EcoLogic Team's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Cozy place to stay. Enough room to fit our family attending my son’s wedding. Comfortable and in a great location.”airbnb

“During our four night stay over Memorial Day weekend, the HVAC system worked properly on the last night only. The first night was cold and the heating system didn't work well. The host was notified immediately and the next day two space heaters were dropped off for a four bedroom house. Over the next three days, the outdoor temperature increased from the upper 70's to mid 80's and the AC didn't work at all for the next two nights. While the host tried to address the issue, we were told to use the portable fans available in the three upstairs rooms. After three consecutive nights of no controllable HVAC, a technician arrived and stated the fan was bad and should be replaced. While the host was responsive with communication, the whole HVAC issue made it an undesirable experience. Note that the one (master) bedroom on the main floor does not have an attached bathroom. You must walk through the living room and dining room to get to the full bathroom on the main floor.”airbnb

“The homes surrounding the airbnb were run down, and lots of dogs barking at all hours of the day and night. When reading the description, I assumed there was 1 assigned parking spot and then one in the front. However, it is a free for all when parking on the street. We had a bee issue as there were three trees near the parking spot and back yard that was attracting bees. There is also no covering on the back patio. These combined made it a little uncomfortable to be outside in the hottub or just visiting.”airbnb

“At $4,000 a month, this stay is a masterclass in subtractive hospitality. The experience is defined by what is missing: a couch in the living room, paper towels, trash bags, and any form of cleaning supplies. While an oven is provided, the absence of bakeware or oven mitts renders it a decorative box. The dryer is broken, and I was informed it is too expensive to repair—a bold claim to make to a guest paying luxury rates. The property’s hygiene is questionable, evidenced by a television remote coated in sticky soda residue. Structurally, the house is temperamental; doors refuse to stay shut unless locked, and the locks require the precision of a safecracker to engage. Externally, the crumbling driveway is a shared battleground with a neighbor, while the road serves as a loud, high-traffic cut-through. To conclude the experience, the hosts forced an undisclosed external contract upon us after payment and refused pre-stay questions due to “automated messages” they set up.”airbnb

“The location is fabulous since it is a short walk to the lake, restaurants, and food markets. However, I discovered a urine-stained bath mat. I probably wouldn't have noticed it if I hadn't stayed for five weeks. Also, there is a circular crevice on the front lawn, which about 10 feet from the entrance. Once stepping in it I fell flat on my face, and when I notified the owners about it, their only response was, "Sorry for the inconvenience."”airbnb

“Empty koi pond right at entrance very dangerous, ant roach and fly infestation, many guests left the home after 1 night. Bunk beds are unstable and missing screws, no heat at all in 2 rooms. Those 2 rooms are not a part of the main house. One bathroom is outside no way to get to it from inside the house. Our personal belongings were covered in ants, the outlets don’t work, I would not come back to this house or suggest it to anyone else. We found a dead huge roach while stripping the beds on the day of check out, the host has refused any type of compensation.”airbnb

“Significant utility issues during our stay, including loss of electricity that caused the refrigerator to fail and approximately $300 worth of groceries to spoil. We were told electricity was working when it was not, and that the only issue was water, which left us nearly two days without the ability to shower. Repairs were repeatedly delayed with no clear timeline. Communication frequently shifted blame onto us, including claims that utilities being down was acceptable because our car was not in the parking lot, which was untrue and irrelevant. Utilities should be functional for an active reservation regardless of guest presence. These were part of multiple ongoing issues throughout our stay. Overall, we were unable to properly enjoy our stay and found the experience very stressful and disappointing.”airbnb

“Don’t stay.Horrible, dirty, & unsafe. I never leave bad reviews but this place was beyond bad. They said they didn’t clean because they didn’t know we were coming. Appliances didn’t work fence stays open to roadway. No bedding, pillows, towels. Glass all over the yard with multiple holes in the fence. Shed full of sharp metal and doesn’t close. Dead bugs and lizards inside. Over charged on advertised pet fee. Flooring cracked and a door propped up which was dangerous. Smelled horrible. They said they would compensate us for all our troubles once we checked out and then told us because we checked out they wouldn’t compensate us for anything even the overcharged pet fee and bedding we needed to buy purse. The most frustrating part of it all was that they advertise it as a safe secure place for pets and animals which was not at all the case especially with the front fence being wide open to a main roadway and 3 other openings in the fence. They had HUGE glass pieces all over the property.”airbnb
