“Actual check in and pet registration was different at the location than instructions given. Everything else was great!”

“Upon entering the building a very bad oder was smelt. We booked for 2 nights and the next morning we had to leave it was so bad. I don’t know if it was mold or cooking from another unit but it was overwhelming. I asked for a refund for the 2nd night but was denied. Would never have booked if someone had posted this place was so run down. Very disappointed”

“The location was great and the views were beautiful. The kitchen was a little dirty. Sleeping area was clean. For being at the beach the living area wasn’t sandy!”

“Our stay was pleasant and the unit was s described. Unfortunately, there was NO internet connection the entire weekend even though we were told Friday the company was “ working on it”…Sunday, still no internet. Overall, the stay was comfortable and convenient for our purposes.”

“I'll start with the deck being a safety hazard, nearly stepped through it the first night. Next day the deck next to us was being replaced by a bunch of drug heads making noise all day. Without any prior notice, on the last day of our stay another deck contractor climbed up onto our 3rd story deck at 8:45 AM and began tearing it apart. So much noise we had to leave for the day. Then they left the job unfinished with no railing or any kind of barrier to keep someone from falling to their death. Maybe they hoped I would so I couldn't write this review. I forgot to mention the stench in the hallway when you enter the buildings, it's a cross between dead body and stale beer. NEVER will rent from Cool Vacay again or as we now call it Uncool Decay.”

“We have stayed in this location before. Was nice and definitely affordable for the area. Our check in was not easy as we arrived after hours (check in is 4 pm and office closes at 5pm) Picked up keys and map to our room, however the map was not to our room and everything highlighted was wrong. Locating the room/building in the dark after a long trip was hard. When we finally found our room, there was clothing in the draws, so we were confused if it was the right room still. Toilet handle was not working properly and we found hair in the shower. The queen bed headboard wasn't attached properly to the bed and the mattress was so hard that we went out to buy a cheap topper for it for the next few days. The views were beautiful and the area was just right. We would still stay again, hoping the next time is better.”

“The room was clean. However some of the appliances were outdated. Rugs and furniture are also outdated. The buildings are rundown and the area could use maintenance. The entry into the building was dirty and had a terrible odor. Definitely not worth what we paid.”

“Room was dirty, bedding had blood or bodily fluids stains. Pull out couch was covered in dirt, hair and crumbs. Floor was sticky. Bathroom had a mildew odor. Pool and hot tub seems to have not been serviced or maintained in a while. Photos were deceiving. Balcony and ocean view was the highlight”

“This was one of the most disturbing experiences our family has ever had. During our stay, a child drowned in the pool. It was absolutely heartbreaking and deeply traumatic to be around. We could no longer use the pool or feel comfortable on the property, yet Airbnb refused any refund and showed zero compassion. Instead, they pointed to “no lifeguard” signs, which felt cold and dismissive given the severity of what happened. The situation was made even worse by the check in process. We were never told this involved a timeshare office. We waited over 20 minutes because Jacey left at check in, and when she returned she was hostile, accused us of lying, and spoke down to us. Completely unprofessional. Between the tragedy, lack of empathy, and disrespectful treatment, this stay was upsetting and unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.”
