“Very nice property with lots of amenities. My daughters loved the pool. Also there was a lot of beach going items to take in the closet (to include wagon, umbrellas, chairs, beach mat) that proved invaluable for our stay. The only problem is during arrival door our code was not sent in air bnb email, happy stays app, etc. thus we could not get in. Multiple attempts were made to contact however we didn’t receive a response until the next day around 7:30 am local time. Besides that everything else was perfect.”

“Everything was great, except the code to get into the gates was incorrect. Luckily, we were meeting friends that had the correct codes. Also, part of our 2 top bunk beds were broken and somewhat of a safety hazard for our young children. Wish there were a few other basics like coffee filters, and everyday condiments but otherwise it was a big, nice place!”

“30a was incredible, this house is 2 spots over from the incredible neighborhood pool and right across from a path that takes you to the beach and also the nature walk. I would have loved to stay here again, had I not had issues with the host trying to accuse us of breaking their damaged golf cart, after we clearly reported something was wrong. I spent my entire birthday boat adventure going back and forth with the owners about it, which was very depressing. It also couldn’t be fixed, which meant we couldn’t use it at night so we had to rent bikes and for the money we paid, that’s just not acceptable. I also asked about pillow cases at one point because the master only had one set of pillows but I found a ton in the closet, I just couldn’t find any of the cases. Same with asking about beach equipment. There was also a roach problem, to the point where our kids made a game out of turning lights on to see how many they could find in different rooms. Not the warmth I’m used to with Airbnb.”

“While the house has a great size & a highly convenient location within walking distance to several places, our stay fell short due to severe cleanliness, communication, and safety issues. The property was not up to standard. We encountered visible dust, spider webs, unwashed kitchen pots, a leaking refrigerator, and mattress covers with bloodstains. Basic amenities were severely lacking; we were provided only 8 face towels for 5 guests over a three-night stay, with no extra blankets or basic kitchen condiments like salt and pepper. Most concerningly, an unidentified 3rd party maintenance worker entered the home unannounced through the garage with zero prior notice or ID, violating the rental terms & making our family feel incredibly unsafe. When we contacted the host about the leak and the security breach, they failed to follow up and provided automated, dismissive responses with little accountability. Due to these major safety & cleanliness concerns, we do Not recommend this property!”

“Beautiful home with plenty of hot water for everyone to shower. However, several issues impacted our stay. There were no coffee supplies or filtered drinking water upon arrival. The community pool was closed Monday through Friday, and Coastal Dreamin’ did not notify us beforehand. The golf cart is only practical for the neighborhood and beach, not 30A or grocery stores. It had bald tires, an inaccurate battery gauge, and died while we were away. We were charged the tow fee despite these maintenance issues. The basketball goal was unusable because no ball was provided. The washer smelled of mildew, the coffee maker only brewed two cups at a time, and the kitchen lacked basics like salt, pepper, and olive oil. No throw blankets were available for the couch. Communication felt very corporate rather than guest-focused. Not friendly. No special touches to make us feel welcome. Would not stay again.”

“The location of redfish is perfect and the amenities are wonderful. The actual unit is pretty but had stains on the bedspread and candy wrappers by the bunk beds. I contacted the host when we first arrived about a broken shower handle and a work order was placed but nobody ever came so we were down a shower the entire stay. Additionally, the refrigerator has a problem. It stops cooling periodically and we lost $70 of meat that went bad. We tried moving things around and thought we solved it, but it continued to give us problems until the last night.”

“The home was in a nice and peaceful location. The only thing with this house was the cleaning. We had to wash the sheets before going to bed, they had stains and debris as if someone just made the bed without changing the sheets. The furniture was filthy ( the kitchen table seatings pads, the living room pillows, the couches were horrible). The bathrooms tub and sinks still had someone else's hair in them and the floors had hair ALL over them. I went and got a broom to sweep the floors. Someone left a dish in the window after they were finished eating and they also left a cup on the back where they had been smoking. This is by far the worst house I've ever stayed in when it comes to cleaning. Although the house wasn't cleaned properly, it was in a good location and it had the amenities that we needed.”

“The house itself was pretty. However, the wifi didn’t work. When I contacted support, they said it’s usually spotty. Well if we knew that we wouldn’t have booked here, as we had people working on our trip who needed it. Additionally, the door code didn’t work upon check in. The 4th floor patio door wouldn’t stay shut which resulted in rain coming into home, us having to clean up with towels and tie it shut with towels. Additionally, it let cockroaches in which were also all over the garage and pool area…. Maybe because of location (lots of nature) in backyard but regardless gross.”

“I’ve stayed in Prominence many times and have always had great experiences, so I came into this stay with certain expectations. This was my first time in this particular unit. The biggest issue was the no pool/beach towels being provided. As out-of-state travelers with young children, having to make an extra trip to the store before we could enjoy the pool was frustrating. It also meant having to squeeze towels into our suitcases for the trip home, which was an unnecessary inconvenience. We also arrived without a door code and had to contact the help line to gain access. The host didn’t reach out until the next morning to assist. I was surprised there was no coffee at all provided, the fridge water filter was expired, and basic items like scissors were unavailable. The beds were not very comfortable, and overall the home felt more like a basic hotel stay than a well-stocked vacation rental. Having stayed in several other Prominence units, this one lacked thoughtful touches expected.”

“Stains on beds, dirty floors, pubic hairs on shampoo area in guest bathroom. For this price look around several other listings in much better shape. I let them know and asked if they want to compensate for this horrible stay and all they reply is that they have a “professional company come out and clean prior to each rental” obviously false since I have the pictures that show otherwise. It’s a shame I can’t post them here. Also master bedroom mattress is caved in the middle.”
