BluVista Vacation Rentals
4.54Visit website
BluVista Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.54 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“I will do my best to describe this stay compared to other Airbnb stays. First, you pay for the location. Beautiful ocean front views with quick access to the beach. Grocery store, coffee shop and restaurants all walkable. That being said, Bluvista Vacations knows that, probably doesn’t expect to have you come back and has plenty of people that will try it once so they don’t need to go above and beyond. This location is marked as free parking on premise, that is not true and it was my fault but I missed it in the read more section, so have $50 cash on hand. People have been complaining about the air, let’s be honest, it’s always going to be 76 in that place and they know it. If you want to use the downstairs tv at night for a movie, bring your Walmart account info with you because that’s how you sign in and they have no interest in creating their own account for the tv. It was clean for the most part but still sand from previous people and updates have it not looking like photos”airbnb

“This house was in a nice, quiet location however there were several issues…Check in pad is extremely difficult to use and see if the sun is shining on it…. near impossible to see the numbers. the front door locking whenever you shut it was horrible. We messaged the company/owner asking for outside light bulbs (esp in the back yard) which is not safe and made it very hard to walk our dogs out at night esp w/a fox & they never came and put any in. husband actually had to take one from the living room lamp. Not even a pizza cutter here. shower/tub areas were not that clean, and there was no patio/deck furniture to sit on at all in the back. Lastly, the furniture inside was filthy. The 2 small loveseats and the large couch were so gross we had to use sheets in order to sit/lay on them. While i know it’s a rental house and someone’s second home, however, this home needs some serious updating! Most (not all) of the guests stated the beds were very uncomfortable as well. Wouldn’t stay again.”airbnb

“Great location, parking a bit difficult, but easy walk to beach. Had to make your own bedroom when you got there and strip the beds when you left.”airbnb

“Condo was not bad however the cleanliness was questionable. When we checked in there was a mattress protector on the bed that you could smell before you moved the blankets. When we took the quilt off there were various visible stains on the protector. When we told the host they said to take it off ourselves and sleep on the mattress itself. Luckily there was another zipped protector on it but that also had stains. We purchased our own protector to put on the bed. There were numerous questionable red/brown spots throughout the condo and on the pillows on the couch. The pull out bed in the couch has mold or black spots (90% sure it’s mold) on the underneath of it. Expensive rental for the cleanliness to be so lacking. The keypad for the door doesn’t like to work half the time and is very touchy”airbnb

“While it was cozy and close to the beach. The unit was not clean upon arrival, had very thin walls and ceilings so could hear every word said by neighbors and every footstep upstairs. We ran out of toilet paper due to the unit only giving 2 rolls. As well as the toilet being damaged upon arrival and breaking fully during our stay. We contacted support who advised that they would send maintenance out shortly but maintenance never showed up. We went 4 days with a broken toilet.”airbnb

“Lots of chipped, stained, or otherwise damaged tiles. The handle on the door leading to the balcony was close to falling off. Some wallpaper was pulling away from the walls. Furniture was very uncomfortable. Lastly the wind tunnel sounds coming from the entryway was relentless, especially when trying to sleep at night.”airbnb

“I was a little disappointed. Kitchen appliances are old, Keurig and tv remotes did not work. Took 2 days to get replacements. The sliding doors to balcony are not secure. Safety bars are missing . Was told they would get dropped off but never received .Pictures showed more outdoor furniture than were actually there. Couches are in bad shape . The beds are very uncomfortable. Hard mattresses. No blankets and some beds did not have pillows . Very easy access to the beach and the unit was very clean and spacious.”airbnb

“I have to start by saying that the location was amazing and the house itself was beautiful. Unfortunately, the hosts made our trip stressful. Instead of communicating with us directly, they reached out to Airbnb support to get us removed for having a service dog. On our last night of the trip, we received a message from the host asking for us to send every guests IDs so they could confirm we are 25 and was implying that we would be removed if not. Instead of arguing about it, I sent a screenshot of Airbnb’s policy which clearly states it is the hosts job to check ages before confirming the booking and that they are never allowed to ask for guests to send IDs over the Airbnb’s messaging app without legal reason. To be blatant, the hosts ruined our trip and stressed out the owner of the service dog who is also very pregnant. On top of that, the hosts could not even send an apology for the way they treated us, even after Airbnb support confirmed my group did nothing wrong.”airbnb

“Needs deep cleaning. Stains on bathroom wall and couch covers. Stains from air conditioner vent residue. Beds are not made prior. TV did not work. Pool and hot tub had unknown yellow substance leaking around it. Bathroom outlet did not work. Balcony door does not seal.”airbnb

“Great location but, unfortunately the washer flooded laundry room and they didn’t fix it, the shower/bathtub wouldn’t hold water, dirty floors/walls. Definitely needs maintenance and a deep clean doesn’t look like the pictures. If you’re looking for a convenient place to stay close to the boardwalk is fine but not to stay in. It was a disappointment to our family vacation.”airbnb
