“​We booked an ocean-view unit to celebrate my birthday and 1-year cancer-free milestone. Two hours before arrival, we were switched to a back unit. The place smelled like wet dog. We left our dog home to follow rules, yet other guests had large dogs swimming in the pool and spa, along with glass wine glasses, metal pieces, and cigar smoking in the water. The security gate also opened and closed randomly. ​Maintenance was terrible: the kitchen garbage slide-out wasn't bolted, the microwave faceplate was falling off, and the 2nd bathroom shower handle was loose. The master bed was rock hard, and outside motion lights flashed all night through thin shades. ​Two weeks after checkout, the host falsely claimed we broke a bunk bed leg. Housekeeping likely broke it in a rush to clean and blamed us. We had no reason to try and move a giant bunk bed. We washed dishes, towels, and took out trash before leaving. ​ If you do book, record a checkout video to avoid false damage claims.”

“Right off the bat these hosts were money hungry, they wanted an extra $200 for early check in (4 hrs early) which I thought was an excessive amount .The house was very hot and the AC would not stay down under 75, especially the master bedroom which did not have proper airflow and got extremely hot compared to the rest of the house and the master bathroom had no AC vent or fan so it was a sauna. We also had a change in our stay plans so we wanted to cancel the last two nights so I put in the cancel request and they tried to deny the request even though it was within Airbnb cancellation guidelines, when I challenged this to get the partial refund they“ reevaluated” the request and magically it was accepted after I had to send screenshots of the cancellation policy and state that I actually knew what I was talking about. The pool also had debris in it when we went to use it. I would not recommend these hosts, I have stayed in plenty Airbnbs and never had these issues.”

“The place has 4 built homes with over 6 more lots for sale. Elevator does not work properly, so if you restricted beware. Absolutely no landscaping. Pool tiny. No beach access”

“The place is beautiful and very safe. Lots of activities, and restaurants near by. The down side was the smell of the Sargassam which was no fault of the owners. Its a full east side of the Keys thing. There was an excessive charge for an early checkin that was disappointing and there were accommodation/supply issues for a family of 6 (not enough washclothes/hand towels, dishes, tp, garbage bags). I would recommend staying here, but be prepared if you have a larger family or need extra accommodation to spend extra money or supply stuff yourself.”

“No they lied canceled us for a wedding 2 hours out after we flew in . Had already sent check in codes and gate codes left us stranded mWould never recommend them”

“The house was overall dirty. Had to buy a pool skimmer myself to clean the pool. Shower didn’t properly drain. Garage door broken.”

“Complete scam. They didn’t mention that there is extra charge for pet 30$ per day. I was staying 10 days and they requested this payment right before check in. Stay away of this scam.”
