Manager Review

Coveted Hospitality

Coveted Hospitality's guest rating of 4.59 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

I booked Coveted Hospitality property for family group as we were in North Carolina for an important family celebration. The response time to queries was less than an hour. The property is nice and located close to airport. It was clean but the colour of the beddings and towels are too dark color for everyone in the group. It was a good job that a room was located in the middle for the elderly people in my group and a toilet is located on same floor for them to use however they are required to climb stairs to use shower/bath. To our surprise there was power cut on the 7th day of our stay which lasted for about 2hours in deep heat of summer. It was very uncomfortable for the elderly among us. I contacted Coveted Hospitality soon as we noticed power cut, they apologised that they will look into it. I had to text Coveted Hospitality that I would be contacting Airbnb for emergency relocation and claim refund then the electricity was restored. There was no general power cut in the area.

Overall, we would stay here again for the number of bedrooms, proximity to family, and nearby playground. The home is spacious, but several issues are worth noting. -The required third-party portal made booking complicated. We were initially told each adult needed to submit a selfie and ID, only to later learn that names were sufficient. We also had to choose between a refundable $500 deposit and a nonrefundable daily fee. Repeated warnings about fines, unauthorized guests, noise, and removal felt excessive. -The house also needs more attention. The “fully equipped” kitchen lacked basics such as potholders, baking pans, mixing bowls, measuring spoons, and adequate measuring cups. We encountered squeaky doors and beds, a shower rod that fell repeatedly, a loose towel rack, exposed carpet staples, fragile blinds that made the patio door impossible to use, and some cleanliness concerns. With better maintenance, supplies, and a simpler check-in process, this could easily be a 5-star stay!

House was very spacious is the good think about it, but do not like that they never tell me when I did my reservation about to to pay insurance or higher deposit at last minute no good; also, carpet is old and looks horrible they need to replace it asap They send to much messages remembering rules rules and rules that makes me feel like uncomfortable

Upon booking through app, was asked to do a pre check-in through 3rd party website where I had to upload my ID and pay an additional fee outside of what I was already charged through Air bnb. The kitchen was essentially unusable due to the lack of pots, pans, pot holders, and broken dishes. After visiting a local theme park all day, we came back to realize there were only 2 wash cloths for the entire family. The townhouse is close to an airport and the noise level is rather unfortunate and kept us up at night. I will say, we liked that it was an end unit, and we had no issues finding the location. The beds were comfy and there lots of pillows. Check-in and out were very easy. Upon checkout, I received a call from the rental company asking why I rated it 4 stars. I explained all the above, and the agent asked if there was any way they could compensate us to make up for “the minor inconveniences” because they really wanted a 5 star review. Overall, just an okay stay.

The place was very nice overall, but there were several inconveniences during our stay. The beds were uncomfortable, and one of the full-size beds had unstable legs, which made it feel unsafe. Parking was also a major issue. There is no public or visitor parking available, and vehicles are at risk of being towed. Guests must be approved in advance for parking, which was extremely inconvenient. Additionally, the outdoor trash bins were completely full upon arrival, so we had no choice but to leave our trash outside the back and inside the house. The kitchen was also lacking basic cooking supplies and bowls. To make matters worse, the electrical circuits in the living area repeatedly shut off, requiring my husband to go outside in the rain to reset them.

Our stay turned into a traumatic experience when a bullet was shot through the 3rd floor window during the evening while there were 8 children in the home. I am 7 months pregnant, and this situation was emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausting. Thankfully no one was physically hurt, but the entire experience left our family terrified and shaken. What made things even worse was the complete lack of compassion and urgency from the host afterward. No meaningful accommodations or support were offered despite the severity of the situation. Instead of showing concern for the safety and well-being of the guests, the host compared our trauma to the inconvenience of having to pay thousands of dollars to replace a window, even stating that we were “both victims.” That response was incredibly insensitive considering a life could have been lost. The communication and handling of the situation after it was reported were extremely disappointing.

My family was very disappointed with this property. It was overpriced as we did not receive the 5-star service and amenities advertised. The property was not very clean nor available at designated 4:00 p.m. check-in time. Bed mattresses are uncomfortable. The bedding and bath linens are very worn and should be replaced. There was a notice sent our first night to move our luxury vehicles and park on the street for the entire weekend. No maintenance was done to property parking lot or garage. The cookstove and oven were also dirty. Host verbally committed to providing some compensation when multiple issues were promptly brought to their attention. I haven't heard from them except to request a great rating. They did apologize but it sounds insincere without honoring their commitment. Poor customer service. I regret staying at this property on my nephew's graduation weekend. I would not recommend doing business with this host team, Coveted Hospitality.

This was the WORST experience I’ve ever had! If I could post pictures, I would. I don’t recommend anyone to stay here. Host said he didn’t know, but sent someone out to “handle” the roach problem…made it worse because the “handle” put Boric Acid down and the roaches came out the woodwork!!! Not only that, I had my grandkid that was exposed to all the Boric Acid…this was by far the most uncomfortable Airbnb I’ve stayed in. The place was clean, but don’t plug the stove up…that’s when the family comes out…and it wasn’t mine! If they took care of the ROACHES, it would a nice place. They were worried about how many visitors came with me, but it wasn’t express that we had to share the place with ROACHES! This discouraged me from ever wanting to do Airbnb again…I highly don’t recommend, unless you like ROACHES
