Coastal Life Vacations
4.49Visit website
Coastal Life Vacations's guest rating of 4.49 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“It was nice, however there were too many ants and when we let them know they said they’ll bring over any baits and never did, nor did they respond to the microwave going out, other than that it was nice.”airbnb

“Have never left a bad review, but want to give a heads up to future guests. We arrived to an empty toilet paper roll with NO extra TP, no hand soap, no hand towels, no paper towels, no dish soap, sponge, dishwasher pods, coffee supplies, or even salt and pepper. The two giant blue bags in the kitchen? Our bedding and towels. Yep...you get to make all 5 beds yourself, with color-coded instructions to figure out what goes where. 😆 Also, not a single rug or sandy-foot mat anywhere in a BEACH rental, so good luck keeping sand off the floors. I called management about the lack of toilet paper and was told they’d get back to me. Never did..but they DID remember to ask me for a review, so here it is. 😂The no-paper-products policy is buried in the listing, so WARNING BRING TP!!! One block from the beach, but the water was packed with jellyfish during our stay and my son was stung in the shore break!!😅 Honestly, Should have just paid for two hotel rooms. At least the beds would’ve been made”airbnb

“I cannot recommend Coastal Life Vacations based on my experience. My family paid nearly $2,500 for a three-night stay but had to leave after the first night because the property was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. We found stained bedding, food left in the refrigerator, used socks, and a box of JUUL inside drawers. These were clear signs the home had not been properly cleaned before our arrival. The next morning, my daughter woke up with what appeared to be multiple bug bites after sleeping in one of the bedrooms, which made us even more uncomfortable staying. When I contacted Coastal Life Vacations, they only stated they would address the issues with their cleaning team. Thankfully, Airbnb Support took our concerns seriously, reviewed our documentation, and worked with us through AirCover to reach a fair resolution. I appreciate Airbnb’s professionalism, but I hope Coastal Life Vacations significantly improves its cleaning standards.”airbnb

“The property was materially inconsistent with its listing and fell well below acceptable standards of cleanliness, safety, and preparedness. The bed linen was soiled and visibly dirty; the bed beside the garage was unstable and excessively squeaky; and the kitchen lacked sufficient cutlery. The property was dusty and inadequately cleaned, while the garage had a strong unpleasant odor and required thorough scrubbing. Only after payment were we told that guests had to make their own beds – an important condition that should have been disclosed beforehand. Although advertised as a four-bedroom property, the purported fourth bedroom was simply the bed next to the garage. These deficiencies left us no reasonable choice but to leave immediately and seek alternative accommodation late at night, significantly disrupting our holiday. The experience was underwhelming and profoundly disappointing. Book at your own peril. On a positive note, Airbnb processed our refund promptly.”airbnb

“This place was just okay. Location is great, walkable to boardwalk/beach and lots of food options around. I had asked for early check in & they said that wasn’t possible even though they asked if I wanted to come a day early since no one would be there. Upon arrival, we had to put the linen on the beds even though that was not mentioned before. The pillow covers & blanket were still on the beds which makes me wonder if they actually clean those since we were asked to leave them on the bed & remove the sheets underneath. The beds were SO old & hard. The bed frame was bad & in the first room had a huge hole in the wall due to the bed frame hitting it. The shower doors had hard water stains & in the 2nd bathroom, the water would pool when you showered. There was also dust/hair on the dressers. The location was great, I just wish this place was more accommodating especially for the price and for having to put on our own sheets, take out the trash, wash the dishes, etc.”airbnb

“Great location, convenient parking. I prefer rentals where beds are made but that’s just their policy to not make them. I question if comforters are washed because we had to leave them on beds. I was disappointed that when we checked in the clean towels and bedding were not there so we checked in to having someone else’s dirty linens in the room and not having clean towels so we could shower before our plans for dinner.”airbnb

“The house itself is great for a large group, with plenty of living room space for everyone to gather, and the location was fantastic. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the home did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price. The floors, bathrooms, and countertops could have been much cleaner. After walking around the living room, everyone’s socks were black from the floors, and there was still toothpaste in the master bathroom sink when we arrived. One of the bedrooms is located in the basement, which is attached to the garage. It was dirty, dusty, and had bugs on the floor, making it feel less inviting than the rest of the house. Communication was another downside. The host was very slow to respond, so if you needed an answer within a few hours, it was difficult to get timely assistance.”airbnb

“Would definitely stay here again - perfect rental for a family vacation. Large condo for families and a nice living area and beautiful outdoor space. Convenient parking and location for the beach and other stuff to do. For the cost, I would’ve expected them to have the bare minimum toiletries (toilet paper, soap, etc) and either less check out instructions or a later check-out. All together a great place to stay but expected a little more given the cost.”airbnb

“Pros: Property was in a convenient walkable location. Included normal essentials. Cons: water pressure was a trickle. My beach towel was stolen from the balcony. The door stopped locking. The lock on the gate never worked. A lady knocked on the door at 9:59am, as we were loading the car up, to make sure we were leaving on time. Property management people are snarky- wording of communication comes off as rude.”airbnb

“Listing said no pets but there was dog hair all over, especially in Master bedroom. When we contacted Coastal, I guess that only applies to renters not the owner of the unit- they can bring their dog. They offered to send cleaning services but we ended up cleaning for our first few hours because our son is allergic to dogs so needed to do right away. I as not happy! Not good!! Deceiving description. And dog hair was disgusting. Nice unit but full of the owners dogs hair!”airbnb
