Chase 'n Rainbows by Castle Resorts

Chase 'n Rainbows by Castle Resorts's guest rating of 4.62 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

The best is the location, close to the Coconut Marketplace and view of the ocean. Also perfect for trips any direction. Key code worked fine for me. The inside is not impressive but all rooms are the same/furniture. No stove, just MW, toaster and coffee maker.mixer for smoothies (didn’t use). Small fridge has tiny “open” freezer that really needs defrosting!!! Other guess already mentioned it but nothing was done about it. When I asked they didn’t even know if there is freezer or not. Closet and drawers smell very stale/wet. Got some dryer sheets and put them in, that helped. Pillows smelled like wet dog hair. Glad I brought my own pillow case. Sheet is not fitted and will get undone. Bed was comfortable otherwise. Inside shower curtain should be replaced Bathtub drains very slow. There is smal cool box+3 ice blocks to use and yoga mat. I left behind travel guide and floating thing. Extra lotions and other products are under sink. Free ice Mashines in the next building.Pool is great

We had a wonderful stay at Kapaa Sands Resort. The biggest highlight is the fantastic oceanfront location and the breathtaking views from the balcony. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves made our stay truly special. The property is surrounded by beautiful tropical landscaping that creates a true Hawaiian atmosphere. The apartment is very well equipped, with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a good kitchen, reliable Wi-Fi, a modern TV, and convenient parking just steps away. Restaurants, coffee shops, and stores are within walking distance, and most of Kauai’s attractions can be reached within 40–50 minutes by car. Swimming directly in front of the resort is limited, but a very nice beach with a protected swimming area is only a few minutes away. The only significant drawback was maintenance follow-through. We reported issues with the shower drain and toilet flush mechanism, but they were not resolved during our stay. Overall, this is a beautiful

The only reason I am knocking down a star is, when we checked in, they had not set up the code that was sent to us for our door. In their initial message, they also did not send us a valid code, so I had already reached out to get one prior to our check-in. The result of them not giving us the correct code involved us being locked out for about 20-30 minutes when we first arrived. The number they gave us in their check-in message was their large branch number. I was transferred to the local branch, but it was closed, so I had to call back to the larger branch. The second woman I talked to was very helpful and got us an alternate code to use. Otherwise, the condo was beautiful. It was walking distance from lots of shops and restaurants as well as having a gorgeous beach view. The condo was clean, and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with extra cooking/hiking supplies and toiletries. The A/C and in-unit laundry were so helpful. In general, the host was very communicative.

Was a great place to stay at!! The view is amazing!! It is in a great location!! I loved having a kitchen, I was able to make breakfast in the morning! I loved having beach chairs to use!! The only thing is, it can be hot in the room at night even if it’s cooled off a little and there is only one ceiling fan. They have another fan in the room but it didn’t work, and they have 2 box fans in the closet but one is broken and the other is filthy

Nice place to stay just off (10 min walk) the beach. My wife and 7 year old were comfortable here. The unit is on the top (12th) floor. It’s a nice quiet place to stay while enjoying the Waikiki area. Building comments: the elevators are a bit slow and only 2 of 3 were working during my stay. The parking garage entrance is quite steep. The pool is clean but small. It’s good for small kids. Unit comments: the kitchen faucet is quite loose and not really attached. It needs attention from a plumber. The dresser in the bedroom has at least one nonfunctional drawer.

We love staying at Maui Kaanapali Villas! This was our third visit. The grounds are quiet and peaceful and the beach is the BEST! However, this unit had a VERY FIRM bed. It was super uncomfortable and made us really sore in the mornings. Also, we stayed 10 nights and would've appreciated more than 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Unit didn’t offer much privacy, so it wasn’t an ideal stay for 4 people. The resort also doesn’t stock kitchen with basics such as tea and coffee and that was disappointing. The bathroom requires maintenance- had leaky faucets. Overall, the unit was not up to expectations. The location is great. It’s close to restaurants and beaches. This is a good place for someone who spends most of the time outdoors and is only looking for a place to spend the night.

They failed to inform us that the elevators had been broken for 3 weeks. 5 flights of stairs were hard to do every day. The cleaning staff failed to open both parts of the apartment and a bathroom door wouldn't close. Definitely not worth the price.

The location is gorgeous, but you feel like you're renting from a distant bureaucratic corporation--which is exactly what you're doing. Not how I typically want to spend my time on the island.

This room needs a major update. All fixtures are original to build. We were afraid to sit on the carpet as it was so stained. The fridge handle had tape on it and the fridge often leaked water. We had to handwash the plates as they were too large for the dishwasher (under sink model). We were only provided 3 oz of dishwashing soap for 2 weeks, unit sleeps 6 to 8. We were given 4 dishwasher tablets for 2 weeks. A family member in a 4 person unit received 8 tabs for 1 week. When I checked with the desk to see if more tablets could be provided I was told no, I only receive 4 as a starter kit. The bath towels were very old and very thin. We found unfolded sheets and a pair of socks, which did not belong to our group underneath the upstairs twin beds. Only beach supplies were 5 old beach chairs and a kid bucket. By comparison, the family members in the 1 bedroom unit had newer beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, a mini cooler, 2 boogie boards, and kid buckets and shovels.
