“The property was nice, clean, and overall a decent place to stay. However, the house was very hot when we arrived and didn’t seem to fully cool down until it was almost time for us to check out. I also requested an early check-in, but when I arrived I was given multiple door codes that didn’t work, which left me standing outside in the heat for a while. The pool was clean, but the photos were a little misleading. It appeared much larger in the pictures, but it’s actually quite small and only about 4 feet deep. Overall, the property itself wasn’t bad and we still enjoyed our stay, but there are a few things future guests should be aware of.”

“You can't beat the location of this place, but I didn't have the best experience during my stay. We had issues with the key pad from the minute we got into town. We would put the code in and the door would sometimes open, sometimes not open. On the 2nd night of our stay, after a long, very hot day, the key pad completely stopped working. I had to call customer service for help and they gave me 3 different codes to try before sending someone out. This was frustrating because it was sweltering and I kept telling them it wasn't a code issue. After an hour of waiting to get into the room, the property manager came out and opened our room with a key. He told us the only option was to move us to 2 different 1 bedroom units - all at 11 PM. We had originally gotten this room because of the 2 double bed option in one of the rooms, as I was sharing a room with my brother and a couple was in the other room with the king. Why weren't we just offered the key that he opened the door with?”

“It was okay but there was dirty dishes I the cabinet the door wouldn’t unlock ok the first time when I put the code in and the plumbing was horrible”

“Overall the place was nice, our tv in the back in the master bedroom was slow. My complaint is really about the noise coming from next door in the Airbnb they own the shower was messed up and they wanted to fix it at 8AM. Also we asked for an iron that was never delivered all tho it was communicated that it would. The person I was talking to seemed a little Ai.”

“The place did match the photos and communication was prompt. However, we did end up leaving the home early due to the roach infestation and various bugs throughout the property. I communicated and provided pictures of the bugs throughout the home, yet a refund was refused. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this property.”

“My experience with Airbnb this weekend was one of the worst. Upon arrival my friends and I noticed what seemed to be a large amount of animal droppings on the couch, a ransacked kitchen, and a room with a caved in ceiling. Once we discovered this we immediately messaged the host who was just as confused as we were. Instead of offering to remedy the situation in anyway we were told “oh this is a surprise to us” and “let me check with my team” with no follow up response. It did not seem like there was any urgency from the host to figure out what happened or to help us at all, for that I would not recommend staying here.”

“I wish they would’ve said that there’s no elevator for a girl who does not travel lightly. I definitely hated that cute little place very comfortable bed and the pool was very cute. Very loud outside, but I mean that comes with New Orleans being in the hotspots if you can’t sleep with noise, I would not recommend it. Smack down in the middle of all the chaos and I like it. I’ll probably be back.”

“Extremely noisy location. Business located downstairs from the place. My family woke up every morning from laundry sounds, vibrations, and phone rings starting around 7am. The whole upstairs shakes the entire day from the laundry business downstairs. Also there is a trash company or some sort located next door which also wakes you up around 3am with loud dumpster sounds. Windows and walls are paper thin. Location was awesome I must admit and neighborhood is not the worst but there is better in New Orleans. It is located on a super busy street so you can hear cars all night and early in the morning. We had parking in front of the place, we went to spend the night at a family members place a few hours up the road and returned the next day to the business van parking in front of the front door where we were originally. They will show up at 10:45 outside knocking on the door for you to check out at 11:00 rushing you out. I will not be rebooking this place on my next visit to the Big Easy.”

“Due to the fact that spirit is no longer in service we sent out the notification the same morning. We received it two days prior to our trip asking if we can cancel our Airbnb due to the situation. Which we spoke to Airbnb and they stated it was truly up to them. I also explained that it is a 12 1/2 hours away. hoping they will understand the situation was out of our hands and that they will give me a refund, but nope, they wanted to continue to follow the guidelines that they set, which is understandable but being that the plane is no longer flying any more you would think they will make an exception, but NO . We proceeded on the trip with a rental. We got there at 12:00 so I asked him if it would be OK if we can check in at 1 PM instead of 4 after all we’ve been through but No just asking for more money $50. Upon arriving, the only spot we were able to park was filled with trash maggots, flies n lots of leaves,n the pool molded behind shower curtain”

“BEWARE, BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION. The photos do not accurately represent current condition of building. Building is completely surrounded by scaffolding and under exterior construction. The balcony depicted in photos has been torn off and all you see out the windows is the scaffolding. Windows are nailed shut. Workers are actively working outside the windows which is a real privacy issue. Also, the rooftop patio in the pictures is an active construction zone is cannot be accessed either. THE OWNER AND HOST ARE AWARE OF THIS SITUATION BUT ARE STILL NOT DISCLOSING IT ON THE UNIT LISTING.”
