Charleston Coast Vacations's guest rating of 4.76 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“The location was great, clear and easy instructions with check in. We had an a/c issue and response and resolution was quick. Friendly, clean place.”airbnb

“Great mini vacation. Pictures and description were completely accurate. Views were spectacular. Building has an elevator with rolling trolley to help get luggage upstairs. We enjoyed biking and the super close proximity to the beach. If you drive a large SUV, the parking spaces are tight and lot gets packed quickly.”airbnb

“This is a beautiful home as described and shown in photos. However, we were disappointed in some things. An elevator was listed as an amenity but was locked off and 2 of our party had trouble with all the stairs. We would have paid to have the pool heated but were not told of this til last day. There were no beach amenities, one beach chair and 2 pool floats (pool was cold). We could not find any house book with helpful instructions, etc. Maybe housekeeping put away? We have rented homes like this before and are usually with the greeting and welcome gift. The welcome flowers, key lime pie & bagels delivered were appreciated. Beware you have to step up on a table and swing over the fence to access beach. Two of us could not do that. A beautiful home but not exactly as we expected. Feel like we paid for amenities not provided.”airbnb

“Our issues started when we walked into the house. We were greeted with a general lack of upkeep and cleanliness. The kitchen sink was dirty (food in sink and wet filthy sponge in sink), there was hair in the 3 of the showers. 4 of the beds had “significant” hair on them as did the majority of the “clean” towels. Pillows on the sofas were stained and there was glitter from the previous guest still covering them. The pool was filthy and clearly had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. In 2 bathrooms the outlets didn’t work. In 2 bathrooms there was zero water pressure. I reached out to the host and provided pictures. I got a reply that they would send someone out to address the issues. We washed the towels and cleaned up the house. Thankfully we had a set of sheets that fit one of the bunk beds. First day/night was terrible! We waited over 24 hours before anything corrective was done. Not worth the money! I feel cheated! Recommend avoiding this property.”airbnb

“We love Folly Beach and have been coming to Folly for a long time. We also like Airbnbs and our hosts ourselves. I’m pretty sure this Airbnb is owned by a company and it felt very corporate. The communication felt like AI and missing somewhat of a personal touch. The place was huge and we loved the bathrooms with each bedroom and it was clean but there were so many things that were broken and needed fixed! The door to the only bathroom downstairs did not lock and many of the drains seemed clogged. The kitchen faucet sprayed water everywhere when washing dishes and constantly got us wet! We rented the place bc of the kitchen and had trouble cooking even basic stuff bc lack of measuring spoons, whisk, & other basic kitchen supplies. The dishwasher also didn’t get our dishes clean. The pool was nice and heated. Parking was great/ i just don’t think it was worth how much we paid.”airbnb

“We had a great time our airbnb. The view was absolutely beautiful and the house was spotless. It’s absolutely perfect for a group of girls or a family vacation. The whole reason why I booked this air bnb was because all the guest would have a bed. Unfortunately before I came they changed the bed arrangements (which they did let me know about) But if i wanted to refund because of that situation I wasn’t offered. Because of this one of our guest had to stay on an air mattress. You also have to bring your own supplies which I find odd because I feel like all air bnbs i’ve stayed at they supplied for us. We had to bring laundry detergent, dish soap, beach towels, and toilet paper. Overall it was a beautiful stay and I would definitely come back!”airbnb

“Pros: The house and location were absolutely perfect. It easily accommodated a group of 14. Cons: 1: We were requested to bring all basic amenities ourselves, including kitchen towels, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. We found this bizarre given the high price point. These items indicate they are included per the online listing. 2: The rental agency was slow to respond. Overall, we really enjoyed this space and would probably stay again. Our group was flexible and self-sufficient and we rolled with the minor inconveniences. Just set your expectations appropriately and you will enjoy this home.”airbnb

“The location is great for beach access and ability to walk to the windjammer and grocery store. The price was completely not worth it. 2100 for 2 nights and an extra 400 to heat the pool. Really was not worth it. Hot tub was very nice but jets just didn't seem to fully come on. The house deffinately needs to be pressures on the porches and paint touch up. for the price just wasn't worth it for me. Master bedroom has a wierdbed frame and I kept stabbing my toe on it. 2 stars at best. Sorry, just wouldn't recommend.”airbnb
