“In the least amount of words possible, this property is nothing as described. We recently booked for four days three nights and within 12 hours of arriving we packed our bags and left. An outrageous amount of maintenance and safety concerns. The toilet in the master bathroom did not flush, and the sink was leaking out of the cabinet. Balcony doors did not lock and second floor balcony doors did not open. The backyard was poorly maintained. The backyard was under construction when rented to us and did not have a fenced in backyard as described. We tried to resolve these issues with Casago and the host. Both of which were not helpful, unable to work with us and did not care about any of the safety concerns. I would not recommend this property to anyone. The pictures looked great, but the house itself was in very poor condition.”

“We had a great weekend and look forward to a return trip in the future. The upper deck provided comfortable seating and a beautiful view of the ocean. Getting to and from the beach was easy.”

“Great location - right on the beach. Inside is exactly how pictures look. Beautiful and spacious. However, when we arrived there was no running water and after numerous calls and about an hour later they worked with the city to get it turned on again 😳. They did provide us a little compensation. The outside back porch needs work and I had sent a message to the host before booking with my concerns based upon reviews and they stated everything had been fixed. Siding was missing/damaged on several columns. The outdoor wood railing did appear new. The fire pit area must be an AI picture. The online pictures are not what was there for the fire pit area. We honestly felt there was a bit of a bait and switch. It is a great location on the beach and plenty of room for families.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this home! The house was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were AMAZING, and the neighborhood was quiet and convenient for getting around. The host was responsive, friendly, and made check-in incredibly easy. We especially loved the outdoor patio and thoughtful touches like local recommendations. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!”

“We went for my two daughters graduation gift and we had a blast. Even when it rained all day on Saturday they gave us all the local shops and restaurants near us. The games in the house kept us occupied. absolutely loved the place. there were 8 of us and we all fit perfectly my favorite thing was the chairs on the top deck.I loved being able to keep an eye on my kids in the water and cook all at the same time. ❤️signed the Hathcocks.”

“Overall: this is a great place, and we’re all glad we came. The price was fair, the quality was good, and we enjoyed ourselves! The best parts: unobstructed view of the beach, fantastic balconies and patio furniture, quiet area, great house for a group, strong A/C, good appliances, and a fantastic host. The good parts: nice breeze most days, free ferry to Galveston, the kitchen was stocked fairly well, the double trash cans in the kitchen helped, the 3 trash receptacles outside were sufficient, and The Big Store is very close and has tons of things you need and want. Beds were fairly comfortable.. The parts that could have been better: mosquito treatment needed (swarms!!), the flooring is rotted in the 3rd story entryway and the master shower leaks onto the floor (rotting there, too) and the bunk room entryway was rotted. Water from 3rd floor dripped through into bunk room on 2nd floor. Beach houses are rough to maintain, and this kind of thing is somewhat normal.”
