“Great views”

“We booked Mountain Joy #3 for a family weekend to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. The space worked out great for our 3 generation group. There was room to gather, but also space to spread out. Weather was great so we enjoyed spending time on the front porch - and especially getting to see 4 elk right on the property! The house is older, but that was not a negative for us - just want to be clear for people reading reviews. If you're looking for brand new luxury, this isn't it. If you're looking for cozy family space with an amazing kitchen table and proximity to all that the Maggie Valley area has to offer, you should definitely consider it. We are already thinking we would like to come back with a larger group and rent several of the houses/cabins if they are available. Also, the property managers were great to work with!”

“Gem in the valley was perfect for our Christmas vacation to go snow skiing. We had a group of seven and had plenty of room. Very close to Cataloochee Ski resort only about 10-12 minutes away.”

“This cabin is very cozy and clean! The kitchen is really well stocked and we were able to make multiple meals. We also really enjoyed the hot tub- we would stay here again. The only thing I’ll say is that the check in process could be streamlined, but it’s not a big deal.”
