Day Drinking Properties

Day Drinking Properties's guest rating of 4.76 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Location is excellent and the townhouse units are modern and nice. It's especially nice that every bedroom has an attached private bathroom. We had several issues, however. First, there was an unexpected "deposit" that was required for damages. This was not clearly listed. If nothing happened, it was returned. But this was not listed clearly and caused issues with my business credit card. When I messaged the host, all responses were AI generated and the actual host never replied. Second, while there were blinds in each room, no curtains were provided and there was quite a bit of light leakage into the bedrooms. Third, the listing mentioned that toiletries were provided, but only the first floor bathroom had shower gel and shampoo. Finally, the house is on a railroad that runs early in the morning. This was only heard in the back bedroom, but it did wake me up.”airbnb

“Airbnb should seriously review this listing. The property was no longer under David’s ownership/management when we arrived, yet our reservation remained confirmed. I messaged David shortly after booking, but he never informed us of any ownership or management issue. On the day of check-in, I contacted him for check-in instructions and received no response. We only learned about the situation after arriving at the property and getting into a serious dispute over our confirmed reservation. Even after Airbnb became involved, David did not take responsibility for resolving the situation. This was an extremely stressful and unacceptable experience and, by far, the worst Airbnb experience I have ever had.”airbnb

“They put me in a place with no AC. I told them it doesn’t work they moved me next door told me I can stay there one night and told me I had to go back to the Airbnb that didn’t have any ac because they had someone else coming. Then I went back to the original Airbnb they told me I couldn’t stay there and said I had to get a hotel room they paid 146 for the room but charged me 457 a night so I’m wondering where’s the rest of my money at”airbnb

“Clothes washer was not working. No wash clothe in main bathroom or body soap in any bathroom. Pee stain on upstairs bed with no mattress cover. A bit far from Broadway. Clean outside of the above mattress.”airbnb

“The epitome of Airbnb's worst aspects. The description sounds like some guy just doing it for fun. Upon arrival it's a row of townhomes that are new, poorly built, and only used for airbnb. The parking was not ample, the townhome feels like a model instead of a home, and there are rules posted all over the house. Once inside it is an echo chamber and some very unsafe stairs. Not only is the description wrong in many ways, the houses design is horrendous with the kitchen on the 2nd floor, paint that won't clean, bugs everywhere, and a hot garage converted into a useless playroom. Along a 15 minute walk to the only place for food and drinks closeby, we noticed that we were yelling the entire time until we got back inside due to the noise of the a/c's. Nashville, DDP and Airbnb should not be allowed to ruin local communities with this "business model." Getting in was easy, getting out and never looking back was the best part.”airbnb

“House was ok, but lots of rules. Clean all dishes, put sheets bed sheets on the laundry machine before we leave, had to make sure all dishes are clean, had to leave all towels in front of the machine. felt like we were the housekeeper. and they charge us extra money for cleaning.”airbnb

“The house was nice and spacious! We enjoyed our stay. But, arrival day we noticed an issue with the stove knob not working. We reached out and were told maintenance crew would check issue the next day. We followed up that evening and were left with a “well reach out to our team and get back to you”. Upon check out (5 days later) knob still hadn’t been looked at. And unfortunately the Master Closet wasn’t able to be used to its fullest as there was a futon in it. Not what pictures showed! Listing title also said 5 mins to Broadway, which was a drawing in factor it was a bit farther!! Overall it wasn’t terrible!”airbnb

“Some of the towels and sheets were stained. One of my guest wore makeup and sheets were white so of course some makeup got on the pillow case, which is easily machine washable. David attempted to charge my card for liability insurance due to stains. Clean up fee is automatically charged when reserving therefore washing the sheets is not something guests should have to do or be charged if stain is present. Cleaners should just wash the items. No microwave in the property. I contacted host about broken table and some other small things and he responded to acknowledge. As a guest you have to go around the property and report anything you see because if not it could be blamed on you and maybe get charged for it.”airbnb

“We ran into a few things with our stay that didn’t fit the description. We worked with the management company (day drinking properties) and they failed to help. We just got a bunch of what felt like generated responses and promises that were never met. We reached out through Airbnb and had a much better experience getting ahold of someone to be able to bring up some of the issues and get a solution for one of the issues. The ladder on the bunkbed is a hazard and is assembled incorrectly along with being held with only two screws. The smaller toaster was broken, pan in kitchen extremely rusted, floor boards just about everywhere were peeling on kitchen level, missing bath plug to give a bath ready for kids, no pack and play until mentioned through Airbnb, ice maker in garage AND kitchen doesn’t work, along with microwave doesn’t open to be able to use it. For all that to be gone or broken we’d considered the place not “family friendly” and just meant for Bach parties.”airbnb
