“Love the beach view from the balcony.Few steps to the beach. Elevator definitely a plus for my elder mom. We came in an 82 degrees apt., The bathroom vent blowing out heat. I reached out on our 2nd day and was able to get a response right away They sent the ac guy in the afternoon but can’t work on it till the following day. We spent 2 nights and 3 days with 81’ apt, unable to sleep good at night. I was given a partial refund.”

“This home was honestly not what we expected being that it is in a higher class area. The home has dirty carpet in the rooms, horse flies which got my daughter, a roach, and the couches are dirty and smell like a homeless couch. The upstairs carpeted bedroom smells very bad and floors so bad don't feel like can have my children at all in. Very disappointed. I have rented in St. Augustine before but never something like this. Even the side of l fridge is rusty and and laundry area a mess. Issues: Fridge rusty outside, Accessibility very bad Outside Stairs uneven Inside stair railing unstable and very open where child could fall through Sandspurs First thing noticed is couch is disgusting and not cleaned well....even the sent out professional cleaner could not correct Many outlets not working Outdoor back patio lights do not work and are hanging like going to fall out Water smells like sewer Showers do not drain well For price I was expecting something much much better.”

“The house was clean but needs some maintenance work. The bathroom in the hall is fed by a tankless water heater and the shower goes from warm to cold to scalding every couple of minutes. The bathroom sinks only put out a pencil-thin stream. The kitchen faucet is stuck on spray mode with very high pressure, so water sprays everywhere when you turn it on. The walls are beat up and dirty throughout the house with cobwebs, splatters, and gouges from furniture. The exterior entry stair light was out when we arrived, which posed a safety risk. Management sent someone out to repair it the next day, though. There are nails sticking out of the siding as you go up the stairs and one of our group ripped a shirt sleeve brushing the wall. The pool water was dirty and full of sand, and the pump made a loud grinding noise when it kicked on. The entry gate latch was broken and maintenance said they couldn’t fix it, so we did. The living room tv has major dead spots and lines. The location was good.”

“Unfortunately, this Airbnb did not work out for us, and we had to leave shortly after arriving and book another place at our own expense. One concern was safety for our dog. The property is located very close to a busy road, and we were not expecting that based on the listing. If you are traveling with a pet, this is something to keep in mind. Another challenge was the staircase leading to the second-floor. The stairs were very steep, narrow, and enclosed by walls on both sides. They were difficult to navigate with luggage and were also challenging for our dog to climb. There was no photo of the staircase in the listing, so we were unable to evaluate this feature before booking. Had the staircase been shown more clearly, we would not have booked this property because it was not a good fit for our needs. Guests traveling with pets or anyone with mobility concerns may want to carefully consider whether this setup will work for them.”

“It could’ve have been better and presentable when we drove up the grass wasn’t mowed and it could’ve been cleaned better and there was not a fresh smell. Pricing was too much for the location.”

“Arrived at 4:15 PM, before unloading the vehicles checked the place over including beds. Surprised to find the bedsheets were dirty and had hair on them, then check bathrooms to find hair on the floor like it hadn't been cleaned. At 4:30 PM contacted Casago regarding all the issues such as bedsheets, the bathrooms, a chair in the eat in kitchen had mud prints all over it. While waiting on housekeeping to arrive a spindle on the rail fell out onto the floor and scared all of us. A few of the walls looked like something had been spilled on them. Checked the patio furniture to find that they were in bad shape (paint chipping off - left out in the elements). Someone left the trash bin opened and it was filling up from the rain. The rug in the living room was crumpled up under the sofa. Six (6) hours later received a call that housekeeping was not coming until the next morning. Asked where to sleep and was told to wash the sheets. This house has potential if given some TLC.”

“We stayed at this Casago-managed beach house and were very disappointed. Major issues: -Terrible WiFi that buffered constantly. T-Mobile had zero service for 7 of 9 guests. Kitchen: Only 1 small skillet & 1 quart pot-impossible to cook for more than 2. Missing ziplocks, storage containers, dish rags, spaghetti spoon, meat chopper, ran out of detergent pods, paper towels, trash bags & toilet paper mid-stay. Only 8 heavy stoneware place settings for 12 people, impractical for families with kids. Only 8 tiny bath towels total for 12 guests! We washed them every night & still ran short. No extra hand towels. Master bedroom stayed 80F due to one tiny AC vent & non-working ceiling fan/light. Had to sleep with door open, no privacy. Dryer in adjacent closet made it even worse. Visible black mold in washer & sink. Upstairs shower flooded floor every use. Live cockroach first night (no host response). Only 6 hangers per room. Parking too small for 15-passenger van. Ice maker failed after day 5.”
