“We loved our time at this place. It was quiet. The beach was pristine. We loved how close it is to some of our favorite restaurants. The condo was well stocked with everything you need for the beach. Just a few steps and you are on the beach which we love! Nothing like longboat key…”

“Location location location! This place is truly right across from the beach. It has a great bungalow charm and plenty of space for guests. The home was very clean and had plenty of supplies for a beach day! However when we arrived the pool was dirty. We reached out immediately and were told the pool guy comes on Saturday, we checked in Friday. They sent a maintenance guy to skim the pool however it needed to be vacuum so he didn’t do anything. I later got in and moved the debris around enough so I could clean it and make it worth getting into. The pool also needs some major TLC, the paint is chipping off and possibly has a leak as we had to fill it while we were there. I will add as well that the pool guy came and clean however he put a ton of chemicals in it and so when we got in that night it bleach several suits and shorts. Overall the place is a good find but be aware the pool does not look like the listings pictures.”

“Great location on beach. Quiet, private space. Shady covered porch area. Only downside was broken beach umbrella. Kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of towels. Very clean. Would definitely come back!”

“Positives: - wonderful location - second house back from the beach and walkable to shops and restaurants - spacious - plenty of room for me, my husband, daughter and dog - kitchen was well-equipped - beach cart, beach toys and umbrella were provided - pool was nice to enjoy in the afternoons - the turf in the backyard was great for our dog Negatives: My only complaint is the AC. It works, but not great. Granted it was pretty hot when we were in AMI (in the upper 80s) but the AC had trouble keeping the house below 74. Many days the house was 76+ degrees during the day and then would finally cool off through the night, only to rise again the next day. Two of the bedrooms had a lot of trouble remaining cool, which was frustrating. I did reach out to Duncan about this and they said that AC units have trouble keeping up with the hot Florida temperatures. Yes maybe, but I’ve stayed in other airbnbs in Florida that did not have this issue. Other than the AC, the house worked well for us.”

“No linens for sofa bed. Patio was black which was the only place to sit and eat. Not typical sand etc. not cleaned in months! Bathroom rug was definitely used previously and not washed. The Only closet was used for storage; paint, flooring and air filters. Love the area but won’t stay here again.”

“Good location, walkable distance to beach and parks. Pool is a bit bigger in person than photo shown which was a plus. My only recommendation take mosquito spray. The minute we arrived we were eaten by mosquitos in the kitchen, living room and pool area. The room nearest to the kitchen had a couple of cockroaches. This is not the renters do more the cleaners, one of the rooms had a kids dirty sock, candy wrappers and a bunch of used tissue papers between the mattress and headboard, which had me question wither the sheets were removed or not. That same rooms restroom smelt horrible unfortunately. We kept the door closed and used the restroom in the hall. Kitchen well equipped, you have everything you need. Overall still enjoyed the stay due to its location, you are there to enjoy the island after all!”

“This place was absolutely horrible. The pictures on the site look like they were taken years ago and do not accurately represent what the property looks like now. The house was disgusting there was hair in the shower, hair in the sink, and even a hairball on the floor. The photos I saw on Airbnb looked nothing like the place in person. I was extremely disappointed and felt completely misled by the listing. Even Airbnb customer service acknowledged that the property appeared very different from what was advertised. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The condition of the property was unacceptable, and the listing should accurately reflect what guests can expect when the arrive.”

“The location was absolutely incredible! You’re almost perfectly situated between the ocean and the bay, and it’s an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We also loved that the rental included beach chairs, a wagon, and floaties, which made our beach days much easier. The biggest issue was the confusion about the pool. I initially thought it wasn’t included, but then received a message offering to heat it for an additional $150, so I assumed we had access. Later, we were told only Unit B (which was vacant) could use the pool. That was disappointing and should have been communicated more clearly. The beds were very firm, and unfortunately none of our guests slept well. The pillows were also uncomfortable, and the living room seating wasn’t very relaxing since it was furnished with outdoor-style furniture. Overall, the location was the best part of our stay, but the comfort and pool communication could be improved as well as the beds.”

“First, I’ll start with the positive. Anna Maria is beautiful. The North end is so peaceful. And this house is in a great location. Having a private pool was nice- it is small, but it was nice. Now for some “opportunities”. The bedrooms are clearly additions or lacking insulation- they are 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. The only path from inside the house to the pool is through the master bedroom. The backyard needs work- the shed is an eyesore, there’s some sketchy electrical around the deck, and there were empty cans in the yard when we got there. And the half bathroom (also doesn’t get the AC), has no outlet anywhere near the mirror. When the unit has 1 bath, it’s hard to get ready when there’s no outlet. Final thoughts- I cannot understand why these rentals don’t have mirrors in the bedrooms. When 4 people are there, you have to get in and out of the bathroom quickly and it would be nice to have a mirror to use in the bedrooms.”

“This is a great place and would def stay again! We did have a small hickup and the hot tub was not hot and pool did not filter until Tuesday afternoon when they could get someone out to fix it!! There was no skimmer either and had to wait for someone to bring one. That was a big disappointment because i booked this place for the pool and hot tub!!!”
