“loved the place and how accommodating the staff are but the rooms do have a funky smell and sheets are stained and couch had dried blood which makes it a hazard lol but overall location and staff are nice.”

“the location was definitely one of the best parts of our stay. it was convenient and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and things to do around Waikiki. parking was also available and manageable, although you have to reserve in advance for hotel parking. view from balcony was amazing, especially at night. unfortunately, we had several issues with the room itself. the bathroom toilet flush handle kept breaking (falling apart), and there was no housekeeping during our stay. we would also wake up with unexplained red spots/bites, which made us concerned about possible bed bugs. the kitchenette was missing basic necessities, like cooking oil and scissors. we found a small baby lizard inside the utensil tray. overall, the location and walkability were great, but the cleanliness, maintenance, housekeeping, and amenities could use major improvement.”

“This location was great - 4 min walk to the beach, many notable restaurants and cafes all within a short walking distance, and we were just a street over from the busyness of Kalākaua Avenue ( it was quite peaceful given how close we were!) The room was clean and the perfect space for 3. We loved the two balconies & the Eastern view (especially for sunrise). We would advise the hosts to include more linens, bath towels, and toilet paper, as we were only given one of each for a week. We did end up going through the front desk to obtain those items & to also request a maintenance request for the shower that was intermittently working, but those requests did take longer than what I would think appropriate. Other than that one complaint - I would 100% stay here again. We had the best time.”

“The property has mold present in the room. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT ruin your vacation booking here. The host provided no assistance when contacted, We had to book a hotel same day to get out, and then work through air bnb support to get our refund. Absolutely terrible experience.”

“We were on the 12th floor and the floor was pretty quiet. Occasionally I heard the elevator ding but I didn’t hear the people next door which is always a good thing. The complaints that I have is they make you clean your own room and take out the garbage cans. They also ask for you to take the sheets and pillow cases off and put them in a pile. I’ve never stayed in a place that requires that. Also, when we arrived, there were no body soap. Hawaii in April is humid! We were swimming, walking around and hiked! We needed to shower but it was hard to since there were no soap. I mentioned it to the front desk but they told me to wait for housekeeping to come later. I asked again later but they said housekeeping was busy… I messaged the owners and they did not respond!!!!! Eventually the 3rd time I asked, the front desk lady came up with a bottle.. if she was able to come up with it, why didn’t the other 2 front desk people offer that too?!”

“The location cannot be beat! It was a 3-block walk to the beach and a surfboard rental only 2 blocks away. The 'hot' tub was never used because it wasn't hot. But we really didn't rent the place to stay at the hotel. We were surfing, hanging out outside and walking around town. There was an issue at check-in with a leak in the bathroom, but no communication about that prior on the app..? We were suggested to upgrade, but it was very late so we decided to stay in the original unit. I would also suggest they get an exterminator. Those tiny German roaches were milling about. But hey, it's a good price!”
