“Great location and clean place to stay; however, up front description should notify guests of check-in process and limited vehicle allowance before renting. This is a stay that allows up to ten guests but only allows for 3 vehicles to check in through a gated community. Check in was also confusing as they did not provide which gate (address location) to use for the check in process, only house address. You must also provide the three vehicles’ information including license plate/make/model and each guest including their age in advance. Also please note that one of the listed bathrooms is a tub only and not a shower.”

“We enjoyed our stay! The cabin is great but it needs some maintenance. We loved how we could walk a good part of town. The cabin is quiet. Everything is comfortable. I messaged them once right before check in and did not get a response. It did not affect our stay but didn't give me confidence that someone would respond if I had a real issue.”

“Beautiful place and very peaceful. Very well stocked with everything we needed. The only thing is we couldn’t get one of the tvs to work and I messaged them to come look at it and they never did. We had a bear visit. Not sure if the hot tub is salt water but it was not bleached at all! But the place it’s self I loved it! The pool and resort was a disappointment though”

“Spacious house on a very quiet spot on Lake Burton. Well equipped and nicely furnished. The 2 sleeping porches are not really private from the bedrooms. They also have no closets or access to a bathroom except through the adjoining bedroom. The layout was fine for our party (2 couples and 1 solo adult), but there are not more than 3 private bedrooms suitable for couples. Would be great for a girls trip or couples with children occupying the adjoining sleeping porches. The listing did not make this clear to us.”

“Beautiful space, for what we paid I wasn’t expecting a mouse in the home, lightbulbs out, dead and alive spiders/roaches, & damp carpets underneath the window A/C unit. I do understand it is a mountainous home, but I believe pest control and maintenance would be useful. For what we paid - we did not expect these inconveniences.”

“I’ve never left a bad review, but here’s what you need to know going in as of May 2026: 1) they will send you a request for another fee after your non-refundable booking is complete “for the pool” 2) the driveway is incredibly steep and sketchy. 4WD vehicle access only. (Uber Eats driver literally couldn’t get to us, left our food on side of the road half mile down) 3) beds are VERY hard and old. 4) the entire place is super dated. 5) the downstairs bathroom smells like old dog pee. I do NOT recommend this place at all. May 2026”

“This cabin is in a beautifully secluded location, right on a peaceful creek. The cabin itself was clean and cute, but there is absolutely zero privacy inside. There are no bedrooms, doors or walls other than the bathrooms. Will work for a couple or a single person, but families or groups not so much. You can hear everything that is going on in the bottom level up top in the loft and vice versa. Tiny kitchen so if you are one that cooks on vacation this is not the place for you. There are ALOT of stairs, including a tiny spiral one so keep that in mind. It has a large deck with a hot tub which is nice, however it is not covered so if the weather is bad, it is unusable. The host tried to shake us down days after our stay, 1st $300 for a "missing" coffee pot, we never saw or used, then another $300 for excessive cigarette smoke. WE DO NOT SMOKE! I am allergic to cigs and smoke so this is a ridiculous claim. If you rent from this company TAKE PICS when you leave.”

“The place is perfect for two people with great location besides welcome center. Lot of parking space on the property. The Listing however does mention it has iron board and iron but that did not exist. Also the cleaning wasn't done up to the mark and there were stains in bathroom and toilet. Also there wasn't any kettle for hot water and we were not sure if the coffee mugs were microwave friendly or not. The dinning chairs were not cleaned at all. So overall cleaning was not done properly. The location is safe and perfect and walkable to the downtown.”

“Great place tucked away in Helen. Everyone had a bathroom of their own to get ready for the wedding. the visible spaces were clean but there were pills in the carpet, empty bottles in the bushes by the hot tub, wet paint on the side table in one bedroom that when we set our stuff down it got on it and transferred to the bed. I think the cleaning company is the bigger issue. The place was great and in a convenient location. Enough room for 8 adults comfortably”

“They cabin was nice but it was quite dirty and clearly had not been cleaned for some time prior to our arrival(dead flies on the towels, cobwebs with dead spiders in them, dirty surfaces and towels). We ended up cleaning it ourselves which took away from the time we had to enjoy Helen (washing all towels etc). One of the beds advertised as full is a single. The beds are cheap and made with a chip board like material which was crumbling and subsequently leg broke. Thankfully No one was injured. Overall the experience was disappointing but we tried not to let it ruin our trip.”
