Casago Silva Vacations

Casago Silva Vacations's guest rating of 4.58 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“This was a lovey stay! We enjoyed the deer wandering through the yard in the mornings. It was peaceful and very comfortable. We hope to visit again! The house was bigger than expected and the pool table was a lot of fun. Do bring coffee pods for the Keurig!”

“Nice private location. Very peaceful on the deck watching seals splash around and ferrys cruise by. Kitchen was well prepared. An amazing place to relax.”

“The view of the Olympic mountains from the back deck is amazing. Two of my girlfriends and I stayed here for the weekend to partake in Oysterfest. We would happily come back! For others planning to stay here please note that the driveway is no joke! You definitely need 4WD or AWD to make it up to the house. It seems like some 2WD vehicles attempted the climb and caused some damage to their gravel driveway in the past. But my AWD vehicle was still able to reach the top without issue.”

“We stayed at the 3 BR house, ‘The Tides’. Our reservation did not include the 2nd smaller independent unit. We needed to clarify with the property mgmt. company, that we only needed the 3BR on the property. Communicating our property request and making a date change took a bit of time as it goes through a property mgmt company (AI bot ?) who stated any changes needed approval by AirBnB. Meanwhile, AirBnB stated any changes needed to be made by the owner. Got a bit confusing, but in the end it all worked out. Great house, with some 1970’s charm and really incredible water front view . Loved how quiet it was and having access to a kayak on the property. The plumbing had a few issues, but we just timed our hot water use so showers, laundry and/or dishwashing was not done simultaneously. Would return again!”

“This Airbnb is well appointed, comfortable, and lots of attention to detail! The kitchen has quality kitchen products/tools. The bed is supportive and still soft. I appreciated the small library, cozy couches, and light filled space. It’s a very peaceful neighborhood, only noise is the occasional ferry horn (so fun!). The location is close to downtown and made it easy to explore the island. It’s a perfect space for a weekend getaway. Casago was a big disappointment. Despite reaching out 6 times ahead of/during our stay, Casago waits until the morning of departure to confirm a late checkout for a fee. This took hours of phone calls and messaging that morning even though no one was coming in that day. They were quick to accept our late check out payment, vague on assurances, and sent conflicting/repetitive messages. At 9:50AM, their team still couldn’t confirm if our check out was 10 or 12. Given the lack of support in a low-stakes scenario, I would not recommend staying with them.”

“The house had no working heat for the entire two-night stay, in every unit I used including the living room downstairs, and the bedroom upstairs. I reported it at 8:49 PM the first night; the host stopped responding after 9:21 PM and never sent maintenance or provided a space heater. The units also showed blinking fault lights that night and into the following morning before I left. I checked out a day early due to the cold. The host apologized for the lack of overnight response. The property itself was otherwise as described, but the lack of functioning heat and lack of timely help made the stay unworkable. Aside from the property and management, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the neighbors are also kind.”

“The property is nice and the view is beautiful, but the customer service was so poor that I cannot recommend staying here. The tub clogged and we had to repeatedly push to get someone to fix it. The WiFi did not work at all during our five-night stay, despite being advertised. We contacted the hosts, asked them to call us, and they never did. They made essentially no effort to resolve the issue. The advertised “DVD collection” is also misleading—about 10 outdated movies with very little variety. Problems happen, but the lack of communication and effort to address them was unacceptable. A nice view does not make up for poor service. Stay somewhere else.”
