“We stayed at Walk on Water and overall had a nice visit. The location is great, quiet, peaceful, and close to everything we needed. The community pool was a huge hit with our kids, and the house itself was comfortable and matched the description. A couple of things to be aware of, though: the house must have been closed up for a few days before we arrived, because there was a wet, musty smell at first. It cleared up completely once we got the air circulating, so not a dealbreaker, but something to note. Also, the kitchen was missing basic condiments (salt, oil, etc.), which was a little surprising, so plan accordingly. The only real downside for us was the full-size bed mattress, it wasn't very supportive and made for a few restless nights. If you're sensitive to that, you might want to bring a topper or plan around it. All in all, a good stay in a great spot!"”

“We enjoyed the condo. The beach was great. The pool was nice. The beds were okay. The ocean view balcony was amazing. We were a little disappointed with the lack of kitchen and bath essentials. I don't remember reading this in the Airbnb description. However, it was communicated upon checking in. For example, for 4 people, staying 4 nights, they provide two rolls of very cheap toilet paper. The hand soap and dish soap are provided in a little hotel squeeze bottles. They do not provide any "food items". So there are no spices in the kitchen. This wasn't a big deal - it was just inconvenient. I really didn't want to shop for toilet paper on a short stay. When we first started staying at Airbnb's, this was more common. However, in recent years, it's rare. Most places are well-stocked. Overall, it was a good spot on the beach.”

“Overall, great experience. Normally I would book a private home. I decided to take a last minute trip with my children and this was the perfect place. the location is perfect, a few steps to the pool, and a few steps to the beach. I would definitely book again.”

“Great little house for a weekend getaway. Watch out for the late check-in and make sure you bring your own beach and bath towels since the ones they provide are not very nice.”

“We were very disappointed in the overall condition of the house, especially for the price and the misleading photos. Badly needs some reinvestment of proceeds, and a deep clean on top of that. Everything from screens with holes in them, to rotten woodwork outside, to a BBQ grill that probably hasn't worked in years, and so on. It's clear that basic maintenance is being ignored. For example, the tree limbs out side bang against the house in heaving winds, making it impossible to sleep in the upstairs bedroom. And it is downright CRUEL to leave out a video game console that children can see, only to find out that there's no chargers for the remotes. Our boy literally cried over that. And, by the way, there's no way that railing on the top deck is safe. Anyway, my opinion of Costal Caroline Vacation is as low as it gets. I'll be sure to tell my friends.”

“Our family loved staying here. The pool, splash pad and volleyball court are great for kids. We highly recommend this house. It was central to a lot, we enjoyed the beach and sand dunes (Jockey’s Ridge).”

“Perfect for our group of 10 for a long weekend get away. Perfect location with stores a 5 minute walk and the beach and beach club a 3 minute drive. Over all it was a great stay. The few downsides are bring your own beach equipment as the items provided had mold on them, we were unable to locate the pack 'n play, and the high chair is more of a collapsing booster. Also poor lighting in the hot tub area if looking for that.”

“Lovely house right on the sand. In fact sand was so soft, made it difficult to park and walk around the house. House as advertised - small, quaint, simple. Immediate beach access out the door - you could hear the waves all night. Discouraged that someone came and stole the rented chairs we arranged before we arrived. No resolution to that issue yet. Was very uncomfortable with all the people accessing the beach right through the driveway for the house itself. Could hear people walking by the house all night.”

“Nice airbnb! Nice hot top, very nice location. Only issue was sent the wrong wifi information first night and didn’t get a response until the next morning (couldn’t use my laptop) but other than that no complaints.”
