4.66Visit website
Castle Resorts's guest rating of 4.66 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“I realize Hawaii is expensive. But for the amount we paid for six nights it’s a lot of money ( compare to an all inclusive top notch resort in Mexico) The condo did show its age. Definitely due for an upgrade at this point. ( lots of remodeling noise going on in close proximity). You do have a clear view of the ocean as no other unit is blocking your view and only one direct neighbor. Overall it had everything you need. We made good use of the BBQ grills on site which were great.”airbnb

“If you want the waves to rock you to sleep this is the unit for you. With our prime ocean view we watched seas turtles in the mornings and a monk seal flop up onto the beach where he stayed all day taking a nap! The unit was very close to the surf shop and beach entry point. Do yourself a favor and rent a snorkel for the week. You don't have an assigned parking spot so parking is first come first serve. Some nights we parked really close and other nights we had to walk from the furthest part of the lot, but we didn't mind because we were walking through paradise. You will need to stop to get groceries if you plan to cook-including oil and other basics. There was salt and pepper, but other than that they request you throw everything out when you check out. There's a drip coffee maker with a one day supply of coffee so if you're a coffee drinker you'll want to get some coffee. We opted for a local Kauai blend and had delicious coffee overlooking the ocean every morning. We will be back!”airbnb

“The grounds were beautiful and well kept, and the pool and gym across the street were a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the unit itself was disappointing for the price. There was a hair on the toilet when we arrived and it didn’t feel properly cleaned. Since there’s no AC, you have to sleep with the windows open the breeze was nice, but mosquitoes were somehow getting through the screens so we were getting eaten alive every night. One night we tried to sleep with the windows closed and it got too hot and muggy. Housekeeping brought extra fans and staff checked the screens and provided bug spray, but it was still very hot and muggy and hard to sleep. The mattress was also extremely soft with noticeable dips, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with back issues.”airbnb

“We had amazing time at Kiahuna Plantation. Great proximity to the ocean, restaurants. Kitchen is fully equipped and place was also very clean. In house laundry would have been a great addition though. We enjoyed our stay! Mahalo!”airbnb

“This condo was the perfect home base in Poipu! Waking up every day to the sight and sounds of the ocean was a highlight of our trip. Less than a 2 min walk into the water, convenient to parking and walking paths to the other resorts. Overall a great stay, definitely recommend!”airbnb

“Great house, great location, friendly staff! However, we felt ripped off by the cleaning fee as we arrived to a unit that had not been appropriately cleaned or stocked with necessary linens. Housekeeping was unavailable upon our arrival at 4pm and did not correct the issue the following day as promised by registration staff. Would stay again as we are hopeful that this was an anomaly!”airbnb

“Furniture was damaged. Dining room chairs were so sunken you couldn’t sit on them.table was delaminated.Couch was filthy and torn and mildew was overwhelming in both bedroom and living room. The master bed was an old thin spring mattress that was as hard as a concrete slab. All the furniture should be replaced. The kitchen was poorly equipped. Instructions for the television were inadequate. The space was adequate but it needs to refreshed with new furniture. We couldn’t close shutters in landing area to keep out wind and cold because they were broken. They were renovating the upstairs condo creating noise all day and there was no notification before booking, only informed when we arrived. I have stayed one bedroom units seven times and I have never had such a bad experience. The owner could upgrade this condo for $10000 and make it nice! Castle and air and b should have exerted more quality control! Until these issues are addressed they should not represent it!”airbnb
