely would not stay in again.”airbnb
